This jack in the box joint is more clean than the other jack in the box locations. However they do take awhile for in store orders. With any fast food there is never a genuine satisfaction. I would recommend the munchie meal for $6 which is pretty darn good at late night hours (they serve if all day). I would never rate a fast food chain, let alone give them a five star rating but this particular locations deserves it! The food is consistently good. I tend to alter everything I order and they truly listen. I have never had my order messed up. Another big plus is the staff is always very friendly and always seems happy to be there. I got nothing to complain about this Jack in the Box. Honestly the best one I've ever been to! The staff is very friendly, finally a fast food place where the workers don't seem sick of their lives. Their service was much better than expected and it didn't take hours just to make a couple of burgers. Last night we got hungry and decided to grub on some Jack in the Box thanks to their expedient location we were able to fulfill our craving. There's nothing better than 12 am munchies. Best Jack in the Box out there. Seriously, I drive to this location probably 1-3 times/month and the guys there (usually drivethrough but inside as well) are always the FRIENDLIEST and always seem so happy and grateful to have their jobs. It's so refreshing to see that in fast food establishments. They always put a smile on my face. ANNND the food is always yummy. The few times that I have gone inside to eat, the tables could have definitely been wiped down more frequently because there was never a clean table, but everything else makes up for it. I rarely make comments on fast food restaurants and never on drive through but on Friday night I ordered the sourdough grilled chicken sandwich & a coke. The coke was fine but the first thing I noticed about the sandwich was the wilted lettuce. The next thing I noticed was how much gristle was on the chicken and in my mouth and then - gag - I realized the chicken hadn't even been cooked through. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant drive-through. Once I realized I had a sandwich of uncooked chicken, I just threw it in the trash. read more

I am writing this review more for entertainment purposes, because let's not forget this is fast food we are talking about; mediocre fast food at that. I haven't deigned to eat here in over a decade. In a moment of weakness I popped in and attempted to order their new Rib Eye sandwich. I deserve what follows because I chose to enter a fast food joint that has killed children in the past. I order this picture perfect sandwich, which shows onions, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and maybe Rib Eye? When I get my receipt it shows two extra charges for onions and lettuce. What? Why are you charging me 40 cents more for items that come on the sandwich. This is a common ploy nowadays from most corporations and always ends in massive class action lawsuits where the lawyers get rich and we get a free side of fries. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, the manager, Ray is right there and I ask him. He makes some comment that it is not on the sandwich I ordered and I need to pay. I show him the huge photo on his wall and he still argues about it with me. He should have apologized and shut me up with a free shake. However nowadays most American workers angry that their corporate overlords underpay them and work them like slaves take out their anger on their customers, whom I confess are a difficult and angry lot themselves. Since he won't reverse those charges I cancel the order and he gleefully credits my bill and sends me on my way. Wherein I then pop over to Whole Foods and get a better rib eye sandwich for less. Why is it that most food places act like a doctor who is the only surgeon in the state that can save your life at that moment? It's a tough industry, mistakes happen, people get angry, but amateurs like Ray could care less if they upset the customers and happily send them off to their competitors. The worse part is that his corporate overlords offered a canned apology with no invitation to come back and maybe try their Rib Eye on the house. Why? Because Jack in the Box could not care less if you eat here or not. My family and I will oblige them and always eat elsewhere. read more

There's been so many times that I left this place infuriated because of the bald short Hispanic employee. I have avoided coming to this jack in the box for months now and have gone to the one on reseda instead. I finally go back today and nothing has changed; he is still extremely rude. First he greets us by saying "give me a second" We put in our order. And we repeat it exactly 3 times. We get to the window. My boyfriend asks "how are you doing tonight?" He says "two tacos." My boyfriend confirms his order that does include two tacos and he just walks away. He comes back and asks for the 4th time "curly fries or regular" we say "regular" he hands us our food with no receipt (if I had a receipt I would have done the survey) we drive up and look into the bag and I say "he gave you curly didn't he.." Which of course he did. He also didn't give us a straw. Normally, this isn't an issue, but if someone's rude to you and the same issue happens over and over again -- that is just unacceptable. Who knows, the asshole could have spit in our food. I'm definitely not going back there after this review. I have never been so unsatisfied with a fast food restaurant as I have been with this one: worst part is i went several days ago in the daytime because I knew he was not working and had great customer service from two younger employees. I arrived at the drive through 10 minutes before they closed (1:50 am). They said nothing on the intercom for 4 minutes, though I gave them time since I needed to choose my order anyway. I realized they either didn't realize I was there, or they just decided to ignore me. I pulled up to the window to order and he said they were closed. I argued with the short, bald man who acted as the manager whom I think K.Z. was describing in the review above. We disagreed, as I did not believe it was ok to leave your open sign on, ignore me for 4 minutes, and also have a sign posted right on the drive-thru window saying their hours (which I pointed to right in his face for reference). If you need to close early, post an earlier closing time. If I had known they would ignore me for 10 minutes then close on me, I would have driven a completely different direction after work to go to one of the only other late open places around between me and home. I have to say when it comes to breakfast items Jack-in-the-Box tends to exceed every other drive-through menu out there including McDonald's. This particular location has a young gentleman at the drive-through who is always so nice and just is sweet. I know this may not seem like a big deal to most people reading this review however, if you really pay attention to drive through etiquette most people just want to get you in and out don't bother to ask if we need napkins or catch up I don't really think happy to be doing the type of job they do which is understandable. Regardless I don't feel that that kind of attitude needs to be passed over to the customer. We all do have a choice as to what type of jobs we would like to get it. Anyway back to the young gentleman, I don't recall his name but I always remember how nice he is towards me and everyone else in the car he always acknowledges everyone who he can see. My order was pretty simple 2 hashbrowns and 2 orange juices nothing out of the ordinary he asked if I needed more napkins and a specific amount of ketchup i mean really thank you your job is so simple but the fact that you go out of your way for your customers makes me want to come back. read more

The one star review is for the manager I'm sure the crew is just your average fast food crew... mistakes happen I come to find out more often times than not but it's how they deal with it after that.... I kept explaining over the phone how they messed up my order and she kept telling me she was sorry I felt that way. I kept having to explain to her that they're messing up my food wasn't a feeling it was a statement.. When I got there with my receipt she tried making it seem as though it was my fault for not realizing that it was a few dollars more than it should have been!!!! I had to explain to her that I swiped my card and didn't even really realize what the price was.... excuse me if people come to Jack in the Box stoned at night for the stoner meals....
