I want to give it higher stars but this is HANDS DOWN THE S L O W E S T restaurant and drive thru I have ever been to. Half hour in restaurant still not ready, the drive thru is around the parking lot. RIDICULOUS. I understand they're new but cmon. It's paint by numbers for food. Fast food should be fast, just sayin. Shame. Hope they figure out the kinks soon or this will go by the wayside like KFC did in the same location. read more

Was happy for a closer location but i would seriously drive down to Kapahulu to get Jack in the box instead of this place. Drive thru is a 20 minute wait at the least! They always get your order wrong and the cashiers are slow.. reall slow Also dont get the buttery jack from here, they burn it so much its dry.. nothing like the picture read more

April 1, 2015...read lots of the negative reviews but was hungry and it's 24 hours so....Went their 4:45 AM, drive-through, two people working in there, i'm the Only customer, no pressure and they miss two items (2nd drive through error for me-i let the 1st one go) that i ordered (i ordered eight items) in the package. I KNEW i should've CHECK but i didn't...and yes i Paid for the items but not going to make a big deal about it except heads up-check your drive through Orders. I'm thinking with all of the bad Reviews (read previous) doesn't it ever get back to corporate mainland Jack In a Box Headquarters or somebody Higher here? I don't know what the heck is going on but they got my order wrong twice and my curly fries are covered in black burnt stuff. I was wondering why my fries tasted like its burnt when it isnt. Looked inside closely and there are bits of these black things all over. Meaning they didn't clean the oil!! Freaking gross. read more

This was the second time to this location. First time my curly fries tasted burnt. When I got home I noticed there were black specks on them. Threw it away. Second time my curly fries were cold. The other items I ordered were fine. Tacos were warm and I received the correct items. The staff were polite. Not sure what's going on with the training here but I would rather drive to the Kapahulu location. Food quality is much better there. Having worked in food service for many years in the past I know the importance of food being the proper temp when being consumed. Drove through and ordered two jumbo jack juniors. No waiting in line! Got home and opened up the wrapper. No wonder why there was no wait . . . There was no burger or cheese in the sandwich. Opened the second jack. Same thing! Incredible!!! Drove back to jack, entered the sit down area, and they apologized and made new sandwiches. They forgot the cheese until I reminded them. Gave me a large drink free as well. Thia rating would have been one star, but will give another one for the apology, replacement sandwiches, drink and the laughs (like the Rap Replinger skit . . . I bought a ton of burgers and fries recently at the drive-thru. This location has forgotten our burger in the past, and since I bought so many, this time I made sure I checked before I left. Sure enough I was missing a burger, we checked and counted many times and we were for sure missing a burger. When I told them, however, the manager came out and said I wasn't missing a burger. So, we counted and checked the receipt, and we were. She then demanded I give her all of the bags of food back because she didn't believe me. So, I told her I wouldn't steal a burger. What an insult after how much I had already spent. She kept asking me to give her the bags of food so I did and she realized I WAS in fact, missing a burger, it was sitting next to the cash register. But rather than apologize, she handed me the bags and said she didn't know the burger was on the counter. Everyone makes mistakes but it was pretty irritating to be accused of stealing a burger. read more

Beware of Bait and Switch! At 11:45am I ordered the Fish Meal. The counter person said they are out of fries so if I wanted Curly Fries it would be 69 cents more!!!! Or I could get the Fish Meal without any fries for the same price! What the heck, they should substitute Curly Fries for free! Many people complained about this. read more

This place is the definition of pathetic! I ordered an Ultimate Jack Combo (secret sauce no mayo or mustard) with curly fries. Got a Sourdough Jack and when I showed my ticket with the correct order, I got attitude from the person making the orders. She toasted a bun and took the burger off the sourdough and gave it back to me. So no I have an Ultimate Jack with mustard, mayonase and secret sauce. Ate here recently and contracted food poisoning. On the day of, I can rule out that it was in fact, Jack In the Box that made me sick, because I only ate oatmeal before hand and nothing else. My girlfriend ate the same oatmeal and was fine (she didn't eat Jack In the Box), but maybe 4 hours after eating here I was spewing out both ends. My girlfriend also had also been sharing drinks with me, I write this a few days later ruling out any kind of contagious flu based illness. DO NOT EAT HERE! read more

Fast and friendly service. Food was super fresh! Just be careful when getting into and out of the area onto the freeway for its real busy.

