My sister chose this place for the family to eat at after her college graduation. We had a 6pm reservation and did not leave until almost 9pm...absolutely unacceptable. I would give this place 5 stars for food but 1 Star for service. We didn't get our food (including raw sushi) until over an 1 1/2 hours after getting there and that was only AFTER I went and hailed down our server and told her this is ridiculous. And when she did bring us our sushi she left us without chopsticks, soy sauce, wrong orders, and told us the hot entrees were going in...barely?!? I talked to the manager and he was nice and said they were understaffed but that doesn't excuse our table being there for almost 3 hours and watching other tables come and go. They did take off 10% and didn't charge us 18% tip for our party size. I've never been so angry at a restaurant in my life. read more

I've been here a couple of times. Really enjoy the atmosphere, the service and most definitely the food here. I'm a sushi and sashimi lover and this is what I have every time. The pricing is in line with he quality of the food you receive. I'd recommend this to anyone for groups or romantic settings. im not sure what is happening with Jacky's, but this place used to be my "go to " restaurant when taking out of state guests and just going to monthly. however, after not being there for about 6 months, and going tonight , it was like going to a completely different restaurant with a completely different experience. to start , there were no tablecloths on the table or place settings. once seated the waitress brought us utensils folded in a napkin to our table. the carpet was not swept and chairs were filthy. We specifically went there for our our go to meals of Chilean sea bass and spicy seafood salad and clams in black oyster sauce. Both the spicy salad and clams were not on the menu and when we asked our waitress about it, she said, "this is our new menu." I ordered Nim Cow which was awful and my partner ordered the sea bass which was a 6/10. it used to be 10/10. something has changed and I'm not sure what, but after being a dedicated patron for over 15 years, we will not ever go back. it was very hard to see what this place has been reduced to. read more

