I ordered the $3 curly fries with cheese and their $1 value menu chicken sandwich on Dec 20 @ 6:30pm. The guy(with a spanish accent) said that my total is $9 and I was wondering why it's $9. The guy immediately gave me an attitude and saying "it's the same, total is $9" and I calmly wanted him to break down the orders and how much each cost and he rudely said that the total is $9 in a very loud voice. Good thing the lady on the window fixed it. I don't want to generalize the whole staff but that specific worker needs to properly trained. Unprofessionalism and being rude to customer just ruins the restaurant's reputation and customer's day. read more

I came to the drive through at 11pm during open hours and no one was there to take my order. I waited 10 minutes and continued to try to speak to the speaker and no one answered. This was the worst experience i have had at a fast food establishment. We pulled up and started our order took them 3 times to redo our order. Not our fault. We finally got our order in then we pulled up to pay and it was a different price. We ordered a breakfast platter, a #8, #15, and 6 tacos. The worker refused to give us any ranch for our food. I can only speak of the daytime, but it's pretty good, as fast food and Jack in the Box goes. My only requirements are that my order is correct, service is relatively fast and painless, and the food is piping hot. Check, check, check. This franchise has been here for a very long time, at least since I can remember (20+ yrs). They're typically good. My usual order: chicken fajita, teriyaki chicken bowl, or fish sandwich. My husband works nights, so this place has always been convenient for the late snack. We haven't really had any experience indoors at this location. The wait can be a little long for a drive thru on weekend nights when lots of folks are out late. Can't say we were ever left disappointed though. read more

My last visit 12/9/17 at 11am. Clearly short staffed, which happens, so I didn't mind the wait and the really messy drink station until I saw one of the cooks coming to the counter to chat with a friend while there was such a backup of orders (did not appear to be her break time). If I could give 0 stars I would, for this reason: this same cook went to the ladies room wearing her food service gloves. She came back out several minutes later with the same gloves on and went right back to cooking without putting on new gloves. Major Health Code violation. Those gloves are not for her benefit, they are for ours. To keep a clean surface between the food service staff and the food so that it isn't contaminated. Just went to Jack in the box on North Livermore they're doing excellent Sanitary practices they only have the drive-through open they are using gloves they're changing the gloves after each different thing they touch their wiping things down it's good to see that you're doing everything the way they're supposed. I have been to a few different Jack in the Boxes when I've been out to visit my family in Cali and I've always liked this location a lot. The food is what you expect - and it tastes pretty good for a fast food place. My only complaint is that Jack needs to get his butt over to the east coast!!! read more

This place should be avoided unless you want to be treated poorly. I stood at line at the counter waiting to place my order, after 7 minutes the drive through line had no one else in line then they took my order. I understand being short handed, I understand being flooded with customers, I don't understand watching cars pull up in the drive through and served first solely because they are in a car. The worse part was that at no time did they have the decency to say I will be right with you. It was almost as if I don't talk to you maybe you will disappear. Jack in the box is awesome and skip the one on North Livermore that one is weird but the one on First Street is just awesome! Especially at night, the night manager his name is Josh and he is the BEST! He is funny and keeps his team moving at a good pace, he always gets my order done right, and the thing is, I always get enough of what I need condiments, napkins, some places like mcdonalds forget the napkins and I'm sorry when you're always on the move they're vital to a fast food meal keep up the good work!!! read more

It's a fast food restaurant, so I don't expect too much. When I went up to the counter to order my food, there were two women by the register unpacking goods from boxes right on the counter and preparing to put them away. It took about 5 minutes until one of them asked what I wanted. There was nobody else waiting for food or waiting to order, so it's not like the place was busy. read more

I don't usually write fast food reviews... But!! I get breakfast here maybe once a week and it's always sufficient. I just wanted to mention a few things due to my unhappiness with my visit today. One, the annoying kid who used to work at Taco Bell (I'm assuming he got fired from Taco Bell due to his annoyingness and lack of ability to act normal) now he works at this Jack. He likes to scream your order back at you as fast as he can (even when it's not busy) and then throw your food practically out the window at you. When I saw this kid working here, because of how much he's annoyed me in the past at Taco Bell, that was enough for me to consider not coming here anymore! Another thing, I just ordered the "hot mess" burger. Key word in there is "mess", thanks annoying kid for not considering that I might need a napkin.....not a single napkin in the bag! The burger was good. Doesn't look so good on my clothes though! Also, the "hot mess fries" were good too....except the kid put them in the bag sideways so all of the sauce dropped out of the box and onto my burger wrapper. Awesome! Not! I'm Working in the area I have came here a few times to grab a quick bite, restroom is clean! Overall restaurant is clean, food is always hot and fresh, only complaints are that this place is a lil smaller than most, and that if you don't know the area, as you coming down the street, there is no noticeable sign that reads "jack in the box"! I have tried this Jack in the Box twice. The first time was about 2 weeks ago. I went inside to order an early lunch. There was another customer in front of me waiting to order. After 2-3 mins without being acknowledged he walked out. I waited another 5 mins , again without being waited on or even spoke to. I gave up and left. Today I went in thinking I would give it another shot. The dining room was swarming with flies. Of course I didn't know it until I sat down. I've been going to this Jack in the Box for a long time, and the service I've had has always been pretty good. It's fairly clean and the orders go by pretty fast. It's open late and it's in a convenient location. It has bad days like most fast food places but overall, its good. I couldn't comment on the food much, presumably most people reading this have already an idea of what Jack's food is like. I try not to eat it these days but if you ever went to a fast food place and asked, "What if they added a ton more pepper?" this is your answer. read more

I really dislike repeating myself more than twice when ordering a meal. That seems to be what I have to do when getting food from here along with yelling loud enough for the cars behind me and the the patrons at the bar next door to hear what I want at 0001hrs. Looked up there menu online to see ahead of time what they had I went through the drive thru and ordered two things that I saw online the teriyaki chicken bowl and was told they have been out of it for long time. Then ordered Blt cheeseburger and was told they have never had it was on the local menu online. I then asked what kind of salads they had and they were very short and rude when they told me. If I could give this place -7 stars I would. All because of the 'manager'/night drive through person Jain Carlos. He is so unwelcoming and honestly just an ass. He is always pissed off and just plain arrogant whenever he works. I live near this location and I work in a restaurant that goes late.. this is usually the only place open when I want hot fresh food. He literally in the 100+ times I've been there, has NEVER gotten my food right and tonight was just the the last damn straw. My sister who is airforce personal visiting from Texas. She asked if they had a military discount because she knew they have it in Texas.. this worthless piece of nothing had the nerve to tell her that their "military discount machine wasn't working". Honestly!? If you're trying to be inhospitable at least use and excuse that could possibly make sense. On top of that he was rude as all hell.. my cousins 7 price jalapeño poppers only came with 5.. my order of tacos only came with 1 and my unsalted fries which I made sure to triple check with him that they were unsalted and he said they were came cold and extra salted. Honesntly, I didn't like this Jack in the Crack before. They always got my order wrong, always forgot a taco, or forgot my side of ranch. Only good that ever came out of that was I got 2 extra tacos for free before, lawl. However, they are currently under new management, it would seem.
