Signature Spring Rolls, I specifically asked for them to make one pork and the other two shrimp because i wanted to taste both

Hi Jade's Teacup Cafe! My first time trying. I just ordered DoorDash delivery and my order is delicious. Thank you for satisfying my request of 2 shrimp rolls and 1 pork roll. I really appreciate it! I can tell these spring rolls are made with love. i like the cucumber in it too. The peanut sauce is yummy and i like that it's actually enough for all three rolls. Most places give a small container of peanut sauce. My mango sago was perfect and with the perfect ratio of coconut and mango. I will try a sandwich and fruit drink next!

    Strawberry Fruit Tea with Boba

The Strawberry Fruit Tea was really good! The ambience is comforting and well-lit. The man at the counter was kinda quiet and I kind of guessed on what he was asking. But anyways, nice restaurant, good boba.

A quick Yelp search pulled up dozens of unfamiliar-to-me tea shops near the place we had just had lunch; choosing one felt like a gamble, but I hit the jackpot with Jade's Teacup. Their Strawberry Mango Green Fruit Tea was delicious & refreshing. I loved the macerated strawberries, slightly floral taste of the tea, & the amount of mango syrup which made "50% sweet" just right. Sweet & personable shopkeepers. Give Jade's Teacup a try next time you're in Pleasanton, won't cha?

I was craving a banh mi while at work when my co-worker said there was one at the old happy lemon off Santa Rita. I decided to come on my day off with my daughter to check it out as we were in the area. First impression was clean and cute. And a pleasant surprise to see it is still owned by the same people when it was Happy Lemon. We ordered a bunch of food to try which consisted of: Pork Belly Banh Mi - my brother tried it and said it was good Grilled Pork Banh Mi - delicious! Great lemongrass flavor. ***ALLERGY ALERT*** it has peanuts in it so make sure to let them know Chicken Banh Mi - also delicious and a little reminiscent of the chicken Banh mi I used to get growing up in Union City at Cam Huong Shrimp Spring Rolls Honeydew Smoothie - great flavor w/ bits of honeydew Strawberry Smoothie - my daughter LOVED it. It had really good strawberry flavors not artificial Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/ Boba - boba had enough sweetness and chewiness to it Overall a great experience and happy to know Kathy is still there! Will definitely be my new go to for my banh mi fix while in this area.

We just moved to the area and decided to check this place out on a Friday night. Everything was delicious! The banana pudding matcha was so addictive, I finished it before I left the restaurant. At 25% it was the perfect sweetness especially when the top banana pudding mixed in. The pork banh mi was superb. It came out warm and toasted. There aren't a lot of good banh mi places in the area and this is now my top spot. Can't wait to try the other drinks and food!

TLDR : Jade's cafe is a must try landmark of Tri Valley for your drinks ( Boba , banh mi sandwiches and more ) as well as authentic Vietnamese food right here in your neighborhood Finally had time to make a review ! I just want to start off by saying there are not too many authentic Vietnamese cafe's in east bay, and this one is a true gem! I've been here since the happy lemon days, and was pleased to hear that while this place may have different owners - it is still the same management. What does this mean? Same high quality drinks, but now with more customized offerings for both boba and food! Drinks: For starters, there are not many Sandwich shops that also serve boba, and Jade's Cafe does both well. From Happy Lemon days Mango Matcha is still one of my favorite, but I have also evolved my drink repertoire into adding Grape fruit Green tea, Ube Coffee, and Coconut Chia into the rotation The Ube Coffee is perfect to start my morning (True Ube Fan here), and the Grapefruit, Coconut Chia, and Mango Matcha all have real fruit inside, just right for Summer days, or to have a good pick me up after work Food: Coming from San Jose, I'd say I have high expectations when it comes to Vietnamese food, and was pleasantly surprised that the Vietnamese sandwiches here not only lived up to my expectations, but exceeded them! My Favorite started off as the Chicken Banh Mi - Juicy Chicken with Jalapeño surprises to make it interesting But then I tried the Pork Belly where it was a very melt in your mouth experience To Finally get the Dac Biet ( The combination) Which turns out it truly was the best of both worlds. I can't decide what's my favorite banh mi here so I end up switching it up whenever I'm in the mood for a high quality sandwich (They don't skimp out on meat or ingredients) at a very reasonable price. Compared to Subway, Lee's Sandwiches, Jersey Mike's, quiznos, and other sandwich shops (Even Ike's Sandwiches, a close second place) I feel like there is more BANG for the buck here at Jade's Cafe. Ambiance: Very Modern yet minimalistic, feels very welcoming, has both arcade and games to hang out as well as wifi, and has a good open space to mingle. Closing Thoughts Really happy to share about this place with my friends whenever they visit the area, recently did a catering order with them as well which not only went smooth, but everyone loved the food. Perfect for friends , kids , and a great welcoming place to hang out , I give Jades teacup cafe a must try for anyone in the Pleasanton , Dublin, Livermore area!

This has to be the best tea shop I've ever been to. The veggie spring rolls were really fresh and the drink was unique but delicious! I got the coconut and chia drink with added passion fruit seeds. So delicious!!

They are having their grand opening today (11/22/24) and tomorrow (11/23/24)! I came today to try them out and take advantage of their BOGO today. Tomorrow, they have a different promotion. Today, I ordered the Guava Fruit Tea with Black Tea, and added lychee jelly as a topping. It was really good and refreshing! I would definitely order it again! The label/brand sticker on their cups are cute!

Brown sugar milk tea boba is delicious!! The owners are lovely and the place is so cute

Loving this new boba , waffles , sandwiches and taro milk tea are perfectly executed.