I was actually surprised by this place. I heard it was a chain but haven't given it a chance. At this time I was there with my wife and told me that she got food poisoning here like 10 years ago and wanted to try it out again. Of course I said yes to the idea. Spoiler alert... we both left happy and find the next day. The food was great and where we sat had a cool view. If you actually take a quick walk around the restaurant it's pretty big compared to the outside. It has a modern decor to it and prices aren't that bad. The sushi there was really good. It was my husband and my first time at this restaurant. From the moment, we walked in and left everything was amazing. Great atmosphere, food, service and followed all COVID 19 precautions. We had an amazing waitress named Anora. She was professional, polite, great personality, always made sure we had everything we needed and suggested things on the menu when I asked her. Often times I wonder, what does it take for a restaurant to be successful? Is it the food? The ambiance? The location? Perhaps it is the owner's blind ambition which forces them to bite off more than they can possibly chew. Mr. Ko is currently overseeing six restaurants - including two directly across the street from one another in North Providence - all of which are branded with his eponymous moniker. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Jacky knows a thing or two about how to attract diners to his locations. There have been, however, two instances in a matter of two weeks that caused myself and my parties to walk out of two of his establishments. It was the poor service. Now when Jacky's Galaxie was a humble, three (to four) restaurant entity, there existed a refreshingly personalized experience at every location. It was the kind of first name basis with your server that only a small mom-and-pop stop could provide. As Jacky's grew, I followed every step of the way from Bristol, to Downtown and back to NP. With each iteration, it became increasingly more evident that this once townie-catering cluster of restaurants had fallen victim to an ever-expanding business plan. Each time a newer location opens, the cat disappears and the mice run amok (not literally, because all locations are still somewhat clean and at least from what I have witnessed, devoid of rodents). But unlike a bigger-than-it's-floor-plan-can-accommodate home, occupied by a family who ends up having way more children than expected, the third, second and first born kids, ironically, are the ones who get the hand-me-downs. This is apparent in the lackluster service and neglectful management practices. When the Waterplace location first opened its doors, it became abundantly clear that this was not to be of the typical model which had been in place for years - but upscale is good. The service at first was exceptional. All of Mr. Ko's efforts were being directed here and the food and staff and decor were amazing. Fast forward to recent months, where now the newest NP incarnation is the gleaming jewel in Jacky's crown. The Waterplace location is clearly missing out on the principles that built this empire in the first place - which dictate that you keep your customer's happy and therefore coming back for more. On one particularly busy evening, my guest and I were in the mood for some pan-asian cuisine and wanted to take in the sights and sounds of Waterplace. What happened next was completely unacceptable. We were not greeted by any of the THREE - seemingly teenaged - hosts who were "working" the host stand. Strike one. After requesting their attention, in order to be sat, we were taken to what can best be described as a spot in limbo - hovering somewhere in between the lounge and dining area. Had we been asked if we would did not mind, we would have gladly waited for a better-situated table. The thinking was, why give these undertrained kids, who clearly do not know any better, a hard time? Therefore, this one goes to management for not effectively preparing them for their job - strike two. After some casual, pre-dining small talk with my guest, I began to look around for our server, so as to place a drink order. We had not even been greeted after being seated for nearly ten minutes. Strike three. Shall we bounce? Yes indeed. And off to a better-reviewed restaurant we headed. Not before walking by that all-but-silent host stand. You do not allow a party who had just been sat, to leave without at least attempting to involve a manager. It was probably too late, but at least attempt to rectify things. Ok, it was busy, but nothing like a Waterfire night. And so what? I enjoy going out on busy nights in the city because that's what people do when they're not working and that is where your business should be thriving. To be fair, I attempted to give Mr. Ko another shot, in the hopes that he would be able to redeem himself. In fact, I decided to email him directly and relay this story of shockingly horrific service. I never received a reply (which would lead me to believe it was read and dismissed by management so as not to bring heat). And now customers of the 21st century, like myself, have a truly democratic tool which allows experiences like this to be exposed. As a long time patron, at every location, this review deeply saddens me. Forever a student of history, my past experiences have allowed me to now proclaim something even more troubling: I remember those good times. The heyday of Jacky's Waterplace. Jacky's has all the makings of a big, fabulous, glamourous, sleek and sophisticated downtown sushi restaurant, but there are two things holding it back from being great: 1) The food. It's ok, but nothing special. Our sushi was 'meh', and didn't taste fresh. I think that, perhaps, the rolls were pre-rolled, because they came out super-fast. Also, our house salad with ginger dressing was so bland, I had to add soy sauce to it to make it register on my buds. For almost $50 per person, I would expect more. 2) The service, while excellent, was just too quick. We went out on a Friday night for a night out, and while the valet, hostess, and server were all excellent, everything just happend so... fast. We were in and out in under and hour; it was hardly the lingering dinner I was so looking forward to throughout the week. There was also something faintly chain-y about it, however, as I mentioned the space is lovely - it's really beautiful and the view of the river is one of the best in downtown. If you're into pretty, go to Jacky's. If you're bringing in friends from out of town and you want a place with a yowza view to narrate from, go to Jacky's. If you yourself have no idea of the wealth of culinary delights available in Providence, by all means, go to Jacky's. But I do know those delights, and Jacky's is a big disappointment for me. It really is a beautiful space -- the kind of decor that makes you sit up a little straighter and dress a little better. I imagine it's packed on WaterFire nights. But this seems to be the sole serious investment. The service was spotty both times I went there, and the food, which seemed adequate, was only worth writing home about if you hadn't been to the myriad other Providence restaurants doing the same thing better. And it was expensive. I mean double to triple what I'm used to paying for generally superior fare. Eight dollars for (vegetarian!) nime chow that didn't even come with enough sauce (presumably because they chose the adorable sauce container because it was adorable, not because it held enough sauce)? Come on. I'm frankly worried that there aren't enough starry-eyed vacationers and business executives in town to make this sort of thing work. If you're willing to pay for pretty, awesome. That's your prerogative. But be warned that at Jacky's, it seems to be around half your bill. And of all the amazing cuisine in Providence, this just isn't it. read more

Fantastic place! Most RI-ers know of Jackie's Galaxy which has multiple locations around the state, but this is their "high end" location downtown. The short of it all is the service is impeccable, the decor is classy, there's a bar, sushi bar, and a dining area (as well as party area), and the food is fantastic! I've been here twice already and want to go back. I can't say which dish is the best, but everything I've had here (about 4 appetizers and several entrees) has been to die for! I was in Providence visiting a friend. At first, I was a bit skeptical about Asian food here but this place is surprisingly good! We got the pineapple fried rice, the fried udon, pho and pad thai. Everything was pretty good but the pho was not like the pho you would get at a pho place. I will say that the stir-fried udon was my favorite. First off, this Jacky's Galaxy should not ever be confused with its stepsister locations in neighboring towns. This one is high end, high priced and high class. It's a beautiful restaurant with amazing views of Waterplace and Downtown. Ans the food is splendid. Our sushi was delicious. The right mix of flavors and the portions were good. Crab rangoons and gyoza were also very good. One complaint, the menu indicates all sushi entrees come with miso soup or salad but that was not offered to us. That sort of thing always annoys me. I feel like a restaurant should know what they offer without having to be reminded. If you're in Downtown, check out Jacky's. And definitely choose this over that P.F. Chang chain. read more

