I was called earlier in the day by the reception to notify me that Sunny was leaving early and Amy is available instead. I needed to take the appointment as I am leaving for vacation. When I got there I was early and was told I have a 15 minute wait so I decided to grab something to eat. I figured this was going to happen because Sunny was out. By the time I got back they were ready. The front desk receptionist Rashida (sorry if I misspelled your name) was great! Greeted me with a smile, showed me how to check in and even check in by her was AMAZING! Now for the in between waxing experience. Amy came in and did the standard procedure. She gave me a mirror for the part she finished but not the next part to check. When I got home I still had spots that were not taken care of that I had to do myself. I am paying for a service. If I wanted to do it at home I would've. I had wax all over me and even on my phone. Honestly the only reason I would come back is because of Sunny and the receptionist tonight. When it was time for my appointment, several other names were called before mine, despite my having been waiting since noon. At checkout, I expected the advertised first-time guest pricing based on how my appointment was booked. Instead, I was told I had to pay full price because it was considered my second visit. When I asked what the total was, my question was not answered. I was simply asked for my ZIP code and told to tap my card. I only saw the total after the transaction had already been processed. After leaving, I realized I had never been offered a receipt, so I went back inside to request one. When I returned, I could hear the front desk discussing me with the esthetician, including asking whether I had left a tip and how much it was. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, the conversation focused on my gratuity. I asked another esthetician if she could please ask them to stop talking about me because I had a question. Her response was, "What are you going to do about it?" I was shocked by how unprofessional that interaction was. The waxing service itself was fine, but the customer service experience was not.
