If you're looking for the worst car wash in Phoenix , this is the place.........it's terrible

if you like to be harassed by people trying to up-sell you over and over again after repeatedly saying no, jackson's is the place to be! I was naive and bought into their $245 detail, when all I needed was my mats and seats cleaned. I didn't want exterior, and then they kept asking and gave me a managers discount and I stupidly agreed. I waited two hours with my toddler for a detail and they never even touched my car. No one ever gave me an estimated time. They make you pay before you even have the car cleaned so I felt stuck there with a tired and hungry kid. I finally asked if I could come back another day and took my car and left. I've tried reaching corporate and the actual store to demand a refund but I can't even get ahold of anyone. I didn't receive a service and I need a refund asap. read more

Got the VIP wash and an oil change. My dog is in the backseat of my car every day and I was looking to get the mud paws cleaned off. They did a really poor job, not sure how they could have missed that. read more

I am a monthly subscriber for the express wash and would never let anybody go into my car but despite previous feedback to management nothing NG is changing. Under new management (yet again) so I thought I'd give them another chance. It's one thing to upcharge me because I have dog hair in my car...It's fine. My car was filthy so I paid the $99.00. However, I was told 30 minutes. I thought - no prob. I have my computer so I'll just work. Nope - internet isn't strong enough. I go to the front desk to ask if there's a diff wifi I can use because this one isn't strong. They said "yeah -it's not strong". So here I am 45 min in, a sitting duck waiting...having to hot-spot w my phone to barely be able to get this review typed. Hoping my car is cleaner than the last two craptastic jobs this location has done. I go here because it's close. That's literally the only reason I keep throwing myself to the "can't really clean a car" wolves. It was great when it was Danny's yet has digressed over the years. If my car is clean, I'll let ya know. But if it's going to take this long...wifi needs to be stronger for people who multi task for work. read more

I went to get a 34.00 car wash and when I got my car back it looked like a streaky mess. The professionalism was there with the SALE they definitely up sold me but DID NOT DELIVER on the car wash I was "SOLD". I know it's hard to get quality workers but at least try to match your pricing with the quality of work if that means lowering prices so be it. PREDATORY. read more

Came in today and got the Ultimate Wash. What a of money and time...So sad that the Phoenix Suns deals with them. Car was finish and I look around and still had mark around the door and hood. Told the guy in the red shirt and just got attitude from him. I took pictures and ask for the manager. Was told there was none in duty at that time. costumer service was not that good, i just wanted a pretty basic wash, and for the price I payed it was not worth it, I had a bunch of bird poop that had been sitting for about a day, and they didn't even touch it. I also have a bed mat in my truck, and it flew out and they had no regard to it. read more

Jackson car wash do not know how to detail cars. If you come here it's probably because it's your last option. When you pull up and talk to the sales men( the worst ones) they lie about what services they are going to get for the price you pay. It's a waste of your time and your money. Plus your going to drive off in a half ass Job of a clean car. From ripping the customer off between the pricing if paying in person versus advance purchase (VIP in person early $24.99 if advanced purchased $29.99) to the POS who pretended to clean the mirrors, windshields, and interior Jackson's is a rip off. I took my car here for an oil change, I should've turned around immediately when the first thing the employee does is try and flirt with me. 2 other employees did the same thing. I love feeling uncomfortable in a super busy environment ( NOT ). It was early in the day, right when they opened so I thought it would be in n out to get an oil change. LOL NO. I waited over 3 hours, when they finally got to my car the employee says wow you've been waiting a while.... like no sh!t !!!! They they had the nerve to try and upsell me, maybe if you would've done it 2 hours ago you could've suckered me into paying for more. I will never set foot here again and ladies I would do the same. I have never felt more uncomfortable than I have at this Jackson's location. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Absolutely garbage. 1- paid for carpet seats and cleaning of plastic parts 2- seats were not done 3- carpet was not done / manager said my truck wasn't dirty so they didn't need to soak it. ( it was never touched with water). 4 - 3.5 hours to clean the inside of my truck. 5- customer service is dead. 6- 10/07/2019 12:30 start. Truck back 4:00. Not complete. This will be my recommendation to anybody I know and happen to see , do NOT use this place Jackson's family car wash. Got an oil change and a car wash on my lunch break super fast and great customer service.

