I arrived 30 minutes early because I wasn't sure of the location. I was more than willing to wait until my appointment time, but she called me back about 10 minutes later. We had a brief consultation regarding the length and look I desired. She then made sure I was comfortable by offering pillows for under my legs and a blanket. She also asked if I preferred sensitive or regular glue. I'm glad she asked because my eyes are very sensitive. The procedure is scheduled for 90 mins. I believe it took her less time and that was with a a bathroom and stretch break in between. I asked if we had extra time if she could thread my eyebrows. This service was an additional $14, which is comparable to what our other companies in the area charge Overall, I am pleased with the service I received. My lashes are full and very natural looking. My eyebrows are nice and clean. Everything came out as requested. I plan to return in 2-3 weeks for a lash refill. They also offer punch cards for full lash sets (3 punches and you get 40% off the 4th) and eyebrow threading (5 punches and the 6th is free). Not a bad deal. Please note, they are in a shared space so it can get a little loud.

When I went in, I was recommended black henna because I was told it would last longer than brown, so I trusted that advice and went with it. Unfortunately, after just three days, the henna on my fingers had almost completely faded. I was honestly shocked. I've had brown henna in the past that lasted at least a week, so this was very disappointing. I called the business to explain what happened and sent a photo. I was told I could come back to have it redone, and we agreed on 6:00 PM. Later, I was asked to come at 7:00 instead. I arrived at 6:54, and the worker was doing someone's lashes. Without really acknowledging me, she told me to wait. I waited until 7:30, and she still wasn't finished, so I left. At 7:33, I received a message saying she was done--but by then I was already gone. No one followed up with me afterward. Overall, the experience was frustrating. The design was nice, but the henna didn't last, and the customer service was disappointing. I work too hard to spend money on a service that doesn't hold up and where I don't feel valued as a customer. I'll be looking elsewhere for henna in the future.

She also worked with another manager at the store and was able to set up my next appointment with a specific tech - I believe it was Emily. Tiffany was very communicative via both text and DM on there Instagram account, which I used to schedule my next appointment. She was also there when I arrived for that appointment to ensure things went smoothly. Emily was very attentive during my service, and ultimately I was happy with this set. I did SNS and Emily finished with a gel top coat. Since I prefer to not have gel that is cured by UV, I may not return regularly. However, this salon has a huge selection of not only regular colors, but specialty colors as well, such as cat eye and jelly polishes. Jelly polishes are definitely on my list to try in the future, so I'll likely be back for that. I very much appreciate the team's outreach and support after my last review, and it's clear that they care greatly for the service they can provide their customers.

Life is too short. I had another heartbreak this year and my beloved nail tech left my salon of eight years. I was devastated and tried to use other people at the salon but it just wasn't the same. Nails were not done properly. I had to ask around and Bella kept being brought up. Even though I had a terrible experience before I tried it again. I have a class at Golds and with having another trip on the weekend I said, "why not" and "spinned the block". I'm glad I did. I didn't have an appointment but luckily I got paired with Sky and well it's a match! I love his work! Omg! He shaped my nails and cut them all the same length! He's perfection! So the moral of the story is... sometimes chapters close for good reason. I loved my old nail tech and he loved me but something's just end and that's okay. Point in case, I think this nail tech might be a little better. God, the Universe, call it what you want but sometimes a closed door is allowing you to open what you need. This year has been full of unexpected surprises, a great new nail tech is one I'll take as a win in my book. And so in the case of a lost beloved nail tech, as always, she lives happily ever after.
