What made the experience even worse was what happened when my 6-year-old Black son and I first arrived. An older white employee looked at my son and said, "Oh, are you the guy we hired to clean the floors? We pay a nickel an hour." The dealer not only refused to negotiate with me whatsoever or be reasonable, but instead the general manager Chris Marino sent me an extremely fiery email, to discourage me from asking further questions or pursue damages? I don't know.
