The thing that impressed me the most was where other shops in the area were installing secondary market parts in their quote, Complete Auto installed original OEM Ford parts and in particular the Ceramic brake pads that are critical in the Ford design to prevent/reduce brake dust and brake squeal. Being a retired Ford Engineer I know how critical this is and annoying it can be to a customer if any of these issues pop up later after install. This was the primary reason for me choosing this business over the others. The other key thing I liked is that the owner showed me the old parts after my repair highlighting the poor job that the prior garage had done on my old brakes giving me confidence in that I had selected the right garage to do the work. I can't believe these guys don't have a review here yet…read more Honestly, the only reason I chose this place to being with was because it was within walking distance of where I live. I was a bit skeptical because I couldn't find a review ANYWHERE online about them, but upon the first phone call, I knew these guys were awesome. They gave me honest prices that were a lot less than I expected and even gave me a ride back to my place when I dropped my car off Monday morning, even though I fully expected to walk home (in the rain). I got rear-ended a week and a half ago, and my car was also having a hard time starting (completely separate issue). Roy and Ron technically don't do body work but Roy was able to figure out how he could fix my car so that my trunk would shut, and also within a couple hours figured out that it was my starter (not my alternator, as I was told elsewhere) + I needed a new battery. Though I told them to hold off on the new starter for now but definitely fix my trunk and replace the battery, I will definitely be back in a week or so to have them replace my starter, at a lot less than the competition whom I also checked with. Ron & Roy are good guys, very personable and funny, and won't rip you off. I highly recommend C&G, their service is beyond what you'd expect from your average mechanic or friend who "has a guy." It seems EVERYDODY "has a guy," and I've been ripped off by those guys in the past. Well, I don't "have a guy," that fixes my car, I now have two guys, and they're awesome.

I went to this shop because it was very close to my house, big mistake!…read more So I had my cylinders misfiring. They fixed that okay but then my axles had to be replaced so I said, sure please work on that as well. The car came back, everything was fine until a week later, I started to hear a weird noise in my driver side. The bearing went out. I took it back to their shop and had that replaced as well. After the bearing was replaced, drove it for 2 weeks and I started to hear this humming noise. I figured it was the bearing again. When I took it back to the shop to have them redo it, I told them the noise is coming from the driver side, the owner insisted that it was coming from the passenger side. The mechanic also said that it was on the driver side. Luckily I said let's focus on the driver side, please fix it. And so they did. I got the car with a spongy brake but no bearing noise. A day passed by and noise came back, only much worse!! I took it to a different shop this time. This other shop told me that they were scared when they were test driving my car. Very unsafe! Stay away, this place is a joke. Marked up cheap parts that they put on your car plus poor quality workmanship = potential disaster Never they will touch my car again. Yeah I lost money and time by going with them, I hope you guys won't make the same mistake I did!

Okay ladies and gent's....1 word.....RIP OFF!!!!! I took my…read morelady luck car here to fix 2 problems.. My crackeling speaker and flasher. They call me after running a diagnostic and said that my upper intake gasket needs to be replaced and that it will cost me an extra $550 on top of the estimated $400 for the speaker and flasher. I asked why it needs to be replaced. All they came up with, is that my car has 134,000 miles on it, and things eventually wear out. I was pretty skeptikal about that, cause they were being a bit pushy to get it done. I needed a better explanation. So, I called Tuffy auto (that's my next review) and they extimated the cost of the repairs...MUCH MUCH lower. So, I called back and didn't have them do any work on my car. Long story short, after having Tuffy look at the upper and lower gasket, they said it wasn't leaking. There's nothing wrong with it, why replace it? They also mentnioned the crooks at the dealership work on comission, so they need to 'create work' in order for the customer to spend money there. That Tuffy trip saved me over $700! Never going to Frsard again!
