Long wait, expensive, and poor portioning. Would not recommend. I came a couple nights ago by recommendation of the algorithm on my social media and what not. Never again will i listen to a non-human! Let me first start off by saying, i love me my quesadillas. It's my go to mexican food. My staple, the good ol' reliable. Not tacos, not burritos. The mighty legendary quesadilla. How can you mess up a quesadilla with meat? Well it's possible here at Tacos Mil Delicias. It all started with the price tag. $15 dollars for a quesadilla, thats before tax. I thought to myself, okay, it's going to be at least mildly big or beefy. Nope and nope. This thing was thinner than a Taco Bell quesadilla and smaller than the usual size flour tortilla for a menu item like this at other Mexican taco trucks. All this while waiting in the cold for what felt to be longer than 15 minutes. Unacceptable. They did have some chairs next to their truck and it looked decently clean, but i thought it wouldn't take that long and is the reason why i stayed standing. Wrong. I didn't give it one star because the quesadilla did not taste bad. Regardless, for that amount of money, it's best spent elsewhere. read more

Went here for some tacos, their horchata tasted like it was old. We didn't make a big deal out of it or tell the manager we just asked if we can switch and get a new drink because we didn't like it. The manager was completely unprofessional and rude about it. Yelling and talking aggressive with her hands. Then when I get home to eat my tacos. There is barely any meat and the limes were super dry. Would not come here again definitely wouldn't recommend. Manager needs to learn some common decency with customers. read more

Just finished eating here today and the pastor taco plate we ordered was just meh and the one bag of chips my Husband and I had to share. We've definitely had better and at a reasonable and fair price too. Our gripe...the two taco plate is listed for $14, long story short my Husband and I ordered two of the same thing and two drinks our bill seemed a little high at $44 and the math wasn't adding up, so we asked and the two taco plate per the manager is $16 even though that's not what is posted on their menu. He apologized, said sorry and doesn't know why it wasn't changed, nevertheless this really rubbed us the wrong way because as a business he should have honored the posted price and updated his menu right away. Poor business model and we won't be returning ever again. And how many people has he done this too? Be sure to check your bill. read more

As a San Jose native, I'm spoiled. I'm used to some of the finest Mexican food there is in the Bay Area. I recently moved to Livermore. This place stacks up close to my home town favorites. I have sampled a few other taquerias in the area. None of them hit like this one does. There is a wide variety of options on the menu, and they're open late. Fast service, chill outdoor seating which is nice. I'd like to see a brick and mortar version of this place in Livermore like they have in San Jose. It deserves it. read more

I just went to this place that was recommended to me from a friend and got a super burrito with extra meat and extra cheese.. The staff seemed super friendly, but also very one languaged with certain customers. The previous yelper under me is correct. I frequently use yelp and I was looking at the previous reviews and I saw them say that they charged her $2 more per plate and she I went I was suspicious about that so I paid attention when I was order and paying. Maybe an innocent mistake I thought so let's give them a try... I got a carnitas sope for $8 and a regular steak taco for $4. That's $12 before taxes. When I was paying it was $14.33 and I was like hm that's odd... and I was like maybe it's the taxes and she goes yeah it's taxes but I know how much tax is and that's still more... but I paid because I'm not going to make a fuss about a dollar. When I looked at my receipt and she put in a custom amount of $13 so it's true they are charging people incorrectly!! I don't care about the dollar but it is the principle!! If they are doing that to every customer which it seems as though they are since they did it to another customer and I a few hours apart on the same day that's a big profit overtime and it's also illegal... they claimed in the previous person's yelp review that the menu price was wrong but looked at the menu outside and the menu inside their truck and they were both accurate for what I ordered so they are scamming.. Hands down THE best Mexican food in Livermore! We've even hired them for catering at my work. Arturo is one of the nicest guys, and his whole family is great. They get everything right, and I've gotten their food at least 50 times. Everything is amazing! I have slowly watched them update their spot from just a parking lot spot to a well maintained place to eat with bench tables, EZ-Ups, artificial turf, etc. I've seen Arturo and his family pick up trash and pull weeds in the area multiple times after they've been open for 12+ hours. I asked for a bag of chips and they gave me a small bag, perfect. Then I politely asked for one more and they said no, only one bag per order. That's fine except I ordered enough food for 4 people. OK guys so listen I was excited to order tacos because it was a spot that was opened up a little bit late and it delivered on Postmates so I ordered Birria tacos and two El Pastore tacos. I didn't like birria too much so I just ate the El Pastore.
