Thirty plus years ago, I was an employee at this Circle K in Upland. Yep, I used to work at a convenience store. They are story only... no gas station. Upon entry, I was amazed on how well kept it is. Bright and clean inside. Shelves were stocked and organized. They now have a beer cave. I said, WOW! After so many years, it looks better than ever. I strolled through all the aisles. It brought back so many great memories! When I worked here, it was a corporate store. Now it is a franchise. I was lucky to meet one of the franchise owners, Kevin. Super friendly and nice guy. I wish him and his brother all the very best in making this the best Circle K in town. Staff was amazing, too! I couldn't resist and had to buy something to support them. I got one of my favorite candy, Reese's Pieces, and $7 worth of scratchers. I still haven't scratched them. I'll save the scratch for Christmas Day. It was great to receive some wonderful nostalgia during my visit. I'll return to visit from time to time when I'm in the Upland area. Happy Circle K!

The cashier eventually came up and silently rang up my order. The only acknowledgment I existed was the items her scanned otherwise I have had more interactions with a self check out. They charge a $0.40 service fee for using a card. A bit high. This location has a Thrifty ice cream counter. Would I stop at this location again ? Yes if I needed something quick . Would I pass up an other convince store to go to this one ? No.
