Best Chinese in town, we have tried all the others but keep coming back to jade garden!

Food was excellent. Service was great as well. I had the Kung pao chicken made with white meat and my wife had the sesame chicken. Both were very fresh and portions were generous. The take out orders are done quickly, usually within 15 minutes. The food tastes fresh and you know it is because you can peek into the kitchen and see the fresh veggies. Our usual order is bbq pork fried rice, potstickers, pork steamed buns and then a choice of meat. That's enough for two and some left over mid-night snack! read more

Best hand made Chinese food in town. Always receive fabulous service here. It's a family run restaurant that definitely knows what they are doing! You can call in your order or go in to dine. They allow you to bring a bottle of wine if you like for a small corkage fee. I believe about $5. The Lo Mein, fried rice, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, pot stickers, broccoli beef, egg flower soup, chow fun, among many other dishes are so tasty. The lady was very nice who took our order but there was no flavor on the noodles & thin slices of bbq pork as the noodles & the honey walnut shrimp tasted way too fried and battery and barley any sauce on it so all we taste is battery shrimp. Wouldn't come here again. Maybe wasn't there best because it was 30 minutes before closing? Not sure. read more

The most decent chinese food you can find in Napa. Not the greatest but for this area, dont go elsewhere! K always get the honey shrimp to go, its delicious although sometimes it can be over breaded and the dough not cooked through, still soggy inside. Maybe fry them longer? read more

In Napa for a few nights and wanted some good Chinese food. This place was great for to-go food. When we picked up the food, we were warmly greeted by the owner/staff. They were kind, enthusiastic, warm and friendly. The food was ready in a short 10-15 minutes. And they chatted with us as it was packed to go. Back at the hotel, we enjoyed everything. Especially the Wor Wonton Soup and Chicken Chow Fun (wide, flat noodles). Definitely recommend! read more

Reminded me of the Chinese restaurants my mom would take me to as a child! My husband loves Chinese food and really enjoyed their pork chow mein and shrimp with vegetables. Service is always good, friendly, and just the right amount of attentive. I had the BBQ pork chow mein and it was out of this world! Usually, I make it about halfway through a serving of chow mein before getting full. This BBQ pork chow mein was so delicious that somehow I ate the entire plate. This used to be mini garden. The mushu shrimp is ok. We liked the salt and pepper spare ribs and house special chow fun. Prices are affordable and place is clean. Will go back and try the other dishes. read more

Great spot for a quick lunch and great lunch menu prices. Very easy parking- they have a lot in the back. It's more of a dive place, not fancy at all but definitely clean. My favorites are their salt and pepper dishes, lemon chicken, and their crab puffs are delicious. read more

This used to be my favorite spot until i spotted a roach on the floor, and i let that pass next time we caught one of the cooks with a white bucket pulling out old oil from their used up oil and walking it back in to the kitchen which made me think if they were going to reuse it, it really grossed us out read more

What a wonderful place we found! My husband, daughter, and I came in to eat here for the first time tonight. I was in the mood for Chinese, but didn't know where to go. I'm a little picky sometimes, but I saw the 4 stars for this place, and decided to give it a try. The food & service was absolutely delightful. They treated us like we were family throughout the night, and made such an enjoyable dinner for us. The server even told my husband to get off of his phone & "Eat Already!", which we laughed over. The flavors were delicious in everything. We started with Egg Flower Soup, Spring Rolls, Vegetable Chow Mein, & Orange Chicken. I dropped $50 on this place and food was terrible. Yes it's reasonable price and you get what you paid for. I ordered sweet sour pork, hardly any sauce and breaded pork was hard and dry. Chicken fried rice had flavor but was served room temperature and didn't look appetizing. the chicken pieces were anemic looking, not appetizing to look at. I ordered a dish with shrimp, hardly any shrimp in the dish mainly cabbage and green bell peppers in it for $13. Broccoli beef was so ho-hum, certainly nothing to brag about. My white boyfriend can make a killer broccoli beef with recipe taken from internet. very disappointed with this place. read more

This is the only good Chinese food in Napa! Everywhere else is bland... I judge by the Kung Pao chicken and fried rice. Lots of flavor and friendly service. They can get busy on Friday and Saturday but generally not crazy crowded. Grab a tall beer and try some Silver Wrapped Chicken too! read more

This was the first time I'd actually gotten food from these guys. I've been there two times before this and the service was so bad I ended up leaving without ordering. But because two of the other Chinese food places I usually go to weren't available they were my last resort. I was pleasantly surprised. This place is one of my top faves in Napa! Super delicious and the service is amazing. We are ALWYS greeted with a smile and attended quickly. They need to hire a second server. Owner was bussing tables. Got seated ahead of four tables, their appetizers came before our meal order was prepared. Idiot server guy ( overworked) brought a wrong dish to our table. They don't know how to make egg foo young. Won't go back to this place. read more

Craving honey walnut prawns so i came here to pick up an order to go. Really bummed when i got them home because they did not taste like honey walnut prawns at all. This is my first time here so maybe lesson learned is to eat in the first time i try a new place. If i had i would have been able to send my order back. It looked good when i opened the container but the flavor was all wrong. It tastes like pineapple! When i looked closer i could see a few pieces of pineapple "garnishment"? So i tried a little of the white sauce on its own an it also tasted like pineapple. What? When i tried the walnuts, which are usually sweet honey coated they just tasted like a walnut, nothing sweet, but even the walnut flavor leant nothing to the prawns. To their credit the prawns were nice its just that i was craving the honey walnut flavor, and ordered honey walnut prawns, not pineapple. I also ordered the crab cheese puffs. Again, the flavor was not right. Tasted very heavy of cream cheese and green onion and no crab flavor even though i could see the crab. Hmm. Won't be back, and the search continues for good honey walnut shrimp in napa. read more

We decided to give this place a try which was surprisingly good. Ordered orange chicken, beef chowfun, vegetable tried rice, egg flower soup, Mongolian beef. Everything was great and was not greasy. Food was favorable and on point. No small portions here!! read more

First time I came here with co-workers for lunch and we were late coming back to work because the food took too long to make. We ate the egg drop soup and waited 40mins for our lunch specials. As soon as they set the plates in front of us we asked for to go boxes because we had no time to eat and we were still 15mins late to work. Second time I ordered it to go and got the same thing, kung pao chicken lunch special but I was disappointed that the soup wasn't included when you ordered to go. I can only attest for the Kung pao chicken, which is really good. But service is slow. read more
