We are out of town residents for the summer and found Jack's pizza. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted by Bradley. He was personable and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the "Big LU'Bowski pizza , which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a pasta dish, Sausage Marinara, which also was very good. Definitely would return to Jack's as the food was delicious and the service we received from Bradley was excellent. We will definitely be returning as long as we are visiting Logan. read more

It tasted pretty good-wasn't my favorite, but wasn't bad either. Service wasn't very good. Wasn't welcomed, everyone was acting sleepy, the gal took our order, came back once to see if everything was ok, but then had to ask another gal for the check, because our gal wasn't around after that. Disappointed in the service. Upon entering we stood for several minutes before being greeted or acknowledged. Finally the hosted took our name and we were seated in 10 minutes or so. After being seated we were ignored for 10 minutes or more while others who came in after us were served drinks and orders taken. Finally the hostess saw we were being ignored by wait staff brought us water and took our food order. If it weren't for her I don't know if we would have been served. She was very sweet and we gave her a nice tip. Food was ok. Ambiance was nice with guitarists providing music. read more

We loved this eatery. The only reason fir the 4 stars is... that we sat in the back if the restaurant and it was so dark. The menu has pizza, pastas, salads, kids menu, and several flavors of flat breads. Everyone at the table had something different. The Rocket Salad with huckleberry dressing, Asiago cheese, fresh raspberries and blueberries, arugula, etc., was the perfect opening for this family and friends dinner. The Alfredo Chicken pasta was huge and yummy. The Cozumel pizza is very unique and the variation of flavors, was very savory...making you want more. The Love Triangle pizza has bbq sauce cheese, huckleberry chicken, bacon red onion, peppadew paper, Slide Ridge honey, Parmesan and cilantro...very western and so good. The Pig and Peach pizza is a good combination of flavors, but the crust was a little too crunchy for my liking. It was more like a flat bread, than a pizza. The Margherita pizza has a lot of tomato sauce and hardly any cheese, it wasn't very robust with flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server anticipated our needs and was able to Reccomend some of her favorites(which was helpful, when you have six adults, and a large variety of entrees, to choose from). There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. This eatery is kid friendly, offers a great variety menu items, good value and portions. Thank you, to the staff of Jack's. I called about 20 minutes before closing. They said we could come in. So we did - came in about 15 minutes before closing. They kept us waiting for like 5 minutes before seating us. Then, they ran out of soup, they ran out of pasta, they ran out of iced tea. Our server/greeter was very unwelcoming and very annoyed. What a fun, unique pizza place! The menu is full of items that foodies live for. The thin crust pizza cooked in a wood fire oven is probably the best crust I've had on a pizza. Our family had the Cache pizza. Loved it. The Lyon bread was amazing! From start to finish we were impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The price was affordable and the service great. We visited on a Monday afternoon during the pandemic so there were many other guests out. I look forward to making it back to Logan to try more menu items. read more

Wood fire pizza always seems to be a gamble with me! I LOVE the crispy and crunchy crust--as long as it's not TOO crispy and crunchy and, well, burnt. But that was not the case here. It seems they have perfected the art of "perfect crispness" and my meal came to me with flying colors. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating was because I ordered the BBQ pizza with fresh pineapple--and it wasn't my favorite taste. BUT, my sister got the Chicken Avocado Calzone and boy oh boy! That was incredible. The decor is very different, but that's what makes it fun! Random strings of lights and photos, the seats and booths seem not to coordinate that well either, but honestly it was different and that made it fun. TIPS & TRICKS: * We couldn't find a place to park, so if you're meeting a big wig or a hot date there for dinner--make sure to arrive a couple extra minutes early so you can scour the parking in Logan. * Get the salad instead of the soup, I tried both and enjoyed the salad more. read more

We just got into Logan after a 8 hour drive and passed by this cute local joint. We read the reviews about the peach and the pig pizza and were a little skeptical but when in Rome ... we decided to give it a try. It was amazing just the right amount of sweet and savory! Fresh mozzarella, huckleberries, prosciutto and thyme finished with Chipotle peach syrup and Asiago all played delightful flavors in our mouth. Pizza crust is super thin which is what I like but some people say I like cheese on crackers. Haha I do !! Our waitress was really sweet too she made friendly conversation and was very attentive. 1-star dock due to long waits at times. If busy, just go to another place because I've stood at the entrance for 10 minutes without acknowledgement. Otherwise, if not too busy and/or the service is clicking (seated right away), then definitely recommend the pizza's. I've tried several pizzas here now, and none have disappointed. On occasion they'll have a good beer (rotation) to go with the pizza as well. I recommend the food, but be careful on timing of the service. Also, they have live music at times, which is nice as well. Get there early though (around 4-5pm), because it will be a full house. read more

Delicious! We tried the Pig and Peach pizza and the combination of salty proscuitto (sp?) and sweet peach syrup was just what our tastebuds wanted. We tried a Birds and the Bees also but the chicken was just a tad on the dry side so the P and P was definitely our favorite. We tried the gluten free crust - I usually don't do GR pizza at a pizza place because the cross contamination likelihood is so high but the server explained that they kept prepped them separately and kept the GR pizzas on trays in the oven so there would be no contact. 5 stars for food and server! One-off for the grumpy lady manager. Have repeatedly been addressed by one gal who I think might be a lead or manager and she is really abrupt and grumpy, said she would comp the bad cake and never did, etc. The short staffing issue really shows in her demeanor. I try to give grace for a taxing situation; she really needs some time to reset. We always enjoy the creative pizza combinations and the quality is good (except once served an inedible old expired cake that was sent back). The other staff - like Warren is fantastic! He came to our table quickly on a busy night, remembered my son's regular order, and was attentive with drinks and water while we had a long wait. The positives of this restaurant is that it's a super cute, casual, probably an excellent place to bring the kids or the whole family for dinner. They do woodfired pizza, and woodfired pastas. I can only comment on the pizza, we ordered one to share, and it was really just average. Not very good actually. The first couple bites of pizza are always delicious, but I think the truth comes out when the pizza starts to cool. The crust turned very hard, the cheese turned rubbery. I saw a lot of take out and I can imagine it's probably not great after semi cooling in a box. Great service from all of the staff, cute location, but really just average pizza. Jack's Wood Fired Oven is incredible! In my experience, Jacks has been the most highly recommend pizza place in Logan and has quickly gained a reputation of quality wood fire pizza. Their made from scratch dough is hard to beat! I've tasted the majority of the menu and have never been disappointed. My all-time favorite is, hands down, the Chuck Wagon pizza. Smoked pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and jalapenos make for a delicious pie that I have yet to find better. The service and atmosphere is also fantastic. I have never heard anything bad from the locals and would highly recommend Jacks to anyone looking for quality pizza. read more

I'm Italian, from the east coast, and put my time in in Federal Hill, but this might take the prize for best pizza I have ever encountered. Fire grilled to perfection. They do not overload the pizzas here like I encounter a lot back home, which then makes it difficult to support the toppings on a thin crust and you end up with bare pie and eat the toppings with a fork. Here the pizza can bear the load of its toppings. As far as the toppings, big ups for the peach and the pig, and the local berry pizza. read more

Anytime I'm visiting a new town I'm looking for Italian food. I saw Jack's on Yelp and decided to give them a try after seeing so many people flocking to this joint. We got there perfect timing on a Saturday afternoon, they were setting up tons of tables for reservations and these were huge parties of people. I was a bit disappointed because they had lasagna listed on the menu but are no longer offering it. We went with a build your own pizza and the crust was hand tossed with a new chew and crunch.
