The car in front of us took a while to leave--probably checking their order--and when it was our turn, the staff asked us to reverse and move forward again due to a sensor issue. This time the chicken strips were obviously cooked before hand and then thrown back in the grease to heat up, The grilled chicken sandwich the bread was all soggy. That Yelp is even forcing me to give these morons a single star is doing a great disservice to Yelpers everywhere. This is supposed to be a 24-hour drive thru. Having had a long day of travel, I came to this drive thru at around 4am before I went home; it was the second drive thru I went to because the first one had issues, so I was already a little ticked off. I hadn't eaten in a while and really just wanted to sink my teeth in a burger and call it a night. I was the only person there so I drove up to the drive thru speaker with ease. I didn't expect anyone to answer me immediately because it was so early in the morning, but you'd think someone would be paying attention, right? Nope. I sat there for a solid minute before I yelled "hello?" into the speaker. No response. Another minute went by and two cars had lined up behind me. I yelled "hello?" two more times and got no response. So I drove up to the window since I figured that someone could take my order there. I looked inside and didn't see anyone in there. I then knocked on the window and waited a few seconds, but no one came to the window. I then got out of my car and knocked on the window harder; only then did someone poke their head around the corner. I didn't give the person a chance to explain the situation and take my order, because why should I? Working at Jack in the Box at 4am has to be the easiest job on the planet. Responding to one customer is *literally* the bare minimum, and they couldn't even do that. They wasted my time with their poor service, and I left hungry and frustrated because of it. I think it goes without saying that I was pretty ticked off by that point, and even if I hadn't driven off, it's unlikely I would've given them any money anyway. Why would I waste my money on a chain that can't respect me as a customer? I've lived in the area for over a decade and this is the first time I've been to this Jack in the Box. Very disappointed. Nobody can resist the tacos at Jack in the Box - especially when this is the last place open after some drinks nearby. Few will admit they like em but it is many a persons guilty pleasure these tacos. Unlike the better and more expensive stuff next door and kitty corner at Wild Wings here you can feel like a hot shot and pay for all your friends - the whole group. This particular location worse than some. Last time I was in almost all the sodas were out of order and dining room more messy than expected. It was Jumpin Jack Splash or water. I remember there was no upselling by the cashier either which was odd. Usually they encourage to sell medium or large and extra for curly fries rather than just a small with the less expensive plain fries. Oh Jack in the Crack, I haven't been to you in ages, its all my friend's fault that we came here around 11pm on a Wednesday night, he was hungry and we didn't feel like going all the way down to In and Out. Granted my friends and I come here at really late hours in the night and the drive-thru has a great view of the back entrance to a dive bar.... but the location seems kind of sketchy and low-rent... Our order got messed up when we ordered two simple milkshakes with no whip cream and no cherry... both came out with whip cream and a cherry.... We had the most awful food from this location yesterday night (Friday, 11/16/18). I had a Bacon & Swiss Buttery burger and Onion Rings. The burger seemed like it had sat warming for a while! This location deserves zero stars, and everyone that works here should be fired. I came in a few weeks ago to buy some food. They took my order with little difficulty besides the cashier having a soft voice. I sat down, and I could hear them talking about me. Loudly, and negatively. One of them pretending the check the ice machine, and upon going back behind the counter said "Yeah, he's right there behind the pillar." They proceeded to call me retarded, say that they'd never hire me (I was there to eat, not for a job), and that I'm unhireable (who are they to make that determination?) I got my food, sat down for less than thirty seconds before I was back at the counter demanding a refund. One of the hispanic males (I'm sure race had to do with his negative attitude) REFUSED to refund my money. He, and another young employee proceeded to gaslight me, acting as if I was in the wrong for not wanting my food after listeninh to them badmouth me while preparing my food. I took maybe two sips of my drink, and ate none of the food. He proceeded to argue with me for close to ten minutes while the shift leader went to call the GM for advise. Which is silly because all customers are entitled to a refund within certain limits. Finally the shift leader came from the back office, and gave me my refund. No apology for her rude loudmouthed employees, though. I took one look at the hispanic male who argued with me the entire time, and told him "the fact that you refused to return my money, and insisted I eat the food just confirms that my suspicion that you spit in my food." I can't believe I have never written a review for this location. (Love when reviews start this way) I rarely get fast food, but when i do I love the Box. 2 tacos for 99 cents? Awesome! I really appreciate the self service kiosk inside the restaurant. Whenever they have the Bonus Jack available, I get my Jack on. This location is always fast and very courteous. The tacos are always crispy and fresh tasting. For fast food, it is a good bargain. Coupons are often put into the local paper. Just one thing: Please keep Bonus Jacks.
