Receipt proving how costly this coffeehouse is
    Gail B.

I discovered this coffee brewery a few years ago on a Sunday drive to the Hamptons. The coffee in this store is organic. This morning, for the first-time, I ordered the ice Saffron Latte, which is made from fresh saffron. What a clever way to use the spice, which is mostly used for yellow rice. I also purchased some bottled, Green Vitality vegetable juice; and some Green Fermented Seed Crisps, made by Moon Juice. Total price for the three: $26. Pricey, but I expected that for a coffeehouse in Amagansett. There are baked goods available as well. However, I find them mediocre compared to some other Hampton bakeries, such as Levain and Tate's Bake Shop. Jack's also has a rewards program and an Instagram page. Parking is plentiful on the street. The coffeehouse may be expensive, but it is worth giving a try.

Iced decaf latte with oat milk

Stopped in real quick for an iced latte. Loved that it was organic/ fair trade and they had almond and oat milk offered. I also picked up a packaged paleo chocolate chip cookie and am excited to try that! A bit pricey (more than $11 for both) but I supposed that's to be expected for the location and presumable quality. The girl taking my order did some thing I hate where they don't greet you at all, they just stare at you until you guess that they are ready to take your order (seriously HATE that). So a bit of customer service would be nice. But otherwise a nice stop.

Bag of food and 2 coffees.

Great coffee and the seating out back is relaxing. It does get crowded during summer

I love a happy jack in the morning. So thankful this is out here in the Hamptons too. Service is quick. Drinks are great. Cute little store.

Service was horrible and it seems like everyone is very "spaced out" working. They forgot to give me my croissant.

Everyone who works there is friendly and inviting, and even gave us a cute little amuse to start the night and the buckwheat shortbread to end. Here's everything we ordered: Agnolotti stuffed with tofu ricotta, with English peas, bacon, and a savory broth (my entree, I loved this - the broth was quite salty but the peas added a lovely freshness) Fazzoletti e funghi: local blue oyster mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce ‍ (my Mom's entree, also delicious and so umami) "Ivy rose" mocktail with grapefruit, prickly pear, and limeade (delightful!) Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect. Foglia burger: house burger patty, tomato jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onions, pickles, onion ring, housemade focaccia, and spicy agave parsnip fries (my dad's entree and to my delight he really enjoyed it!) Dessert: a gigantic slice of tiramisu (my favorite cake!). This was a huge slab, enough to share and have some leftover for breakfast. A little on the dry side for tiramisu but still really nice. Foglia is such a gem and we had a great time in Bristol, it's a beautiful town. The restaurant is small and cozy but was not too busy when we went. I highly recommend Foglia for a special occasion!

A true hidden gem--one that deserves to stick around…read more We've been here a few times, but this was our first experience with the tasting menu (with wine pairing), and it really elevated everything. Advertised a 5 courses - we counted seven. The evening unfolded at a perfect pace over a relaxed two-plus hours, with attentive, knowledgeable service that never felt rushed. While we're not typically focused on vegetarian cuisine, every course was thoughtful, flavorful, and satisfying. The appetizer and pasta courses were standouts--creative, beautifully executed, and memorable. The wine pairings were spot-on and complemented each dish seamlessly. Restaurants like this only survive if diners seek them out and return--so whether it's your first visit or your fifth, it's well worth it. The chef/owner was nominated for a James Beard Award a few years ago, and the talent is evident in every course. Total with tip was about $370--very fair for the quality and experience.