I was told about Jacky's Galaxy by a friend just last week. I love sushi so I thought I'd give it a shot since I had a friend visiting from Cali. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the service was great. Our waiter Ethan was very attentive and continued to check on us throughout the night. The food was awesome and I was a fan of the portions. Not too much, not too little. My friend from Cali also special ordered a sushi roll not on the menu, they did not hesitate to make it and it came out great! It was a rainy night for us, but you could still see the amazing views. On a recent visit home, I went to Jacky's with my 80 something year old parents and their 85 year old friend for lunch. I was impressed! It is a classy Asian restaurant with 5 star service and excellent food. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and right away I noticed that the restaurant's layout is exceptionally well done with private rooms, booths, a bar and a sushi bar. Being on the river is a definite plus and they have a deck for the warmer months. My mom and her friend started with drinks which they agreed were well made and packed a punch. We then ordered shrimp nime chow which they make very well using very fresh ingredients. Interestingly it is one of their specialties but not listed on their lunch menu, so if you go for lunch, know to ask for it! We followed with lemongrass chicken and pork pad thai ~ both dishes were tasty and not at all greasy. At the end of the meal, our waiter, Michael, and another waiter arrived with a piece of lemon cake (complimentary) and serenaded my mom's friend with "happy birthday to you..." Apparently Michael had heard us wishing her a happy birthday during the meal and alertly took action! Major points! Of course with all of this comes high prices, so (especially) if you go for dinner, don't leave home without "it!" After we had paid the check, left a tip and gone to the nearby parking lot to retrieve our vehicles, my mother realized that she had left her parking lot ticket and the $6 for the lot on the table. I went back and the ticket was waiting at the front desk. The $6 was not. I did not say anything in case they thought it was a second tip, but a 5 star restaurant would have asked me if the extra money on the table was also left in error... You get what you pay for, With Jacky's I found I was paying more for a fancy restaurant with a beautiful view, than for food worthy of such a setting. The food was basically on par with many of Providence's other Asian restaurants, such as Sura or Lim's. The dish presentation was immaculate and the service was perfectly paced and attentive. Restaurants will and should be able to charge a premium because of the restaurant's location; in Providence that's typically Federal Hill, where the food is good but you're paying a steep premium for being on "The Hill". Jacky's is located at Water Place Park so equally they should be able to get a premium. I can imagine sitting at one of their window tables on a summer night with a water fire as the back drop, what a great way to enjoy a night in Providence. A very nice dining experience overall, I just wish the food had as much of a wow factor as the view. read more

