We came in as a party of 7 around 5:30pm/5:45pm. We were seated promptly and the place is clean overall Service was pleasant and accommodating. They start you off with focaccia bread. We ordered baked clams, meatballs and the fried mozzarella for starters. For our mains we had spaghetti bolognese, lasagna, Italian mac and cheese and penne vodka (x2). Pizzas were all very bread dough heavy and the tomato sauce tasted sweet. Tried a white sauce pizza (the prosciutto) and I would give it a 4/10. The marg pizza is a 6.5/10. The speciale combo is a 5/10. Salads are shareable between 3-4 people, nothing spectacular though. Service was fine, the ambiance was fine. Meal for 3 was about $120 with tax and tip. I am beyond impressed with La Villa's pizza and the house salad I had yesterday. I know, a house salad some would inquire? Yes!! The salad was a lovely mix of greens and vegetables with roasted peppers, mozzarella and provolone, with crispy cucumbers and garlic bruschetta. The dressing that accompanied the salad was a balsamic vinaigrette as well as a lemon dressing and my secretary and I were beyond pleased! My worst kept secret? I love bread. My even worst kept secret? I love pizza, make that Italian food altogether. So when I decided to stop here for dinner on a weeknight and saw only 6 people in the restaurant, and several dirty tables on the unoccupied tables, I was alarmed. It is more alarming of the service I received. My server did not want to be there. She seemed callous and aloof the whole time I was there. The two things I ordered, the Arancini and the Prosciutto calzone, are too heavy on bread and lack flavor. Everything either tasted hot or bland. The calzone was like 75% dough, 20% cheese, and 5% meat. I needed to get some marinara sauce to change up my palette, which I am sure is pretty screwed up thanks to all the bread I just ate. If you like bread, go order here and carboload. If you want something else, move along. I have removed this restaurant from my bookmarks so I will never have to come here again. read more

First, I walked in with my service animal and was told I wasn't allowed in. When I explained the vest said "service" for a reason and walked who i guess was the manager throughhow things generally go, he then said my service dog was "too large." We probably should have left then but tired and hungry, I did my best to educate him once more and was finally shown a table. Otherwise, the service was ok, but the food left something to be desired. The fritti appetizer was a hair overdone but tasty, yet the sauce got cold quickly. I asked for another small bit of sauce, which it turna out was an extra hefty fee . Was supposed to meet a friend here for dinner, but at the last minute we changed the location, but I told my husband I was coming here and asked him to let me know if he wanted anything. He requested a chicken parm calzone so after I finished dinner with my friend, I came by. Upon walking in, the restaurant is very clean with a long bench for waiting, a dining area with big windows and a clean countertop. I realized that they might be closing and figured I'd take my chances and pray they were still taking orders! Luckily, I was only a few min past 9pm and they were willing to make one for me! Thank you Eddie! It took about 10-15 min, but I was happy to wait for a fresh one. I had no idea of pricing so it was a bit steep to pay about $24 after tax for a "calzone. I was grateful though so I still left a tip and was on my way out and took a picture of the menu. My husband thought it was good and it wasn't like a typical calzone I get. My boyfriend likes to get pizza every time he visits, so we looked up pizza in Brooklyn and stumbled upon this place that I had never heard of but was only a 12 minute drive from my house. To our surprise, there was a parking lot with easy parking, plentiful seating with no wait, and delicious pizza at great portions. We went for the small stuffed pizza (fennel sausage, pepperoni, and homemade mozzarella, $18 for 3 slices) and the piadina (homemade mozzarella, smoked prosciutto, arugula, $12) dine-in and we were shocked by how much food came out. My boyfriend, who normally eats large portions, said that one slice of the stuffed pizza would've been enough for lunch. For me, I ate half a stuffed pizza slice and 2 bites of the piadina, and happily took the rest home as leftovers. The crust was delightfully crispy with a great bite, and the mozzarella was really smooth. It would've been nice to have some marinara sauce with the stuffed pizza on the side - maybe we'll order some mozzarella sticks next time to supplement. Overall, this was a very easy and accessible dining experience, and I definitely plan to bring my parents back. I order from here with my school often. It's a little pricey but the food is good. We ordered 4 wraps, a salad and fried zucchini but they only delivered 4 wraps. The person who took the order repeated it back however they still messed up the order. They delivered the wrap they missed 30 minutes later and charged an extra delivery fee!! Definitely wasn't the right thing to do since they messed up our order and being teachers we only have a limited time to eat. We are only a few blocks away from La villa too. Haven't dine-in here yet, but the takeout food was great. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I do personally think the price tag doesn't suit the neighborhood. If you're looking for some cheap eats pizza slices, there's a great pizza shop down the street that does the trick. However, if you're looking for some great Italian pasta, this is the place to go. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs ($18 which i'm sure you can get it less costly somewhere else) but it was great. I also highly recommend the penne vodka that my sister ordered.
