Purchased a used vehicle, 3 months out of warranty. Had an issue within a month of sale. Salesman told me "sorry nothing we can do"

Definitely disappointed with how I was handled for a service appt., esp since I purchased my suv from them 1 1/2 yrs ago. In all fairness, My initial experience with this dealership was good because of salesperson JD. He's no longer there. Scheduled maintenance set for 2/13/23, including a loaner valet pickup set for 1230p from my home. Not only did I receive 2 emails confirming the date, but the morning of the service, I received a text msg 2 hrs PRIOR reminding me of their arrival time. They not NEVER came so I called at 418p to follow-up. I was aggravated and got firm with a nasty & condescending service lady claiming there was NEVER a scheduled maintenance for me, then transferred my call to the general voicemail after I asked to speak with the manager. I called right back, got a much more kind woman, who got me in touch with manager Eric. He showed humility, sympathy, understanding and didn't refute my claims but was unable to get me in for service. Even told him about how attentive they were last month when I planned on trading my car in for a newer model, but terrible with the current situation. My plan was to schedule the svc with another dealership. **FYI... NO JAG dealership in NJ can get me a loaner if the vehicle wasn't purchased with them. Better yet, in NY only 2 in the area could get me a loaner at the earliest in mid March or April. I'm scheduled for maintenance 3/4 in White plains and looking to purchase my vehicle from them. read more

Have to say our initial leasing experience was great, but 4 months into having our car, I've tried to reach out to the dealership with questions multiple times and was unable to get a hold of anyone. When I did contact someone from service, they were rude and passed me along to someone else, and I left multiple messages for the parts department, as well as Jon, the guy who we finalized the lease with, and no one ever got back to me. Icing on the cake was, we provided all our info for the monthly lease payments only to find out no one ever processed this, so we had overdue notices coming from chase auto telling us we were overdue on our lease (mind you a couple of my calls to the dealership were inquiring why no lease payment had been taken out). I had to deal with the bank myself and get my lease payments automated. I've just had an overall negative experience with the car and dealership and will not be going back for a subpar quality car and leasing experience. For the amount of money you're paying, I'd rather get a Mercedes or Volvo. read more

Phenomenal experience. Should note - dealership is currently under massive reconstruction so entrance is off side road in a warehouse type building. Came in after going to another LI Jaguar dealership and having a bad experience. Was greeted immediately by someone on the floor. The staff was not overly aggressive or pushy. I told them what I was looking for and what I did and didn't need in a vehicle. Met with and worked with Danny Cruz who was amazing. We test drove a F-Pace for the longest test drive I have ever done in a car - about 30 min - and then went back and discussed numbers. He didn't make me feel like I was a customer but made me feel as if I was entering a family situation. Told him I would touch base with him later that week. When I decided to purchase vehicle the purchase process was seamless, delivery went amazing. Completed all pre-pickup paperwork remotely. Pickup took about 2 hours as you have someone go over the car with you for about 45 min, finance department takes about 30 and then final paperwork takes about 20. Perks of dealership is they will pick up and drop off car for all services from your home and work - which is nice because I don't always have time to come to the dealership. I couldn't be happier with the service provided. read more

On September 15th, 2021 I reluctantly contacted Mr.Steve Reddy (General Manager of Glen Cove Jaguar of 70 Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Cove NY) and explained to him several issues I was experiencing with my vehicle, to no avail. I also informed him that the extended warranty that I purchased from them was due to expire in a couple of days, not to mention I originally purchased the vehicle from them. Mr.Reddy said that he would look into the matter which he obviously never did and didn't even have the courtesy to get back to me, in spite of the fact that I informed him their dealership made an error when filling out the extended warranty paperwork. Thus, shorting me 7 weeks on the warranty. All he had to do was call me, repair my vehicle, which was under warranty at the time, and they would have profited and avoided all these problems. This is a very dishonest dealership. I had prior issues with them, which is why I stopped dealing with them. They overcharged me and when I threatened to sue them, they reluctantly gave me a partial refund. I will be bringing my vehicle, hopefully to a reparable station to be diagnosed and repaired, at which point I will forward the invoice to Glen Cove Jaguar, which hopefully they will pay. If not, I will be seeing them in civil court along with their attornies. Believe me, I don't make idle threats. read more

We are currently in the process of purchasing an e-pace at this location in glen cove and are awaiting the arrival of the exact car. So far the experience here has been amazing. The salesperson Todd came in on his day off to work with us. I have to be honest I wasn't even planning on buying today as we were only test driving cars in this class, but between the great experience with Todd and the test drive, not to mention their understanding on personal and professional levels we decided to move forward today. Todd has been very helpful and understanding. We finalized the deal for our car and couldn't be happier. Everyone at the dealership made the entire process a great experience. We couldn't be happier customers and look forward to our future relationship with the dealer and service. read more

My family and I went to this jaguar dealer twice to unfortunately deal with the same salesman who never even ran a credit check. Charles the salesman who didn't really look like he wanted to be bothered with us said he didn't think the bank would approve the deal (I didn't realize he was also a banker lol) well needless to say this Spanish family has a beautiful jaguar thanks to Jaguar of Freeport!! read more

First let's start by saying this is more of a Range Rover dealership . Only 1 Jaguar displayed on the floor !!! Every car is locked so even if u are looking at range rovers you can't get in to see the vehicle . My wife and walk in, Not one person looked our way. Walked around 5 vehicles .. couldn't get in any of them and was completely ignored. Our next stop will be Mercedes. Sorry Jaguar. read more

They don't like brown people!! My husband was checking out a sport car and a older white man forced himself between my husband and the car then leaned on it so he couldn't look at the inside. We took our car in for service not only did they keep it for a month they scratched and dented the doors and bumper. Forget about the loaner situation and the valet guys are the worst especially George. Make sure you don't go on a day that's raining. They will leave you standing in the rain for at least 5 minutes even after they say the loaner or your car is ready. I had Stacy (valet manager) size me up, laugh and said nothing is available take what we have or that's it. I went there with a range but left with something half its size. I am sorry I purchase the vehicle I should have leased. My husband took our car for service and Devin the service manager demanded we take the review down when my husband refused Devin gave him back our car and said we should go elsewhere! I was generally happy with the experience until the last bit. Salesman Danny did a decent job. I live in NYC and this dealer had inventory that NYC did not. Today I bought a $55K Jaguar from them and got home to NYC, excited to read up on all of the bells and whistles, only to find that the dealership had forgotten to put the owner's manual in the car. I asked if they could have someone bring it to me, or send it by Uber. No, they said. They will send it by overnight mail next week. I explained that I had planned to get to know the car this weekend, and will be traveling with the car out of state next week, and want to be familiar with my new car before I go on this long road trip. I would have thought that they could have made a little more effort given that this was their fault. Well, what they don't know is that I plan to buy a top of the line $100K car for my milestone birthday when this lease ends - they will not be getting my business - all over something they could have easily resolved. read more
