I got the chicken parm with spaghetti and although the service was very fast, I do have a tip: it seems the cook didn't let the spaghetti strain long enough, causing the noodles to be very soupy and diluting the flavor of the sauce. No matter what I added the sauce lacked flavor because of all the water. The chicken was delicious and the service was perfect. I'd return and make sure to let them know I'm in no rush.. let the water drain out completely. read more

Best pizza in the neighborhood in terms of value hands down. With Monday/Tuesday specials single slices are $1 and large pies are $8. Consider adding extra cheese for a few bucks, it's great! As for pizza quality they're fairly standard NY slices, very solid and not much to complain about. They do come out fairly greasy from time to time if you mind, I personally don't. There's other stuff on the menu but I don't try them very often. This pizzeria used to be owned by an older Italian guy maaaany years ago. As far as I remember he got too old and transferred ownership to a different family that wanted to run a pizzeria, and the pizzeria name eventually changed to what you see today. The new family's pretty strange and eccentric but they're hardworking people. Just don't expect to make a lot of chitchat with them and you'll be fine. Every time I call them the conversation's like 15 words total and it's done. I think they're secretly tired of making pizza like the Italian guy. This place has never been great for in-person dining since it's so small. Great news, nobody can complain about that anymore! ;) read more

Both the regular slices and the Sicilian slices are absolutely awful. Many years ago when this place was owned by somebody else, the pizza was good. Any place that's offering slices for a dollar on Mondays and Tuesdays ALL DAY, or a large pie for $10 for pickup, is generally struggling, which makes perfect sense as to why the food is so God damn awful (cheaper ingredients). It's a shame because the people behind the desk are actually nice. I wish these guys the best, but I'd say skip this place. read more

They sold me stale chicken rolls and refused to refund my money. Stay away from this place.

This place sent me a burnt pizza and refused to credit my card and send a new one. On top of that, they were rude and cursed me in Spanish.

This place is terrible ! I ordered minestrone soup and they sent me chicken soup. On top of that, they were rude and refused to refund my money saying "we did not have anymore minestrone soup." On another occasion, they overcharged me for a pie and kept the difference as a "gratuity." Stay far away from this place, as you have been dutifully warned in advance. read more

This place is okay, I remember when this place used to be NINOS back when I was 13. That's when I loved this place. Amazing pizza, true Italian held place. And I loved Nino he was such a great guy.Now the pizza is pretty dry and no taste to it at all so I refrain from getting pizza from here but I do order the grilled chicken salad here and to my surprise its really good. On 2 occasions they messed up my order and gave me something I didn't order and didn't even want. On another occasion I got into a huge altercation with another customer. She was clearly a little special but that's besides the point. In a nut shell. Nothing special about this place, just like the salad that's 2 stars plus another star for the fact that this place USED to be Nino's. read more

Cheap Pizza, Bad quality/ Bad service. I ordered a large pepperoni pie, the guy on the phone almost hung up on me before getting my number, or my address. To make things worse, he told me 45 minutes, I said okay its fine I can wait. 45 minute later he told me, they didnt make the pie and that the delivery guy said the lights were off in my house . I told him to ring the door bell. Long story short. he started yelling at me and cursing over the phone. The pizza is pretty good and comes close to New York style. The people work and cook here are terrific and friendly. Fair warning, they are not Italian and not related to original store operator of the 1970's but the $.99 pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays are delightful flashbacks to that time. They also sell empanadas that are displayed right next to the calzones, which is not a bad thing because it introduces another flavor to the neighborhood. I also remember when this place used to be Nino's. Really nice guy who treated all customers well. I give five stars for that. read more

This place has okay pizza. It's not great but will do to take care of your pizza cravings. I reviewed the other pizza place close to this one and gave a similar rating because the pizza is just average. However, this place costs less so I would order from here if possible. This place has a bonus Monday and Tuesday pizza special when slices and pies are heavily discounted. Although the other pizza place is closer to me, the price difference for competing average tasting pizza is what wins. read more