You found this place online because Yelp gave it above 3 stars. I know that's true! You weren't quite sure what to expect or what the fuss was all about but since you're new in town you thought you would give it a try! Well if that's not what happened to you that is what happened to me! I was looking for some Chinese food around town that wasn't your typical take out greasy mess. Maybe I haven't figured out the parking in the area yet, but I found that there was very little parking around. What will happen during Waterfire?? Maybe I'd have to park at the mall. Anyways, that's a huge issue for me is parking in this area. After you finally found a decent parking space, then you'll ask, where is this restaurant exactly? Google maps told you it was here, but where is it? Jacky's doesn't face the street and it's at the bottom of a giant apartment complex so you'll definitely miss it a few times before you actually find it. Once you know where it is it's an easy place to renavigate to. This place creates an elegant modern environment that makes you think it's upper class. Sure they charge upper class prices but you really could have done the same thing, tone down the decorations and tone down the prices and a lot more people would come. We were seated by the window which is where I hope they put us during Waterfire. The window that they have stares straight over the water so if you're lucky enough to have seats during the event, you can eat and enjoy at the same time. I have found, though that they book up early so book now! Their menu is extensive and is more of a Asian fusion than any one Asian food alone. I would say, however, that their Chinese food is 3.5/5 star authentic. You tend to get more of your sit down Cantonese foods with steamed fish or a lobster noodle. They also have Ho Fun (flat rice noodles) cooked wet or dry to your liking. Since this is the only place that I have found so far with this type of food I'll be coming here until I find something different. I really dislike the professional pictures they took of their foods. I usually like to give places in Providence a good (and honest) rating in an attempt to support success of local businesses and restaurants. I'll let minor dissatisfactions slide for an overall good assessment. I've hesitated a long time to come to Jacky's, based on reviews, but I finally paid a visit for a group dinner. Unfortunately, I can't justify a great rating. I feel bad, because I genuinely think the potential here is huge. The location is beautiful and the interior evokes a sense of fanciness somewhat foreign to Providence. It's an ideal setting for romantic date or to enjoy the evening of WaterFire. The food, however, is pretty bad. I dislike any restaurant that lumps together multiple disparate cuisines under one "pan-Asian" roof. It's like going to a "Western restaurant" in Beijing. (They exist, and they're gross.) Since I was at a group dinner, I was able to sample several things. I'll first note that the portions are enormous; some may consider this great, but to me large portions are antithetical to fine dining. I may be mistaken, but I thought they were going for a fine dining vibe. Since pretty much everything I sampled was not agreeable, I won't be super detailed. Just some highlights: the various fried rice dishes were laden with a heavy soy flavor, the sashimi didn't have that scintillating freshness I should expect, and the roast duck was cold. I did like the crispy skin of the duck, although the Hoisin sauce tasted commercial. The drinks are large and not especially strong, just very sweet. They come in a rather basic glass with little garnish and a clear plastic straw. It's just so gauche. Service is too expedient. Things were being served way too fast, such that dishes were being placed atop menus that hadn't yet been cleared. The servers are friendly and attentive, however. Overall, it feels like a chain that tries to make and supersize everything, and in so doing doesn't execute much culinary skill. Their prime location and beautiful decor would be better maximized with a more focused cuisine. For example, just do sushi, and do it with perfection. read more

I came here a few months back having seen they had live music a few nights a week. Little did we know this is a hot spot for business professionals after hours. We felt slightly under dressed but hung out in the bar area and munched on a few appetizers. While a little pricey, it fits the scene and atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and fitting. This is the most beautiful and largest sushi bar I have been to. It's evident that thought was put into the decor. Jaw dropping furnishing and a glass-housed wine cellar are seen when walking in. Traditional Asian lanterns and even chandeliers line the ceilings. A spacious dining area inside with natural light beaming in from the huge glass windows. There's an eclectic mix of seating, ranging from tables for two along the windows to a private dinner room for a party of ten. Overall, the atmosphere is classy and elegant. You'll definitely feel like a high roller here. Some tips: Sit outside if you're going to have drinks. Dinner outside wasn't bad, but I would have preferred drinks on the patio and have moved inside for the main course. The wind doesn't help while eating. The saki was decent. In general, it just something you need to try if you haven't. Food recommendations: Edamame as an appetizer was nothing special. There was quite a bit of salt, but it was served fresh, right from the steamer. Portion was large and easily fed three. Torpedo roll = good North Eastern Tiger = pretty good Volcano = very good Serving size is usually four to five pieces, however they are larger and dense. It will take a while for the bill to arrive. The sushi is good and I feel they should play that up a bit more ... I'm not a huge fan of the Chinese food. One of my experiences I went with a gang and the table had rave reviews, it just didn't do it for me. It seemed like normal 'ehhhh' Chinese food. Jacky's is a love hate relationship. The atmosphere is the primary reason to visit this restaurant. I have done so at least a handful of times. Unfortunately that is the only reason to visit. Most of the time you WILL need to make a reservation otherwise you will be escorted to the bar/lounge area. Food is Mediocre and fits within the budget of an Olive Garden or a Cheesecake Factory, but without the flavor behind it. My Review of this place has taken a completely separate turn due to my most recent experience. I had made reservations almost 2 months in advance to take advantage of the Waterfire atmosphere. When we arrived, there was no table ready. We were offered the private dinning room at no extra charge but this is tucked away in a corner not facing the Waterfire. My party of 9 was then sat in this room for hours while they milked us for drinks. We did not receive our food until 11 pm. Our reservations were for 8pm. Just in time to be disappointed at only catching the tail end 15 minutes of Waterfire. Sad to say this has tainted my view and I will not be returning to this restaurant again. But if you like expensive mediocre chinese then by all means. head on over. read more

