Came here for a late dinner after a soccer game, no one in line, no one dining inside, yet the few things we ordered took 25 minutes. They had us park in the front, when our food was brought to us, we were told everything was in the bags. Sans a fork to eat the teriyaki bowl and the sauce for the eggrolls. I mean if you're going to ask, you should probably provide. My husband has to swing back around, park again and go inside to get the utensils and sauce. Found myself really hungry and didn't feel like cooking. I decided to try out Jack in the Box in Cathedral city. I've never been to Jack in the Box in a many years. I've been on this earth so tonight was the night to try. I decided to try one of their many variations of smash burgers. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and congenial. His name is Angel. I had a few questions to ask about the various burgers. We decided on a double number five without bacon. I got a large drink had an order onion rings I was so surprised on how good everything was. I can assure you I will be back it satisfied that craving, killed my hunger. The place was very clean and orderly so I sat down and slowly devoured a very delicious Smashburger. Thank you Angel. Your choice was right on the money. By the way, they also accept EBT cards. I don't care what anyone says.. Jack tacos are the best! And this is my favorite fast food! I prefer Jack to other fast food chains because of their menu and pricing, also my go-to when I'm on he go! The drive through service is good but spotty. More better than not. I get the 2 tacos for $2.36 and they are always what I expected and as good as it was when the Jack head rotated above a Jack Box. I was in high school and it was my go to lunch. As I got older I became a musician so it was my first stop as I was done playing clubs and going home. Absolutely terrible service. The fact that they had to put our cheese on the side of our sandwich because they're NOT ALLOWED to put it on the burger because we're using a coupon even though we're paying the extra charge is beyond me. You're still charging us the extra but you can't put it on the burger? Because you're not allowed? Am I missing something? I've gone to other Jacks in the valley and have never ever heard of this. Management needs to do an overhaul because the manager here has no idea what she's doing. Laziness at its finest. Avoid this Jack and go to the one in PS, it's worth the drive. They'll give you the extra cheese that you PAY for and they'll even put it on the burger instead of in a box on the side, how nice is that? I love coming to this Jack in the Box. Not because it's literally two minutes away from my house, but because of the staff. Each time we come here, they are all so personable and nice! Every fast food restaurant should be like this. Typically you get employees that either look like they hate their job (which I know as I used to work in food service) or their attitude is just stale. It's totally different here. All their employees from the cashiers to the managers always have a great attitude, a smile on their face, and they actually get your order right! Every. Single. Time! Such a big and welcoming difference from the location in Palm Desert, where you can see the employees are hating every minute of being there. And ALWAYS get your order wrong. Went to Jack-in-the-Box tonight Fourth of July and tried to order a jumbo Jack with only mayo pickles and lettuce. After she repeated it back six times wrong I drove off she kept saying cheese and ketchup and mustard I mean cheese and mayonnaise and mustard I mean no the last thing she said was cheese mayonnaise and what else so after five times I had to drive off If they cannot repeat a small order like that on one hamburger then just imagine how they would mess it up cooking it and trying to put it together with what I wanted on it. Jack in the box is just down from my house, so I tend to go there often, I finally had enough, I would say they mess up half of my orders. Today was irritating because I ordered a simple combo meal, an ultimate cheeseburger with curly fries and a strawberry Dr Pepper. The only thing they got correct was the strawberry Dr Pepper, I had asked for curly fries got regular fries I asked for the ultimate cheeseburger and got what looked like a double cheeseburger with bacon on it which was disgusting and the fries were cold.