I came in on Friday, which was my only day off to get a full detail and oil change. I knew this was going to be expensive and it was going to take a while but I didn't mind. I was told 3 hours but I knew better, I picked up my car about 5-6 hours later. I trusted that they did they job right, after all, I paid $400 for it. I made it home just to realize that my car looks exactly the same on the inside, practically untouched. Maybe a wipe down, if we're being generous. But I get it, things slip through the cracks. I call the next morning, let them know. They tell me to bring it in. Now today is Saturday and I work, so not only do I have to take 2 Ubers to pick up and drop off my car (about $70) I also have to leave work twice, during my shift. But again, it's okay, I drop off my car they agree with me and say this definitely does not look like it's been cleaned. Leave it for an hour and come back. I call after 4 hours, pick it up then. I'm in a hurry to get back to work and I trust that they probably got it right the second time, especially since this is not a cheap thing I'm asking for here. I make it to work a few minutes later to realize that my windshield is splashed with something from the inside, my visor is blackened, there are staines all over my car. I don't know what some of these stains are even from. My car has definitely not been detailed and is somehow now dirtier than when I dropped it off. I might as well just have cleaned it myself. **update I went back in today (Monday) spoke to the detail manager. Zack, I believe was his name, absolute waste of time. He not once apologized, multiple times said I don't know what you want me to do. I went in there pretty open minded but he just made me upset. I asked for a refund since I doubted his credibility at this point. He said he couldn't do it. He'll get another manager. Facilitating manager, I believe, didn't catch the name, very nice though. He apologized, listens to what I had to say, and gave me a few options. He gave me voucher for future use. Can't say I'll came back again, especially after that manager that couldn't even bring himself to apologize for not being able to have my car cleaned. read more

Ok I have to admit I have never looked at the reviews being a Yelper! However I've been coming since before they changed their name ONLY because it's fast but I'm always dissatisfied. Today I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND QUITE PERTURBED - more than usual! We showed up around 2:30 for just an oil change and a VIP car wash, sure enough, I was "talked into" a complete $350 service that promised me, despite my past experiences, "would be great and I would get a $100 discount and a full month of car washes,". "just because." I should have known when a good salesperson (Orlando) told me they were "desperate for details" and it would take 2 hours max. Well, that was at 2:30pm and we came to pick up at almost 5, they said, " it will be another hour." Ok, well we will get dinner, sit down for dinner and at 5:13 we get a call saying your car is ready come pick up and if you aren't here in 5-10 minutes we will leave the keys at the front desk. Nice!! So packed up our food, walked across the parking lot and guess what, car still not done and they ask us to sit and wait AFTER we paid almost $400 - lesson (S) --- multiple lessons - learned! I'd rather go and wait a true wait and get my car done with true reality with a quality job. Nonetheless , the detail wasn't a detail as there was still debris and hard spots on the car and tires. Not coming back but will definitely spread the word as well as contact "management" to include Tom Jones "facility manager" that wasn't available according to the site staff and only wanted to give me a "comment card" with no further instruction of our dissatisfaction. My advice, "follow the stars! Less than 1!" Don't waste your money go somewhere reputable. Nonetheless we have to go back for them to "clean up" what they missed. read more

This place has become really shady. They took down the sign with all the car wash options and pricing. The guy said the only option is the VIP package. (Most expensive option) It was after asking to see the prices on his iPad and him saying that they're undergoing renovations was the reason why the car wash menu wasn't there anymore (all of the other signs are still up) that he finally got angry and told me the prices. Then the aggressive dude that wants to fix the chips in your windshield and gets overly aggressive and talks over you when you tell him no. This place used to be good, now it's misleading and shady. read more