No Customer Service Skills whatsoever!!! Crew members and Shift Leaders REALLY NEED TO WORK ON CUSTOMER SKILLS! Went to the drive thru at 9pm on a Friday, only 1 car in front of me. Ordered a munchie meal, bacon cheddar wedges, tacos and a kids meal. The cashier was very polite and efficient, and my order was completely correct. The fries were a little underdone and soggy, and only 1 side of my sourdough burger was grilled. But only 5 minutes in the drive-thru+very courteous service+correct order+tasty food = satisfied customer who will be back soon! read more

It seems like these guys take pride in messing up orders I gave them one last chance today and they messed up the three orders in front of me and gave the wrong food to the wrong person I actually got the food that I wanted but it was not how I ordered it this is the only Jack in the Box on the entire Island I have trouble with all the others seem to do a great job read more

This is undoubtedly a very good restaurant. Without a doubt the french fries are better by an order of magnitude than McDonald's they are crispy crunchy and very tasty. The basic hamburger is also better than McDonald's offers. comes with a bun tomato lettuce onion mayo pickle and a very good burger. And it is very well put together. At McDonald's you might get anything with the barn sliding off into the package somewhere. The servers are very courteous And immediately pay attention to when you arrive at the speakerphone. I always go to Jack in the box for my fries. I will occasionally go to McDonald's to get the big Mac but then I always go back to Jack-in-the-Box to get the fries. read more

I love Jack in the Box. I was so happy to see them take over the old KFC. The first few months of the opening was rough. Slow, slow, slow but I could understand that things are new. I had burgers made wrong, they had forgotten drinks and food when I went through the drive through. They forget to say thank you and sometimes they ignore you when you're at the counter. Well, by now they should have their things together...right? Nope. Still the slowest Jack in town. I just had my coffee and it was coffee flavored water. I have called and complained in the past but I just give up. Too many mistakes. Now I'm looking forward to what will take over that spot. I don't think Jack will last another year. read more

This is one of the worse places to eat. The Customer service sucks and the food takes forever to get. They pay 90% attention on their drive through than the walk in customers. On the average, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get your order. I will be making a super huge complaint to their corporate office on the behavior of the staff. When I walked up to the counter and said " Where are order, you have hungry customer here" after waiting 40 minutes. The staff laughed??? they actually thought that that was funny??? Having customers wait is funny to them? After the manager finally gave us our food, no apology? This store either needs to fire the manager and some of the workers or retrain them. Just ate at the Jack in the Box in Niu Valley. Ordered the buttery Jack Classic Burger. It was terrible. It has some special sauce in it that I didn't care for and the Bun was rubbery. But the biggest thing I didn't like was someone switched the diet coke container with regular coke. I couldn't tell the difference until I was driving home because while eating the burger and onion rings, it masked the taste of the regular coke. However, I am diabetic and by the time I reached Lunalilo Home Road, I could feel my forehead starting to buzz from the Hyperglycimia (high blood sugar level). When I got home, my blood sugar was 325 from drinking three small cups of regular coke at the diner. I tried to call Jack in the box Niu Valley to make them aware of the error but the phone listed on yelp and on the Jack in the Box directory was wrong (disconnected). I went to jack in the box for the first time yesterday. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. When I ordered my chick. Nuggets I thought they would be at the same quality or better than McDonald's but it looks horrible and greasy. The only thing I liked about this jack in the box was that it was super clean.
