Jalapeños under new management food so delicious

Under new management food is delicious and service is number one. We order Tacos and Enchiladas taste is very good

    Cilantro was old and yellowish

We used to like this restaurant but visited them last Friday and was disappointed. Ordered the mini tacos asada ( pork) . The flavor is bland just probably salt and pepper. Didnt have the. Mexican flavor. The meat was gamy . Just tasted one and the three tacos took home and threw it away. The menudo was very salty.Customer service was great.the cilantro was old ,wilted. See picture.

Good food served hot and most items made to order. Good variety of breakfast tacos and good variety of food options

So good that I forgot to take a photo before I ate it all up! Best beans in SA. Flavorful & delicious!

The food is so good that I forgot to take a picture... Started eating the second it was served. Delicious roasted peppers and onions, the most flavorful beans I've had in SA by far, and tortillas were super soft and sturdy. By far one of my favorite new places to eat.

I didn't catch our waitress's name, but she was very attentive and fun. The burger I got was the Hangover, which lots of places have now, but this one was a little different in that it had hash browns, an egg, and bacon. The hash browns were a really nice addition. I added an extra patty and upgraded to the jalapeno cheese bun. It normally comes on TX toast which I think would be equally tasty. Not the absolute best burger I have had, but it was solid! I doubt you'd be disappointed, but not sure you would say this is the new heavyweight champ. The onion rings were very good. Sweet potato fries were a little lacking. Wife for the BLT...awesome with a solid amount of bacon, and my mom got the Rueben and it was as good as any I have had. Cool spot, add it to your list!

From the moment we stepped into 6 Klicks Cafe, the vibe was immediate--warm, welcoming, and real. Not forced, not corporate. Just genuine energy. The kind of place where you already know you're about to eat good before you even see the menu. The Food I ordered the grilled chicken marsala, and they didn't just throw it on a plate--they presented it. Everything looked intentional. * Chicken cooked perfectly * Sauce was on point * Mashed potatoes? Had me wanting the recipe after one bite * Green beans with sausage and onion--straight comfort food I also tried the chicken tenders, fries, and Texas toast--everything was done right. Crispy where it needed to be, flavorful across the board. Portion size? Let's be real, it felt like they made the plate for two people. ________________________________________ ‍ Service Service was top-tier. * Greeted immediately * Server knew the menu and helped us decide * Drinks came fast (shoutout to that blackberry tea ) * Food came out in under 10 minutes No waiting, no confusion, no "let me check on that" energy. Just smooth. ________________________________________ Atmosphere This place has identity. It's not trying to be trendy--it's authentic. You can feel the story behind it. Veteran-owned, patriotic, and built with intention. It's the kind of spot where you could sit, eat, and talk for hours without feeling rushed. Family vibe all day. ________________________________________ Price vs Value Not the cheapest--but worth it. When the portions are big, the food is made right, and the experience is solid... the price makes sense. ________________________________________ Final Verdict 10/10 (with no real complaints) This isn't just somewhere you eat. This is somewhere you go when you want real food, real service, and a real atmosphere. I'll definitely be back I'd recommend it without hesitation Not a one-and-done spot--this is a regular rotation type place

The coffee was smooth, and the staff worked well as a team. They were attentive and knowledgeable about both the menu and the restaurant's history. We learned that the restaurant is run by a chef duo and that their baker starts around 4 a.m. preparing the day's baked goods. We ordered the Yolkster and the Dirty South. The Yolkster showed solid technique. The hollandaise was glossy, properly emulsified and balanced between richness and acidity. The over-easy egg released a perfectly fluid yolk, while the scratch-made English muffin was nicely browned and crisp outside with a tender interior. The bacon was a little overdone for me, but the chicken sausage was a pleasant surprise with a nice balance of acid and salt. The Dirty South looks heavy when it arrives, but the dish comes together surprisingly well. The sausage gravy was one of the better versions I've had in a while. Good consistency, proper color, plenty of sausage and none of the raw or scorched flour taste that can ruin a gravy. The biscuit was dense but fully cooked with visible layers. The potatoes could have used more exterior crispness. The pico brought a welcome freshness and acidity that cut through the richness of the gravy, biscuit, egg and cheese. A little more would have helped maintain that balance throughout the dish. What impressed me most was the technique behind all that personality. Scratch-made breads, properly cooked eggs, a well-made hollandaise and carefully prepared sausage gravy show a kitchen paying attention to the fundamentals. I left curious about the rest of the menu. Next time, I'm trying the pancakes.

My mom and I had a great brunch at Box St All Day with her ordering the smoked Gouda pasta salad with salmon and me ordering the Steak with frites. Both meals were great, however my steak was a bit too rare when I ordered medium-rare and the eggs had the whites a bit undercooked as well. The mimosa I ordered was stronger than I expected but it still tasted nice. The highlight of the meal was the Berry Me Softly cocktail which the bartender recommended to me! Delicious and not too tart.

I stopped eating it immediately, cut it open to check, and returned to the restaurant to request a refund. While I appreciate that my refund was processed, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. The employee who assisted me was dismissive from the moment I walked in. When I tried to show my receipt, I was cut off and told it wasn't needed. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, especially considering I was returning food due to a legitimate food safety concern. What bothered me most was the complete lack of an apology or acknowledgment of the issue. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. Instead, as I was leaving the restaurant, I overheard the employee loudly telling the kitchen that I was "complaining" about my food being raw, despite the fact that I was still within earshot. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. Undercooked food can be an honest error. However, customer service is how a business responds when something goes wrong, and unfortunately this experience was handled very poorly. Because of both the food issue and the way I was treated, I will not be returning.
