Got this place for pickup - got a taco salad with ground beef , and a side of beans. Prices for the taco salad were great (about $7.50) including meat. The sides all range between $2-$2.75 if I did it again, i would try a meat besides ground beef. I loved how they put a lot of guac in the taco salad. It's a nice plus! read more

It's near by so we gave it a try...i won't be rushing to go back. the 3 star rating is fitting. I tried the burrito bowl, burrito, quesadilla. The flavors were all meh - nothing enticing. it left something to be desired. It has potential to provide better food overall - management may need to revisit recipes. I ordered a steak burrito and was pretty disappointed... it was just blah. There was really no taste to it at all just rubbery overcooked beef. My sister got the chicken burrito which was much better... but I agree with the other reviews... a bit watery. However, she got a really bad tummy ache after eating it because it was so greasy! But, I guess it is basically what you would expect from a late night burrito place. Definitely not the friendliest crew. No greeting when you walk in. They don't thank you for your business or anything. No one asks if you need help with anything. They just look at you and keep talking to one another. You place your order on the kiosk, they make it and send you on your way. This is a horrible place for customer service. A decent place for a quick bite. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. My chicken taco was good but didn't have a ton of flavor...it was missing a little something. My fiancé said his burrito was really good though. The chips and quac was a good portion size for the cost ($2.50) but also lacked flavor. Soda refills are .50 cents which is kinda lame. Just moved in down the street and was delighted to find out we were now neighbors with a 5am burrito joint. Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing! I've had good experiences going in person to get food, but i used their online delivery service this time around and it was a mess. Ordered at 8pm, got confirmation email, and was supposed to be delivered at 8:40pm. 9:00 rolled around and we decided to call just to make sure because we hadn't heard anything. Upon calling, they told us they never received our order....and yet I have a confirmation email. They could not find my order anywhere and told me they would call me back after calling the manager who apparently gets all the orders. 20 minutes passed by and they call me back asking again what my address is. Two of the orders were ordered with the request with minor alterations (like "no tomato") all requests were completely ignored. No utensils given, no sauces given, no napkins given. The menu is bizarrely limited. There are four house specialty dinners and inexplicably two Caesar salad options (because who doesn't think Caesar salad when they think cheap Mexican food?). Other than that it's burritos. Just burritos. Though to the proprietor's credit, I suppose the place is called "Jaimito's Burritos" and not "Jaimito's House of all Foods Mexican". Still, for a place that only serves variations of the same thing, you'd think they'd at least be able to do that well. I'll save you the suspense from reading the next paragraph. They don't. There's a lot of room to sit, and I love any place with barstool seating facing out a window. They also throw a little cinnamon in the horchatas which is a nice touch. But other than that, this place is like every other run-of-the-mill Mexican joint in a two mile radius - only with fewer options. For what they charge the food should be a higher quality. It might pass for decent after bar food, only there aren't many bars in that neighborhood. As it is, it's a lunch spot in an area with so many other places I'd rather eat lunch. This is a good place to go if.... you're in the mood for an over-priced mediocre burrito (or Caesar Salad). read more

Looks like I found a new place to order food late night & poop my pants while I'm sleeping. This is one of those times when you have to make a trade off. You walk in know that you shouldn't eat late at night not just because it isn't healthy but you know that at some point you will regret it but it smells good & it looks good. I found this place with a friend one late night. We walked in around 3 a.m. & it wasn't bust which was nice because most burrito places have a bunch of drunk mutants in it this late at night. I ordered a steak burrito & it was ready in about 5 minutes. The burrito was a pretty good size & it was pretty tasty. It was not the best but it was certainly far from the worst burrito I have had. I definitely thought it was worth the stop. Overall if you are looking to eat late this is definitely a good spot & I would eat here again. read more

The only Mexican fast food place in walking distance from my jobby-job. Being that I grew up in da hood (Pilsen) it's awesome to see that they have a vegetarian menu. Not that I'm vegetarian but it's cool to see that. They're fast and friendly and I find it funny that they don't know if they should talk to me in English or Spanish lucky for them I speak both!!!--No tomate por favor y extra salsa and do you take a charge card? I've been coming here for years and its always been rock solid in consistency, service and taste. Simple yet tasty tacos and burritos that are good both with and without the gallons of alcohol flowing through your veins as this is a well known afterbars food joint. So if its past midnight expect a few drunk LP types to be in high annoying mode, though its not so bad as service is pretty quick here and "to go" are the magic words that make it worth an effort. read more
