34. Shrimp Fried Rice
Eva C.

The mei fun was nicely filled with protein, but a bit too salty for my tastes. Not sure what brand of rice was used in the fried rice but it was not my favorite. Seemed to be a short grain that reminded me of rice bit-not a good texture. Service was fast and friendly

Thai delite... all sit down meals are served in take out containers
Aimee K.

Really disappointing since they basically offer take-out only. You can sit and eat, ordering from their take-out menu but they serve everything in take-out containers with cheap, tiny plastic utensils. The sushi was not great. Not only was it warm but my yellowtail nigiri was chewy and inedible. I mentioned it to the owner and he pretended he didn't understand me. We've eaten here many times pre-covid and I know he speaks English very well. We won't be back

This is supposedly bourbon chicken.

Just ordered two lunch specials, one general chicken, and the other was supposed to be bourbon chicken. Unfortunately, I don't have a car to go back there so I am stuck with what they're telling me is bourbon chicken. This is quite obvious boneless ribs. And was given brown rice with bits of pork in it, but it was definitely not fried rice beyond disappointed. below is a picture of what they are calling chicken. And the man told me over the phone that this was chicken when you look at it you can tell it is boneless ribs. I had to add a bunch of seasonings to it to make it even taste good. And it's not bourbon chicken and it wasn't fried rice.

Just ok Tom Yum soup and avocado salad

3.5 Decent enough spot to grab a quick bite to eat while in an area I'm pretty unfamiliar with. I was originally intrigued because they offer Chinese, as well some Thai AND Japanese, and it seemed to be an easy stop with a party whose tastes and desires that day varied. I was starving after a long, active morning and went with an avocado salad to start. Beautiful fresh avocado was given generously, and the ginger dressing was super tangy and really wonderful. Maybe one of my fave ginger dressing to date! Yum! I then ordered Tom Yum soup, one of my favorite soups ever, and unfortunately this fell short. The broth was watery and the dish was missing the tofu I had asked for. Also, the veggies were sparse. Whomp whomp. The red curry somewhat salvaged the meal after the soup. The flavor was really strong and had the perfect balance of cool coconut and spice. I asked to sub more veggies for the rice and it seems that didn't happen however. This is partly where my overall lower star rating comes from. The punch of flavor and the fact that I ordered so much made this not as big of an issue as it probably should've been. The spongy tofu came in large chunks and the Thai basil was perfect. My dining partner ordered pineapple chicken with only one piece of pineapple, so I'm seeing a theme here. Overall, I would dine again, but I would make sure to be a bit more vocal about my lack of ingredients. I was honestly just too hungry this go around. They do have lunch specials for all cuisines, but they are very strict about substitutions. Service was fine. No complaints there.

Coconut chicken... very light and tasty

Found Jade Asian while searching on Yelp for a new place to try. Glad we did. Clean and looked like new. Rick our server was very helpful to us newbies. A few questions, his guidance and we were on our way.... started with pink lady [tuna, salmon, yellowtail, mango, & avocado wrapped with soynoir sushi roll-- so good, fresh, light and delicate and an order of steamed pork dumplings-- tasted like the hand made, made to order soup dumplings we used to get at Petite Soo Chow in Cliffside Park NJ that we greatly miss from our days living in Hoboken. Thin skin, great flavor, a light broth inside that bathes the meat. WOW We shared two Thai dishes, pad thai with shrimp and chicken in coconut sauce -- pineapple, pepper, mushroom and jicama in coconut sauce.... both light, tasty and super fresh. Good find.

To the best of my knowledge, liquor is not served there, so you would be able to bring your own.

Amazing food. 1) The…read moreroti canai is unbelievable. Must get. 2) Try their mixed satay, also unbelievable. 3) Their Malay potato chicken curry was amazing. 4) Their Malay milk tea was fantastic! 5) Try the side of coconut rice and chicken rice, worth the 2 bucks each.

My husband and I love Malaysian food and take frequent trips to NYC just to visit our favorite…read moreMalaysian spots. We were very excited to discover Malay nearby in Morristown, and we had to check it out. We ordered the Malay Prawn Mee, Chicken Sambal, and the Roti Canai. Roti Canai is one of my favorite Malaysian dishes, but this didn't quite hit the spot. The roti wasn't soft and dip-able. It was kind of flaky and kept falling apart every time I tried to use it to scoop up some curry. The curry was a little watery and not all that flavorful, and I defintiely would've appreciated more than just one or two chunks of potato and chicken. The chicken sambal and soup were additionally a bit disappointing. The chicken sambal was just okay for me, and the flavor didn't really blow me out of the water. It almost felt like something I could make at home. The soup similarly did not have a particularly rich or flavorful broth, and left me a little dissapointed. Another thing that really influences my review is how cold it was inside. It got even colder when people opened and closed the door. It was so cold that our food didn't seem hot. I think the cold air cooled it off instantly and we were left eating room temperature chicken and soup.
