    Shrimp cocktail
    Lan L.

Ate here out of convenience. Felt like an upscale Perkins with the decor and one server running the entire restaurant. Our server was nice but slow. Red wine she recommended was not full bodied as I preferred and was not very tasty. Ordered the cream of mushroom and chicken wild rice soup. Very standard, nothing amazing but hit the spot. Had the shrimp cocktail and the sauce was sort of chunky though the shrimp was big and plump. Pork chop dish came before the salad which was odd. So when the salad came out after we had the pork chops, we didn't eat much of it. The steak was very chewy so that didn't help. If you like mediocre food, then go at it. But I wouldn't be back unless it's out of convenience again.

The service was great. Food tasted microwaved. Fish was mushy, rice had no flavor, green beans were good with lemon on them. Nice staff.

Service was excellent and my steak salad was so good!! I'll be back for breakfast!!!

Walleye coated with Panko crumbs, rice pilaf, and mixed vegetables. Delicious!

I ate here last Friday night, because I was waiting for my wife to fly in, and it was a very handy location. I ordered the walleye and it was delicious! It came with rice pilaf and mixed vegetables, and it was quite feeling. I received two large pieces of well I sautéed with Panko crumbs, and it was not greasy at all. The waitress was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the meal.

French dip (do not pay attention to the thumb prints in the bread.)

Ok, nothing special, over priced. The menu tried to be fancy but does not quite make it.

Service sucks. Not much more to say than that. Service staff seemed miserable. I was ignored for a long time. Service just really sucked.

The inside is quite swank, featuring a pretty large bar area on the right when you first enter. We were there for a sit-down dinner, so we proceeded around the left to the counter to get a table. I noticed this place must have a decent loyal following because of the merch you could purchase there at the counter (tee shirts, hats, sweat shirts, etc)! It wasn't too busy despite it being Friday night, so we got a table right away. It was really hard to pick what I wanted off the menu because A LOT of the options looked deliciously tempting (just gonna have to go back), but I eventually decided on a shrimp pasta, and that was the RIGHT choice. Mmm, so good! And a decent portion for the price too, as I took half of it home in a to-go box. I was pleased by the speed at which they got our order ready, as well as how attentive the server was (my in-laws suck down iced tea like no one's business, but she managed to keep them topped off regularly). The parking lot is interesting, as it has above ground and underground parking (probably nice to have the option to go below during the snowy winters around here). It shares the parking lot with a grocery and some other things, which felt a bit cramped, but as I said, we happened to be there when it wasn't too crowded somehow.

We knew they offered brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM on weekends. We asked if we could order from the lunch menu, and our server, Noel, said that would likely be fine, although they usually do not start serving lunch until noon. She went and got lunch menus for us, and it was not an issue at all. It was really nice of her to go above and beyond for us! We had not been to this restaurant before, and there were a few things on the lunch menu that we specifically wanted to try. We had backup choices from the brunch menu just in case. Any other server could have simply said, "No, we do not start serving lunch until noon." Instead, Noel was fantastic and made it possible for us to order from the lunch menu. We really appreciated her making the extra effort. The vibe of the restaurant is also really nice. It is quite large, and there are windows everywhere. All of the employees were incredibly kind and welcoming as well. The bathrooms were clean and had paper towels instead of only air dryers, which I appreciate. We started with the Crab Queso. I really enjoyed it, although not quite as much as my wife did. They describe it as queso, but it is really more of a hot, cheesy crab dip. The chips they serve with it were fantastic as well. My wife described it as the best crab dip she has ever eaten and a top-three queso she has ever had. We have had a lot of queso, so that is a pretty high bar! I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich at the Nashville Hot spice level. It was absolutely fantastic. It was not the best Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich I have ever had, but it was good enough to make me want to order it again. There was one slight mistake with my order. The sandwich comes with chips, and you can upgrade to fries or other sides for an additional cost. I told our server that the chips were fine, but when I got my plate, it came with fries, and there was an extra $1 charge on the bill. I did not complain because a dollar is not a big deal, and the fries were actually fantastic. However, it was still a small mistake since I did not ask for the upgraded fries. My wife got the Jambalaya and said she really liked it as well. I tried a little and enjoyed it, but I do not think Jambalaya is really my thing. They have a few locations around the Twin Cities, and we already want to go back to one of them. I want to try their Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles, along with several other items on the menu. There were also several appetizers that sounded great. They do charge a credit card service fee, but it was not nearly as much as I have seen at other establishments. It looked like it was only about a $2 difference compared with paying cash. Normally, this is something that really irks me. I generally deduct a star when restaurants pass credit card fees on to the customer. However, the customer service, food, atmosphere, and overall experience made it impossible for me to give them anything other than five stars. Absolutely fantastic. Check this place out!

The inside is beautiful and made for a really nice dining experience. We started with the Eichten's cheese curds, and they were excellent. They were soft on the inside, some had a great cheese pull, and the spicy dipping sauce paired really well with them. I ordered the Flat Iron Frites. The steak was seasoned well, cooked nicely, and didn't have much fat, which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. I usually don't even like ketchup, but this one was actually really good. My partner ordered the deviled eggs as his appetizer, and he enjoyed them so much he finished them in no time. For dessert, we had the Strawberry Shortcake Crème Brûlée, and it was fantastic. I've never had crème brûlée like that before. It was a unique twist on a classic dessert and ended the meal perfectly. The only small downside was that the complimentary water tasted clean and fresh. But it was warm instead of cold. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great experience, and I'd happily return. Glad i was able to cross this one off of my list.

During my stay, I enjoyed breakfast, the bison empanadas, ice cream, margaritas, and espresso martinis, everything was delicious and well prepared. Many hotel bars are known more for their drinks than their food, but this one exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of both the food and beverages was outstanding, and the service was great as well. I would highly recommend stopping by whether you're staying at the hotel or just looking for a great place to eat and enjoy a cocktail. Can't forget the ambience! It was great.
