A hidden treasure with amazing pizza! First off, I am not a fan of a super thin crust nor am I a fan of Provel cheese. If you are like me, then Jalisco's is the place for you! Handmade cornmeal crust that is not too thick or thin and 100% mozzarella cheese! I got the veggie pizza and it had a good amount of toppings. My boyfriend got the Jalisco pizza and he said it was one of the best he has had; tender beef and the dipping sauce was perfect!! The place is small, maybe 10 tables. Our server showed a true passion for the food. He gave a detailed descriptions and told us about how where he comes from that is how they make things. Overall a great food experience!!

Opened February 2023, this restaurant offers a unique fusion of pizza with Mexican toppings. They combined two of my favorite types of food to make a great product. On my first visit I tried the Jalisco Pizza which could be called a Birria Pizza. Birria tacos are incredibly good and so was this pizza. The toppings are: tender beef, ooey cheese, adobo sauce, onions, and cilantro, with a side of beef consommé. The pizza crust was baked to a nice golden brown color with great flavor. The pizza sauce seemed like a traditional Italian red sauce and had good flavor as well. A must try! I'll be back to try some other mashup pizzas such as the al pastor pizza.

If you love pizza and you love tacos, this is your spot! Ordered a large 1/2 Jalisco (comes w/ consomme to dip in!) and 1/2 beestek pizza. The cheese pull!!! Both of the meats on each half was nicely seasoned and juicy. Dipping the Jalisco pizza in the dip was heaven. You're given 4 sauces for your pizza. My fave was the red salsa one (mild) which tastes pretty standard with tacos. Service was good. I took one star off because the women's bathroom door knob was broken so I had to use a door stopper to help prevent someone from coming in. There were also some gnats flying around inside which I had to frequently shoo away. I'll still come back tho!

Pretty cool that there's a place that specializes in pizzas with Mexican food toppings. We ate in and ordered the namesake Jalisco pizza. It's a thinner crust (sorta hand tossed in thickness) with a nice chew to it. The Jalisco pizza is a birria topping, with savory stewed beef and a healthy amount of diced cilantro & onion. If you're a cilantro fan like me, you'll enjoy it. The beef was also generous and tender, and there's a dark red sauce drizzled to add to the birria flavor. A cup of consomme/broth is provided for each person that you must dip the crust into, for the full birria experience. The crust holds up well to the dipping. Four sauces are provided to dress the pizza, a mild verde, a semi-mild red sauce, a creamy/smoky chipotle (my favorite), and a mustardy spicy sauce if you need a kick. This pizza was excellent all around and a must order. We also got toasted ravioli for an appetizer. Sadly, this was just okay, even slightly disappointing. The ravs had a warm interior, but the outside could have used more crispiness/cooking in my opinion. The marinara was typical but a bit bland.

Yes. 100% yes. I only had pizza, so I can't speak to everything on the menu, but the Jalisco pizza with slow cooked beef and beef consomme was 10/10. I don't even like onion, but I loved it on this pizza with Cilantro and salsa. The pizza comes with 4 sauces, a mustard base, creamy chipotle, salsa verde, and a salsa Roja. I couldn't decide if I liked the salsa verde or consomme best. The crust is homemade, plenty of cheese, and great toppings. The staff was friendly and quick and wanted to make sure we enjoyed everything. They carry a good selection of Mexican sodas. I only wish I lived closer because I would stop here weekly. It was that good.

First impressions. It is In a small strip mall with other restaurants. Parking right out front. No alcohol. Nothing to write home about. Looks better than it was. We ordered the Jalisco pizza and was shocked when it came to the table in about 15 min. It resembled a thicker crust frozen pizza that was heated and topped with braised meat, cilantro and onion. Very bland on the flavor. The dipping sauce was flavorless. Garlic rolls need help too. Not worth the $27 Would have been better on a very thin crust almost like a tortilla. Date of visit 8/5/23 This is a new place( opened in February'23 )

Half Jalisco, half Al Pastor. All delicious.

I tried Jalisco shortly after they opened earlier this year and honestly I wasn't overly impressed. We ordered the birria (Jalisco) pizza and it was about $30 which is a little steep for a pickup order. It had shredded marinated beef, cheese, onions and cilantro. I think there may have been red sauce but it was light which in this mashup of taco and pizza is probably good. However the cheese was light too which made the pizza a little dry. I'm glad I gave them a second chance because this time I ordered half Jalisco and half Al Pastor (marinated pork) and it was nearly perfect. The combination of cheese, slightly chewy but light crust, and lots of meat were pure magic. The consume dipping sauce for the birria side was a great addition, as were the other sauces (4) included in the box. Give this small business owner a try. I'm anxious to return and try other menu items.

