We have visited this location twice using their drive thru and experienced fantastic service and quality fast food albeit tacos, fries and their chicken wrap. They also provided us with a shit load of condiments to go with the food. I give this location a 5th star based on our last visit. We pulled in for a late lunch on a Saturday, made our order, when we got to the window the drive thru employee gaves us our food and when I handed him our card he stated the manager was paying for our lunch. I was surprised and made sure I thanked her. Although she sort of shrugged it off we were touched that someone would cover the cost of our lunch. First of all, this is not meant to get anyone in trouble, please. But maybe a change in procedures, instructions, or accountability is overdue. I ordered something through the app around 1:00 AM. I show up at the location and 2 yellow signs are blocking the Drive-Thru. I drive around and then wait for about 10 minutes and nothing changes. I'm confused, doors are closed, lights are on, and no one is visible inside. I take my $20 loss and drive to Fallbrook JIB, make an order at the drive-thru, and pay cash. So now this meal cost me 40 dollars. What do I do in this situation? Do I park my car and knock on the door? Do I remove the signs and drive up to the window? Do I park my car and go up to the window and scream for service? But also more importantly what should JIB employees do in this situation? Not allow online orders? Be ready with online orders that are ready to be picked up if they are going to block the drive-thru. This has happened several times to me, but I am not one to complain. It is frustrating and unfair. If there are problems they should not be taking online orders. If I don't receive my order there should be a way to get reimbursed. If employees are going to take a break maybe let the customers know how to pick up our online order or let us know when you will be back. Those careful when wet signs they use to block the drive-thru offer no instructions or information if you are on break, if there are system issues, or if just need to wait a few minutes. I didn't want to complain because I feel the employees here are always friendly and I often pass through this location after work, as they are my only option around the area. But the same issue 3 times already is frustrating. We don't eat fast food very often. It's overpriced crap food, but we needed something quick tonight. I wish I was able to give 0 stars. I accidentally placed my mobile order at this dark and dreary jack in the box instead of the one in Fallbrook, which was my fault. What I didn't expect was to get cold crappy food upon arrival. It took me @10 minutes to get there from Fallbrook, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but it was. Upon pulling up to the window, I asked the woman in a red shirt who was handing me our order if our fries were hot. She seemed super annoyed that I would even be asking her such an absurd question, but hey, isn't this your job? You do work here right? And if they are wearing a red shirt, doesn't that make you the manager? Shouldn't you care about the quality of food you are serving your paying customers? She gave me some half a$$ response like, yea, of course and practically rolled her eyes at me and was trying to hand me the bag that had been sitting in the counter. So I asked her to please check and see that they are indeed hot, which just further aggravated her. Her checking, was opening up the bag and possible looking at them, I don't really know. I couldn't see what she was doing inside the bag. What I know is what she didn't do, which was give us hot fresh fries. Ordered a Buttery smashed Jack sandwich and side salad at the drive thru. No one in line. After running my credit card they hand me the salad, then told me to park around the side (and in a fire lane). No option given for salad dressing, no receipt given, and I'm waiting for over 10 minutes in the hot sun. Cashier comes out the back door hands me food, and runs back inside. I left for home. Got in, and the sandwich was crushed, sloppy, cold, and missing the tomato and lettuce, yet had bacon on it. I don't eat bacon. The salad was half filled, with wilted lettuce. No croutons in the bag either. I returned to the restaurant to ask for a refund. The gentleman who was the drive through cashier wouldn't speak with me, and the other employee was rude. When I asked about the order, she said in broken English bacon comes on the hamburger. Her English speaking skills were pretty poor, considering communication was difficult, I asked for a refund. She ignored me and walked off. I left the food on the counter, and left. Lost $13.27, an extra trip, 45 minutes of my time wasted, and still had to find another restaurant for lunch. I've been going to this location for 30+ years, and this is the single worst experience of not only this Jack in Box restaurant, but any fast food restaurant. Poor customer service, poor quality control, poor performance from the employees, and the dining room wasn't clean, and neither was the kitchen. Good work Jack, you scored a zero on everything! I came in with my daughter and ordered the special they had (3 cheese double burger combo) and my daughter ordered the breakfast platter. When I received my order it had only one burger in my sandwich. I went up front and told them and they fixed it. While I was eating my sandwich the plastic clip from the bread was in my sandwich. Is this a coincidence? Maybe they were mad at me for asking for my order to be fixed? I imagine if my daughter were to be eating this sandwich, then we would be having a totally different conversation. I arrived at the drive thru, only to end up in an argument with the worker, because she did not believe me that my order even existed! After much cohursing, the worker decided to try looking for my order (and found it). She told me it was not ready. Seriously? After 30 minutes? I pressed the "Make it Now" button on your app, so my food would be ready just as I arrived at the drive thru. The original worker called another worker to assist her. I kept aslking both of these workers why my order hadn't been made yet. Neither of them responded. They were speaking Spanish with each other. I finally raised my voice and said, "Hello!