Met up with a friend for lunch here yesterday and it was PHENOMENAL. We shared two Mr Mango rolls and one French crunchy roll and they were so fresh, and all of their flavors perfectly balanced. We also had a side order of veggie fried rice (yummy) and a couple Sapporos. I'd been meaning to try Jacky's for a long time, and finally made it over there this past weekend with my girlfriend. We had an awesome time, will definitely be returning, and if you're thinking of going, you should go. First of all, the complimentary valet parking is a nice touch, and from the moment you pull into the driveway/courtyard you can tell you're in for a treat. The ambiance and decor are fantastic, between the fish tanks, modern design, and glass walls letting you see the river outsde. The hostess was extremely hospitable, showed us right to our table by the window overlooking waterplace park (which by the way would be an awesome date idea for waterfire, though this was just a regular night). Now here's where it gets good. We sit down, my girlfriend mentions she's a little chilly (wearing basically a sleeveless shirt and shorts) and I suggest that I grab her sweater from the car. She says not to, she's fine. The hostess overheard this, and about 15 seconds later the waiter comes over with some hot tea to warm her up. Now THAT is good service. For the rest of the evening, the service was arguably the best I've ever seen. The food was awesome as far as taste and presentation, and there were so many things on the menu that we'll have to go back to try some others. We had a sushi roll that had the name Tiger in it (don't remember the rest of the name), the crab rangoons, and a "wet" style noodle and chicken dish. Now, there are two things that I would say were not ideal. First, as others mention, this place is more expensive than your typical pan-asian/sushi restaurant. Honestly, though, you get what you pay for, and if you don't want to pay fine dining prices then you're not going to get this kind of quality anywhere. Second, it was loud. To be clear, this was not the fault of the restaurant or design, but more bad luck/timing. We had a very loud group of 4 behind us, and two birthday parties nearby, and many of the people in those groups had clearly been doing a bit of drinking and were not afraid to yell. I love the sushi here and the whole atmosphere. They have lovely cocktails as well. The fish is so fresh. Something that I get every time I come here is the tuna sushi pizza it is to die for. My favorite thing to do is make a reservation here right before WaterFire, have a beautiful dinner with my friends and family, and then walk right down the stairs from the restaurant to a perfect view of the event. We have been to Jackie's waterplace so many times and have always had good food and drinks. When they sent an email for Mother's Day brunch we cancelled the reservations we already had somewhere else and made reservations there. The menu looked good. However, the brunch was very disappointing. The food was warm at most and overall less than mediocre. The desserts were awful. We were very disappointed we didn't just order off the regular menu. The email said that mimosas and Bloody Mary's would be $8, they charged us more than that for each drink. Also, they added 20% gratuity to the check. The waitress came by very few times to clean up the plates and a different woman came by to collect and bring back the check after we paid, she was very unfriendly. Unfortunately, we will never do a special buffet here again and would urge others not to as well. Always in search of good outside dining I decided to give Jacky's a try because I heard they had a nice patio. It did not disappoint. The view from the patio is fantastic! The Providence skyline may not be huge but it made the perfect backdrop for our dinner. I am not sure how it would compare in the daytime but the buildings lit up against the night sky was beautiful. Though we did not take advantage of it this visit the patio also offers a counter surrounding the edge that would be the perfect spot for an appetizer and a drink. The waitress was friendly and attentive and offered great suggestions.We went during restaurant week and my husband and I ordered off of the special restaurant week menu which was a great deal. The coconut shrimp with mango sauce appetizer, which is also on the regular menu, was delicious. The shrimp tempura was OK, but a little bland. We both ordered a sushi plate for dinner which was well prepared and very filling. Unable to decide on desert we ordered 2 and shared. One chocolate mousse cake and one mango sorbet. so happy with these choices because they mixed with each other beautifully. The couple dining with us ordered from the regular menu (which is extensive!) and were also pleased. I snuck a bite of their chicken lettuce wrap and it was delicious. But my favorite thing may have been the pear martini. All three of them Everyone in our party of four had a great time with no complaints. We will definitely be back. read more