I've never had Mexican style pizza before and I gotta say the Birria style Jalisco special is fantastic!! It came with 4 sauces in addition to the Birria au jus and each one created its own unique flavor. Ultimately, I favored the au jus. Looking forward to going back and trying the Al pastor and others!Birria Pizza

You know I love pizza so when I saw Jalisco Pizza had opened I put it on my to-do list. I was there on a Friday evening. When we walked in we were the only table but by the time we left it was about full. It is a former Stef's Pizza so it's not a huge space. We ordered 1/2 Al Pastor pizza and 1/2 Jalisco (birria) pizza. It came with a green salsa, a red salsa, a chipotle sauce, and a Chimichurri. I tried the green and red salsas and they didn't have too much flavor. So the Al Pastor side of the pizza was dry. It had a decent flavor but the meat was just a bit dry. The birria side was better. If you're familiar with birria you know it's a slow cooked meat served with a consommé for dipping. Instead of a consommé this had a gravy on it that was a little thicker. All in all it was much more moist and flavorful than the Al Pastor side of the pizza. I don't think the pizza needed the tomato sauce at all. It clashed with the Mexican flavors. Also, I felt like the crust was short on flavor. Not sure if they are making it from scratch even but it could have used some salt. The menu here is kind of odd. I think since they are serving the Mexican proteins on the pizza why wouldn't they also serve some kind of tacos with the proteins? I thought it odd that they have things like cold sub sandwiches and spaghetti & meatballs on the menu. All in all we are glad we gave this a try. I'm probably at like a 3.5 but I'll round up to 4. My dinner date would have preferred they have a liquor license but alas, they do not.

This place is a Treasure! I always try the pepperoni pizza at a new place so there's a standard measure against other pizzas and the pepperoni pizza was great. But I have never had such a bad case of buyers remorse after I saw a table eating the Jalisco pizza. I read some reviews on line while I was waiting for my pepperoni to cook and I almost placed a second order. First of all, the crust is unique. It is soft without being wimpy which makes sense when you realize several of the "regional" pizzas come with a consume for dipping! Loaded with meat, cheese, fresh cilantro AND each pizza comes with 4 house made sauces on the side for adding to your pizza. What a great idea, a fusion of regional Mexican flavors with everyone's favorite food PIZZA! I just hope they will open one in St. Louis county soon...I live Really far away from this fabulous place. The service is as good as the food and though there's not much seating, it has a real neighborhood feel. Set a pin in the place, you have to try it

Leo is the owner ,chef, waiter and anything else needed to run his restaurant. He is so friendly and funny. The pizza was delicious.!! We had half Jalisco pizza and half Hawaiana pizza. The cheese was awesome and flavor top notch! We also ordered the wings for appetizers. Couldn't decide on sauce so we had it on the side. Mango habanero and BBQ.. The wings were so good you can even eat them plain! The restaurant was clean and had my favorite soda! Everyone needs to come visit Leo at 3831 Elm st in st Charles !!

However, an incident happened recently that has now complicated my love for them. I ordered two burritos for delivery recently and one ended up being wrong. It was supposed to be a Burrito Americano with shredded chicken, something I've had before. What came had ground beef and no red sauce, so I figured it was an entirely different burrito and called to let them know mine might have been swapped with someone else's. I understood that there was a good chance it wasn't getting replaced because I couldn't drive up to get another one, and yes that ended up being the case, but what got me was the guy on the phone said "oh sorry, on our tablets where we receive orders, we couldn't see that you made a meat selection so we just chose one." I confirmed that wasn't the case on my end. So one, that's crazy. Two, we've ordered from them before and that hasn't been a problem. Three, if that's true, how am I supposed to trust that I'll ever get what I ordered? So I don't know if they're not taking responsibility for their mix up for if they have a new system that's going to cause a lot of issues. But either way, I'm not thrilled and I'm probably done with them.

It is a bit of a drive for us and I don't see a return visit in the future. Ms T ordered a quesadilla with chicken. The tortilla was dry. The cheese and chicken were skimpy, coming nowhere near the edge of the tortilla and the chicken was just cooked chicken with no seasoning, no salt. My huevos rancheros came with the strangest salsa on them. They were served with a tortilla underneath, which is as they should be, but the sauce was almost clear, like broth thickened with cornstarch. It had a bit of tomato, but no chile and no seasonings. It was what I call wallpaper paste for anyone old enough to know what that is. The refritos and rice were fine, not remarkable. The guacamole was decent, not an onion bomb. I also ordered a side of carnitas, which would have been good had they not been served at room temperature. I asked for corn tortillas and received more of the dry flour tortillas that Ms T had for her quesadilla. The salsa served with the complimentary totopos was the best thing of the meal but that does not warrant a return visit.