Love this new boba place with yummy viet sandwiches. The owner is super kind and the staff is great. They have bubble waffles and different flavors within 5 minutes unlike other places could somehow take 20 minutes to make. Their matchas are excellent. They are near the Walmart grocery and in a plaza. Plenty of parking and prices are so reasonable. Owner takes care of her patrons unlike other boba places with kids working.

Yummy tea!!! And the bubble waffle is excellent. Crispy on outside snd soft on inside. Perfect sweetness!

Got the oolong milk tea and original bubble waffle which has perfect crisp outside and soft inside. Puff cream is yummy too!

I visited on what turned out to be their 4th day as a newly branded business (formerly Happy Lemon). I was definitely caught off guard with the switch up - they no longer have their Thursday night buy 2 get 1 free and the menu is completely different but the interior is more or less the same. There are now bahn mi options and a much more limited drink menu which for me was a bit of a bummer. The service was good as always (the employees are the same from Happy Lemon) but the drinks I'd say are not quite as good from what I've tried so far. I will give them another try once they're a bit more established as this new business.

The lox croissandwich was good, however, I asked for tomato because I needed an added flavor profile and the saltiness of the lox made me want more hydration in the bite. I usually don't like capers but today they were fine. Croissant was toasted nicely. Service: excellent. A pretty woman greeted us quickly and because it was such a beautiful day, she was coming out to bring our meals and drinks back and forth. She brought us our drinks. My drink was supposed to be with almond milk but I suspected it may have been regular milk. Although I disclose that I rarely order black sesame; it was very very sweet so I ended up not taking a chance and drinking it. My husband and daughter had vanilla lattes and lemonade with their breakfast bacon sandwich and salad. My daughter wanted to go there again today. (Posting a day later). The ambiance was very nice. I had never been to this downtown area. We were across the street from a really cute historic gas station. Great seating for people watching and enjoying the warming heat of summer on the patio. Really lovely experience at Bocado.

Because my friend's band (shoutout to Bored of Directors!) was performing and of course that means I'm there to support him. The scene was everything I would normally avoid like the plague (or the "razor throat" strain of Covid-19 as it may be). Nevertheless, this place is cool! Very chill, not pretentious at all. Glad I scoured previous reviews so I knew what to expect: go past the front door and tables, down the alley to enter at the backyard; order drinks at the left side of the bar, food on the right. Picnic type tables scattered about for shared seating. "Stage" area set up in the corner. The beer selection was great, servers were friendly and helpful (and patient with us newbies). We did not have food so I can't comment on that. The band was awesome and played a mix of songs from 1970s thru 2000s. People were dancing, singing along. It was a great night! Not something I would choose to do if Bored of Directors wasn't playing, but when they come back around, I wouldn't hesitate! So go, have fun! There was a birthday celebration happening at a few of the tables in the front yard. Guests looked to be in their 30s to early 40s so I'm guessing that's the regular clientele here. Oh, and we found parking across the street in a center where a lot of businesses are. Some of the spots are reserved for the businesses but there are plenty that aren't. Or you could just risk the wrath of the Pleasanton PD and hope you don't get ticketed or towed. And of course, designate a driver before imbibing!

For our mains, we tried the Grilled Ahi Tuna with rice and ginger sauce, the Caesar salad, and their signature burger. Overall, the food was good, but not great. The grilled ahi tuna was definitely the highlight of the meal, and my daughter really enjoyed it. The only thing that surprised us was the portion sizes, which felt a little on the smaller side. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe was relaxed and easygoing. That was exactly what we were looking for. Not sure how long this burger joint has been here, but I've always known of it by passing by many, many times over the course of 30+ years. But only tried just recently. There's seating both inside and outside. Inside the walls are totally covered with pictures of classic cars/trucks and interestingly enough of horse racing culture, since the county fairgrounds are super nearby. Pics of horses from past generations and their jockeys and owners. I thought that was an interesting local imprint. Mushroom Swiss Burger ($11/4*) So 'giant burger' is in their name. Even though the patty itself isn't monstrous, maybe a 1/3 lb at most, it is quite sizeable, much bigger than most fast food versions. After scarfing down my burger, I'd say I was slightly fuller than eating a double at In & Out. But this was also almost double on what I'd pay at In & Out. But since I'm a quintessential old schooler myself, I'll pay this price of admission here, no prob. The Burger Patty: Nice and juicy. Good quality and just flat top griddled. I had to season my patty with a little salt n pep from those packets. There's a special sauce that flavors the sandwich, a mayo/ketchup blend is my guess. The Produce: They use shredded lettuce and everything was quite fresh. Just very messy as lots of things will spill out on each bite. The cooked mushrooms were a little light but still noticeable in most bites. The Cheese: The 'swiss' labeled is basically a white colored American cheese, super soft and gooey. Not my fave, but a burger may be the only time I welcome American cheese. The Bun: They use basic sesame American buns. Super factory quality, but again for the basic American burger experience, I think this is fine. Just wished they toasted it more, as it became a mushy mess after even just halfway through. I'd say the bun was my least favorite aspect of this burger experience. Onion Rings ($7ish/5*): My friend said he saw them use a frozen product to drop in the fryer. But damn this was one of the best onion rings I've ever had from a burger joint. Super crisp, just oily enough and no artificial factory flavor. I could taste the onion and the crisp batter, and that batter stayed crisp for the whole meal, even after it cooled a bit. These are a must here. Fries: I tried a small handful from my friends bag as we were sharing our sides. They are of medium thickness and they crisp them nice. They also salt them with a good shake, and the oil they use seemed very clean. Even at Mc Donalds I'll often get grossed out by fries cooked in old oil. Blech! Not here, quite proper. I'm throwing them a fiver, just to show that a fiver doesn't have to be mind-blowing or life changing. Just has to fulfill expectations with a smile, and make me leave satisfied and happy. Check, check...and check!
