Hero's, calzones, all looking absolutely delicious. Certainly on my list upon my return..

A Tony's Pizza in Brooklyn, can't say that's much of a stretch of namesake to location. As a half Italian, I never liked the name Anthony or Tony, but I live the proud men that don the name. I create visuals to all my characters and I always attached pictures some fat dark haired kid running home with undone shoelaces for evening pasta with his bingo armed half stocking grandma calling him from the stoop. "Heeeyyyy Anthooooonyyy". All kidding aside, any neighborhood would be blessed to have such a pizza parlor - that's what we called them. I videoed the experience of walking in and asking questions and I wish I could show it to you all, my beloved readers. It's on my YouTube channel and it's fabulous, it's authentic, it's real. The booming voice from the slight body behind the counter, explaining why Tony's is so special was echoed by the sweetest little lady who had pies stacked over her head, as she navagated her way to the exit from the boxes sides. She and her family have been coming here since way back apparently, another genuinely happy soul she was. Thin crust that is perfectly suited for the fold, ya gotta do the regular slice fold and elbow up lean, but this was after the dry garlic, oregano, red pepper dispensers were thoroughly cleaned by a worker that looked me up and down quizzically yet kindly. Next time I happen to be around during the meal time hours, I'm buying a pie to take home to share Tony's of Brooklyn's special slices and something special from their beautiful menu options of Italian entrees.

There aren't many pizzerias around here in this quiet neighborhood, but I was pretty happy with our visit. We came here right before their closing closing time. Ordered a pepperoni slice and a pepperoni roll. Their slices are pretty big, and the pepperoni roll was so perfectly crunchy on the outside.

The pizza here is not bad, I do come here when I crave a quick slice. We actually don't have many pizzeria options here, but this is definitely decent enough for me to come back. Staff is always friendly, service is quick. Decent pizza, I always get my Pepperoni slice. Gotta have my Pepperoni slice. The mini pepperoni cheese roll I got was okay, wished there was a tad bit more filling in there, but love how it's crispy on the outside and soft inside.

My one year old daughter enjoyed the New York style thin slice here. Thats basically the bulk of my reason for giving them 5 stars. Come give your baby their first real pizza at Tony's.

Tony's pizza is fire, hot crisp and delicious, perfectly cooked, the people behind the counter are very friendly treating cutomers like they were part of the "neighborhood"... We ordered a couple of regular slices and a Sicilian slice that I really enjoyed... The eggplant Parm sub was deliciouso, it's nice stopping at a family owned pizza parlor that really has their pizzacraft down solid... Tonys definitely makes my list of favorites...

Brooklyn Pie Combo (Sausage, Meatball, Pepperoni, Ham and Salami)

Ordered a Brooklyn Pie Combo and on their in house and online menu show $22 but when you pick up they charge you $26. Pizza is OK crust was a little burnt and did not seen to have all the toppings. Brooklyn Pie Combo should have sausage , meatballs, pepperoni, ham and salami but all I see is pepperoni and ham. Where is the meatball, sausage and salami

    Meatball hero.

Yum yum in my tum tum! Best pizza I've had in Brooklyn in a while. Got two large pies (on the Sunday special) and my total was $35.25 so the price is slightly above average but well worth it. Friendly service! One of the employees even opened the door for us!

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
