This is a great Jake's location! Plenty of parking in a lot in front, just get your parking ticket validated. It is a good size restaurant with a large bar. I could imagine during lunch, this is a very busy place! It even has patio seating! The service is quite good! The star is always the food at Jake's. I came in for take out and the shakes, burgers, corn dog, fries, and salads made all smile when I got the order back home. read more

Now I've been to many Jake's Burgers locations. Jake's Burgers is a pretty cool place--nice little burger spot with bars and everything. I'm so glad they opened one off Greenville; it's really close to where I live. They have happy hour and a full bar with different kinds of beer. I had their blue cheeseburger, which is really delicious; I've had it before at their other locations. I've also tried their mushrooms, which were really good, and their spicy ranch. The old-fashioned cocktail was nice, and good as well. I enjoyed everything. Jake, my bartender, was great fun to talk to--very engaging with the customers and had some good conversations. So, if you're in the upper Greenville area or around Greenville, go check them out if you want a good burger and to meet Jake. read more

We tried this new spot that opened in Energy Square and it honestly blew us away. The service was amazing, fast, and friendly! We started with the cheese curds, which were super crispy and delicious, and our drinks (the Hurricane and the Margarita) were both spot-on. They had TVs everywhere to watch the game at any angle you were sitting. I had the Jake Special and my husband got the Patty Melt. Both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The onion rings might actually be the best in Dallas... no exaggeration. And do not skip dessert. The funnel fries were better than the State Fair, and the strawberry sauce and maple syrup for dipping were the perfect touch! Prices were really reasonable for Dallas, especially considering the quality of both the food and drinks. Shout out to our server Deven for amazing service!! Bonus: they offer free parking validation, which is a lifesaver if you're driving. We'll definitely be back! read more

I have eaten at this Jakes Burger restaurant on Greenville Ave. three times and this time I had to say something about the food and service. It's was terrible ! In the past times that I've eaten a hamburger there at Jakes it wasn't that good with tasting salty, heavy pepper and greasy. So this time I ordered their chicken strips dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. The Chicken strips were cold, over cooked and dry. Mashed potatoes had that instant potatoes taste then the green beans were soggy, mushy and over cooked or they had been sitting there for a good while. Like I said, terrible food. Then the service, we had to ask for refills on our drinks every time, it never came natural for any of the waiters to refill our drinks, never came around to see if things were good or okay. It's just a bad choice of restaurant. No more next time for me, plus it just isn't me complaining about everything, there was 11 of us for lunch and we all said the same thing about this location on Greenville Ave. read more