I've come here many times and always gotten a decent wash. I just bought a new truck and decided to go for the Ultimate job for $40. What a waste of money. They had to vacuum the inside again (told me that they couldn't get all the dog hair off the carpet), there were still smashed bugs on the windshield, water spots on the body, and some kind of oily spots on the interior. Stopped here yesterday day and I was not impressed I paid for the works and I'm not sure what I paid for. The outside and inside both looked the same as it did when we first went in. I feel like I wasted my time and would have been better off taking my 10 year old thru the self wash near our house for $7.00 for a better wash and vacuum. That's what we normally do and trust me the job is way better then what I received here. I'm glad I shut down the $39.99 wash the worker kept pushing me to get for a free wash! This was the Tatum/Shea location Now I understand why the very low star rating. Gave this place a chance and did the VIP wash for $40 the guy pulling it into the car wash rammed my brand new 2021 Honda pilot into one of the guard rails entering. I had to ask for the windshield to be washed three times because they were still dirty when I was leaving. When I got home I noticed there were bugs still all over my grill and when I called him the girl said I'll let my manager know and hung up on me. I purchased a detail including headlights 4 1/2 hours later they called me to tell me it was ready which was fine they told me it was gonna take that long. Went to pick it up the headlights weren't done there was stuff all over the headliner of the car that wasn't there before. I had emptied out all the compartments except for one and the only one I didn't empty out is the one they cleaned it had all my loose change it. There was frosting on the windshield when I took it in and it was still there when I pick it up. I made sure I went and got cash so I could tip them when I went to pick it up. But I decided the change that they took out of the little compartment was enough of a tip for them. read more

I had made a decision to stop coming here after the last couple experiences were so miserable, but I decided to give it one more chance. Now, keep in mind, the last couple experiences were big money items--full detail, engine cleaning, upholstery, etc. I was treated poorly, and the vehicle was left in sub-par condition after spending over $200 on one visit alone. This most recent second-second chance should've been a piece of cake. Simple "The Works" car wash. I was told it was "ladies day," so I should ask for a $2 discount at the register. When I got there, I let him know, but he said it had already been rung up and he couldn't do anything about it. He then proceeded to be very rude about what a pain it would be for me to even have to fix the situation on his end. Even the woman behind me tried to advocate, but to no avail. Two freakin bucks. Windshield wiper was caught in the machine, twisted and bent. The manager, David Castillo, told me they are not liable, and that he has not proof' that I wasn't lying about damage, which is mind boggling. He felt as good as I did to get it back in hands. I was so positive and such a great representation of Jackson's. Promote him again! I will avoid Jackson's forever--a guy at 20th & Highland sold me a detail voucher, said I could use it any time, then when I came back (within their 1-year time limit), he changed the deal and wouldn't refund my money. This place is still crooked, even without Dan Hendon. There's a good reason you don't have to wait very long to get a car wash here any more. If anyone else gets the shaft from this rip-off company, I highly recommend filing a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's office. read more

