This is close to the house and great reviews on Yelp. Keep in mind they don't have their hours but close early ( 2pm ) on Sunday's and Monday's. Open till 8pm every other day. I had the dinner plate with three chicken tacos. Comes on fresh corn tortillas that were homemade. Comes with beans and rice for $7.99. The chicken was fresh and loved that it was shredded. My girlfriend got the Angelica's burrito. It's pork and was amazing! lol fresh ingredients and fresh tortilla. This place is nothing fancy but very friendly and well kept secret. I give it 5 stars for great tortillas and a huge taco for breakfast, but the big reason is NO BROWNED scrambled Eggs. I hate that over cooked egg taste that seems to be the norm everywhere else. They were out of medium sauce and hot was too hot. But green wasn't spicy at all but yielded a great flavor. Hubby had 2 huge burritos with eggs cheese bacon on one and sausage egg and cheese. He enjoyed the sausage much more than the bacon which he felt was under cooked and seemed more like ham consistency. Off putting. That was our o my complaint. Parking is not very good but once I got in the service was quick so was in and out in 10 minutes. The people were friendly, the inside is small but definitely want to eat in one day to get the full experience. I was sad they didn't have any pastor but was very satisfied with their barbacoa! Not a fan of Mexican food as we eat it in Texas, but this place isn't "as we eat it in Texas." Eating at this "hole in the wall" is like eating in Mexico. Freshly cooked, reasonable portions, a variety of meat choices, and everything is not loaded/covered in or served with refried beans, cheese and rice. If you want salsa, 3 are available for you to serve yourself. And if you need to practice your Spanish, you can do it here. I've had the tortas, the soft tacos and a few other things, and yesterday had Angelica's Burrito. Not a cilantro fan either but it was in the burrito and I refuse to make any modifications to anything before I try it the first time as it's served, and it was AMAZING! Only drawback is very limited # of tables and I had to remove the used paper plates from a table & wipe it with a paper towel to get a seat because everyone was busy - even at 1:30P - but for a great $6.25 burrito, I can handle a little wiping. read more

Probably one of the few authentic Mexican food locally without having to actually drive to poor neighborhoods like arlignton or Irvine to get some quality Mexican. This place has great carne Asada tortas for a decent price. Their breakfast burritos are cheap n delicious. I would stay away from their Menudo, unless you like can menudo. Coffee is also not worth buying, but it's okay they have plenty of other beverages to choose from, but seriously try the coffee at your own risk. read more

It is small with only a few tables inside (most people were picking up to-go orders). You order and pay at the counter then you can fill up plastic cups with fresh salsa. When my order was, ready I was skeptical because it was only eggs, onions, and tortilla strips. No tomatoes or fancy stuff, but when I tried it they were out of this world good! Fresh, homemade, and simple. The potatoes were these spiral concoctions that were great to add to my migas. They were freshly peeled and cooked.
