What happened to this location? The food used to be good and the workers used to be nice. Now a days the food looks and taste gross and the workers are like "Eh", about working there. We waited a LONG time for our order and we were the only ones there, so we expected our food to be hot and fresh since we waited so long, but no. I ordered the Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club, and a medium size. This is how my burger looked and they barely put any fries in there. Also side note, their egg rolls used to be SO good, now they taste like trash. My Aunt and Uncle went last night and experienced pretty much the same thing we did. We stopped here on the way back from a road trip to Arizona. The service was timely and our orders came as expected. I ordered a small side salad with southwest dressing and was pleasantly surprised with the taste, considering salads are not the primary meal served at fast food restaurants. I also ordered 2 tacos without cheese and thought the taste was decent. 2 of my friends ordered the fish sandwich meals and said the sandwiches tasted OK. My other friend ordered 6 of the 2 tacos and enjoyed them, partly for the nostalgia but also partly for taste. Overall, a decent Jack and the Box! read more

The other night at around 11:30 pm I went through the drive-thru I ordered a large order which consisted of a #11 Sourdough grilled chicken sandwich with a large curly fry and a large lemonade... I also ordered two Jumbo Jacks and 2 orders of tacos... I spent $20.19 Unfortunately more than half the food was not up to par and I let JackListens.com know about the terrible food... (the drive thru attendant was great) anyways I told jack that the grilled chicken and lemonade were fine the problem was with everything else... first my Large Curly fries were like the left overs in the bin a mixture of regular fries and curly fries unfortunately the curly fries i did receive were so old and crunchy you might as well have called them chips and with the amount of regular fries definitely not what I ordered... moving on to my jumbo jacks that were anything but jumbo the meat was so thin and dry on the first one that it was on the repulsive side and the second one was missing a third of the patty was cook and served this way and was still as thin and dry as the first... and the tacos were cold not ok especially after the long wait... Anyways I let JackListens.com know that it was my intention to review on yelp and google... that got the franchise owners attention (Mary I believe) I recieved multiple calls from her one of which I returned where she seemed apologetic offering to replace the food but needed to know when I'd be in for her to be able to have a manager there to take care of my order... let me tell you I was in no rush to schedule a time to go back so I told her I'd call her and let her know... then at the end of the call she started telling me off about say that I was going to leave reviews on yelp and google saying that it wouldn't help anything... From speaking to the employee on the microphone/speaker system (she was a pro, listened to everything, never asked a follow up bc she cheerfully got it right the first time, thankyouverymuch) to the money taking process everything ran smoothly. As I waited for what I later would find out to be the freshest, nicest presented food I've ever had at a Jack in the Box, I watched as employees inside did side work, pulling out appliances and putting their wash rag to good use. The buttery jack wasn't made correctly. I asked for no katsup. It has katsup. The spicy Sriracha was just gross. The bread was old and stale. The patty was so small, roughly half the size of the bun, and the cheese practically nonexistent. When I went back to have the spicy Sriracha fixed, the manager on duty argued with me. He wouldn't give me his name. He was male with black short hair. He told he there was nothing they could do and there was nothing wrong with stale bread as it was toasted anyway. He wouldn't remake the sandwich, trade it for a different one, or simply give me a different bun. read more

Right off I-40, signs posted, easy to find. 5 stars. 2. Parking. There is sufficient parking and it is easy to get in and out. 5 stars. 3. Appearance of Restaurant. It was very clean, and an employee (very nice lady) was mopping as we approached the register. I apologized for walking on her freshly mopped floor and she said it was no problem. 5 stars. 4. Friendliness of staff. The employee at the register was very nice, too. Hubby and I only interacted with the two ladies and both were very nice. 5 stars. 5. Speed of Order. The food was freshly prepared and out to us timely. We wanted to get back on the road trip quickly, and they did not disappoint! 5 stars. 6. Accuracy of Order. Everything we ordered was on point! 7. Quality of Food. I was not sure I wanted to stop at JB, as the one near where we live has disappointed us several times; to the point, I will no longer go there. Hubby ordered a chicken sandwich. He thought it was good but likes a competitors chicken sandwich better. The chicken nuggets were about what we get elsewhere. The mini churros were SO good! 4 stars. 8. Bathrooms. Terrible. Vile, actually. An acquaintance who is into fast food tacos recommended I try JITB tacos. I got a couple tacos at this location and they were terrible. I wouldnt feed these taco atrocities to a stray dog. I wouldnt torture a desert coyote with scraps of these abominations JITB calls tacos. I wouldnt feed these tacos to a homeless person AND if I was homeless, I would rather die and have my corpse end up in a storm drain rather than eat JITB tacos. The meat was fluffy and white-ish colored in spots. Meat should be meat colored and the consistency should never be able to be perceived as fluffy. No fluffy sensations should be up in your mouth when you eat a taco. Two stars instead of one because of friendly staff and quick preparation. read more

I am not a fast food person and J in B is my prefered go to drive thru. I got the wacky w breakfast, not liking it very much. You would think that the millions "Jack" spent on this creation it would have been much better. Also tried the diet fruit lemonade? Not sure what it was, didn't like it either. As I have said in other reviews, it really pains me to review fast food chains. This place deserves a thumbs up though. I "dine" here at least once a week on my way into work and beyond the fact that they are the only place open at 0500, they are always incredibly friendly and the service is great! The food is standard Jack In the Box... nothing special, nothing terrible. With fast food you should know what to expect when you arrive, surprises are not a good thing. The food should not be unusually good or bad because everything is pre-frozen, pre-packaged. This Jack hits the mark on consistency though. The graveyard people (assuming that is who works the early morning hours) are always friendly, fast and polite. Another nice part of this establishment is they are one of the only ones that don't screw you on price because you are in the middle of nowhere. Every other place off I-40 in this desolate town adds at least 20% to regular menu prices as a kind of starvation tax. Great work by the crew, definitely a safe place to eat in the middle of the desert! read more

Recently and newly renovated. Excellent customer service. You obviously can't expect it to be like a 5 Star restaurant when it's fast food. It's fast food because service is quick for people who just want a quick bite. And when people complain about any fast food chain should understand this, they aren't purposely trying to mess up your order. People make mistakes. I left my purse at this Jack. I just got it back, untouched! Left it on Saturday and got it back Wednesday. Would have been sooner but it was over a weekend. The staff there made sure it was safe until FedEx picked it up for me. I was 4 hours away when I realized I had left it and I live about 8 hours from there. My belief in good humans being around continues! Thank you soooo much to this JB and the managers and staff! Amazing!