I am an express car wash member and have my car wash barcode affixed to the inside of my car door because I cannot have it on the windshield. This requires me to have a team member scan it. The last time I went through the express lane, I was told to go through full service for a scan. I went through the full service lane today and the service agent was very rude to me and said that I was wrong and for the last 20 years everyone should go through express. He was condescending and patronizing and never apologized for the confusion caused by their team's inability to be consistent. He rolled his eyes at me and was very argumentative. I'd give my experience less than one star if possible. Here's what happened. Typical experience - pressured by the guy at check in to get a detail, and pre-pay for the detail because I don't have time, etc. Whatever, it's his job. I pay at the cashier counter and the first question when paying by credit card is "do you want to add a tip?". I do (I don't have any cash with me), and I add on $5.00 (I always tip at least $5.00 as these guys and gals work their tails off, and I want them to get paid for it). My car is done and the guy who's been cleaning it calls out. As I hand him my receipt I simply point out I put my tip on the credit card (I never want these guys to think, since I'm not handing them cash, that I didn't tip them). What he said next was deeply disturbing - "if you want us to get the tip money, don't ever put it on your card, we never get it". I was appalled - and I asked him again "they don't give it to you?" - he said "no, never - it goes to the 'big company'". Could he have been lying to me? I guess. But I would put that probability at about 1% (what incentive would he have if in fact the company was actually fairly distributing the tip money the company gets through credit cards?). I think he's stating what actually happens - whoever is running this company is choosing to steal the tip money intended for the people who are doing the work washing the cars. I can't imagine a lower life form than someone who steals money from people doing hard labor for them. I hope that someone who works there (who should be getting tips) reads this, and finds an attorney. Or, I hope an attorney reads this who is appalled as I am and seeks out a number of these people to represent them. I'm sure there's a case here. My guess is - since as of this writing there are 373 reviews with a total of one and one-half stars - nobody will respond to this. And, if so, it will probably be some form of "of course we give them their money". To which I would ask them "prove it". read more

Had my car detailed two weeks ago. I was told my interior would be dry when it was done and I'm guessing that wasn't quite true because now my car smells like mildew. Also I had a milk crate in the back of my car with some blankets, swimsuit and towel and it didn't get back to my car. I took me about a week to notice, I want paying attention when I picked it up. I went back and walked the shop to see if it was there and it wasn't. I get that I should have looked sooner, but I am disappointed that it wasn't still around. Been here many times and this always happens, I only go back because it's local to me. 1) don't pay for an upgraded car wash, just get the basic, no matter what you pay for you'll still only end up with the basic. 2) it takes FOREVER despite seeing 3-4 guys standing around doing nothing. By the time you get your car back you're so annoyed you don't even point out all the stuff they missed because they have already taken up so much of your time. 3) my car never actually gets CLEANED, only "shiny" on the outside (today I upgraded to VIP) My exterior wasn't actually cleaned, the inside of my windows weren't touched, they might as well have not vacuumed, and they closed one of the middle cubbies so I wouldn't see that they didn't touch it- they obviously know they don't do a good job. 4) I always feel harassed by 1-3 guys when I am walking in to pay, they're always trying to upgrade something for me, like getting an oil change, new window shield... etc. calling me "beautiful girl"- it's disgusting. 5) I have to come home and fix all the stuff they missed, today was especially bad- which is why I am actually taking the time to review them. Terrible experience. All the way from customer service from damaging my car. Went in with a range rover evoque for an express wash and something broke one of my front lower bumpers. Went on a Wednesday for detailing they said it would take 1.5 to 2hrs. Came back 2hrs later and they said it would take another 1.5hrs because several people had called out. I had to work so they said I could bring my car back later. Went two days later they said they were still shortstaffed and would take 2hrs to complete the job they were already halfway through. Said come back first am Saturday and would be taken care of. I dropped the car off Saturday at 735am. They said 1.5 to 2hrs. Again, after I explained all of the above and that half the detailing had already been done. I came back 2 hours later, and they said it would take another 45 minutes to an hour. At this point I asked for a refund and explained that this was now my 3rd trip and the 2nd time they'd been late by over 50 percent of their estimate. The manager said he could hussle and get it done in 30 minutes. I explained I already had an appointment and I couldn't wait. I asked for a refund. He said well most of the job was already done. The car hadn't been vacuumed nor had the interior been wiped down. They charged me 200 dollars and refused to refund anything, and offered that I come back again. To the management- do you think this is an acceptable expectation for a customer to have to make 3 trips and spend over 4 hours for a quoted time of 1.5 to 2hrs to get "most of the job done?" Do you think having "most of the job completed" is an acceptable reason to not at least partially refund for services not provided, and more specifically provided 3 days after the original payment was made? The lack of respect for your customers time is completely infuriating and a completely avoidable experience. If the wait time is 4 hours just tell the customer up front and they can plan accordingly.
