My water heater stopped working this past Friday. I called Jacot Plumbing and their excellent customer service team was able to schedule an emergency same day visit for me. Matt and his team called within an hour stating that they had completed a job earlier than expected and could be on their way to my house if ok. When Matt and his team arrived, they were able to troubleshoot the problem and restart my water heater. Matt is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the diagnostic tests that he was running. They even contacted the manufacturer on my behalf to inquire about the warranty remaining. They were transparent about their estimates and how much a replacement would cost should I need it in the future. My water heater is working great now. Rude staff and management. Scheduled appointment today to look at my kitchen faucet having issues. Two people showed up which we didn't expect. I explained to them that nowadays we like to minimize traffic in our house and don't really need extra person walking around. I was told it has to be two people or I need to reschedule (after I specifically took time off work to be home for that). Called their office and spoke with manager Tina who was pretty rude and abrupt, didn't want to resolve the situation. I won't use them again and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I have used Jacot Plumbing in the past few years and they have been great. Day after Thanksgiving, when the sink wouldn't drain, they came out and Art took care of it. This last year I needed a new garbage disposal installed, easy. This last 2 weeks though, I've needed my hot water heater maintenance done. Last Tuesday they couldn't make it so I rescheduled for today and even called to confirm the appointment this morning and all was good to go. Just received a call that they couldn't make it until this afternoon so I cancelled. I took time off work to make the appointment, costing me money. We discovered a major drainage issue three days before our mom was returning home from the hospital. Jacot Plumbing, and particularly Matt, saved the day! The house plumbing is old and rather strangely organized and no main clear out could be found. But Matt sleuthed with neighbors (with similar house design) and carefully drilled into stucco and concrete to find, expose and bring up to current standards a fully hidden and embedded clear out, which saved us significant time and cost. All I can say is FANTASTIC! Mike, Mike, Jesse, and James were the most friendly, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and competent plumbers I have ever contracted. They explained everything well in advance, prepared me for what was to be required, and performed great-looking and functional work. These are the only guys I will be calling in the future for my plumbing needs. Work done: leak detection, a complete replacement of our water heater - including all code upgrades, a reroute of bad hot-water line currently in our foundation, and some help with water flow in a kitchen sink. The pricing was completely in-line with my expectations (as we should all know by now that competent, quick, and professional services are not something obtained at bargain, handyman prices). We were going to change the toilet downstairs and bought it from home depot. When Michael was going to install it we realized it was broken. We had to special order it. Michael went with us to home depot to help us order the right sized toilet. We received the toilet and it was broken. We finally received one that was not broken. Michael did a great job of installing it. He was very friendly. He did an awesome job. They charged us $320 for 15 minutes of work that included switching out the line for our new gas range. Their explanation is that they charge $165 to move our range out and $165 to move it in again. And that's before any work is actually done. So be careful if you're going to have them work on any appliances that need to be moved to and from the wall. read more