I've been here twice so far. Let's review the better visit first, shall we? Restaurant week lunch: they had a ton of selections for each course. I had hot and sour soup and my boyfriend had wonton soup to start. The bowls were huge for a lunch soup portion. My hot and sour was nice and spicy with a not-too-thick broth and tons of mushrooms and tofu. My boyfriend said his soup was really flavorful. For entrees I opted for the 2 sushi rolls and he got the General Tso's shrimp. My rolls were tasty and seemed fresh (I noticed a lot of other reviews saying the contrary), and the shrimp portion was HUGE. They were massive shrimp and there were probably 5 or 6 of them. Green tea ice cream for dessert wasn't especially green tea-ish, but I had a scratchy throat so I enjoyed the creamy smoothness. Service was good...quick and impersonal but I wasn't in the mood for that server/guest connection crap so that was fine. The FIRST time I went was weird. We called early-afternoon to see if they were open and were told yes. My small group went in and it was totally empty. We sat at the bar and ordered sushi but were told they weren't "technically open yet" and that the sushi station wasn't set up and it would take a while. We had a train to catch so we got vegetable tempura or something. Anyway, AWKWARD. I appreciate them trying to be accommodating by "not saying no to a guest" but had we been told when we called ahead that they weren't officially open for business, we would not have gone in. Beautiful decor. Great views. Parking: I guess they have valet at night but not for lunch. It's a struggle to park near the restaurant as it's set back in a courtyard, there's limited street parking, and the lots in the vicinity all say $18 parking. After we went inside, I noticed a sign at the hostess stand saying their customers were welcome to park in such-and-such a spot, but at that point it's a bit late, seeing as you have to park and walk in to see the sign. Fine food, nice decor, but not somewhere I would rush to return to. read more

This place is beautiful inside with a great view. I went as part of restaurant week with a group of 17 ppl. They didn't seem very prepared for a group of 17 as our lunch went over 2 hours. I think you should leave the kids at home for this restaurant, seems better for a more mature bunch going for lunch or night out. If you go with a big group just be prepared that it might take awhile. But I'd say the food is worth it. read more

The jury's still out as to whether Jacky's Waterplace is: a.) An over-the-top pan-Asian dream home b.) The main dining room and bar of a Carnival cruise ship run aground in downtown Providence c.) A restaurant serving food that's actually pretty decent in an environment that is totally unique (Hint: the answer is "c." But perhaps there should also be an option "d.) All of the above.") I first went to Jacky's during their initial week or two in operation. At that time, our meal was decidedly mezza mezza: I recall that our group of four was pleased with exactly 50% of the dishes we ordered, and unsold on the other half. In particular, the lettuce wraps couldn't then, and can't now, hold a candle to those served at PF Chang's - and I'm truly sorry to say that, because I feel strongly about supporting a local business over a national chain, whenever possible. We ate at a table by the large picture windows overlooking the Providence River basin. While it was not quite yet a culinary triumph, it was certainly visually astonishing. The décor then, as now, struck me as totally bombastic: almost bordello-like in its brash mix of strong competing colors, lush fabrics, a massive circular bar upon entry and boudoir-style lighting throughout. Not my thing, but that's totally subjective--and really, the proof points that a restaurant should rest on are its great food and service. I've since returned a couple of times to Jacky's, and the food has improved so that it's now universally very good. The sushi, noodle dishes and desserts are all tasty, and the hot sake has a bottomless quality of near Biblical proportions. Mark my words; you'll still be pouring long after you expect the narrow ceramic carafe to run dry. If you're prone to getting queasy around loud interior design, this shouldn't be your first choice. Personally, if I was designing an Asian restaurant, I'd go for a look that reads "dim and damask." But if you're in the mood for a show (indeed, even the patrons are on display with Jacky's open floor plan), or simply fancy a celebratory party atmosphere served up with your fried rice, Jacky's fits the bill. read more

Had a great dinner out with friends here! Sitting outside in the summer with perfect weather and the water below, along with some music from a nearby concert venue was awesome! The ambiance worked well, especially outside, but the indoor restaurant also had a fun vibe. Loved the big lanterns! I was excited to try the lobster lettuce wraps but was disappointed due to the addition of celery in them, it overpowered everything else and I didn't think they belonged. See ya later celery! The rolls we selected were good, nothing above and beyond a typical specialty roll, but the sauces provided added a nice touch, so overall I was good with the rolls. This is a fun dinner night out with all of the aspects of the place tied together but don't expect to be blown away by the food. read more
