The former Eggspectation location has reopened as Jams. They have brightened up the interior which I nice and added addition seating also a positive. The location is very clean looking but a little cramped compared to the openness of the prior occupant. We sat for a while waiting for a server but when she finally came she was pleasant and took our orders quickly. Took a little long to get our drinks but not horrible. Food took longer than we expected but again not bad. I had the BALT basically a BLT w/avocado that was good but nothing special. My wife enjoyed the Havarti chicken sandwich. This is advertised as a brunch restaurant but the menu selections are limited and not as varied or imaginative as Eggspectations. We'll be back but will miss the great food we received at Eggspectations and the Happy Hours since Jams closes at 4. read more

WHATEVER you do DON'T let them sit you in the back dining room - IT IS TERRIBLE!! We dined here on a weekend afternoon and will give second thoughts about returning. It took about 30 minutes before we were sat in a JAM packed back room in seats that had absolutely no space from one table to the next. If that wasn't bad enough this room was one of LOUDEST spaces we've ever experienced at a restaurant. Yelling, hollering and just flat out loud from all the other tables around us, it was miserable and nothing like the ambiance of the main restaurant. It was impossible to have a conversation with our party and our poor server (who was fine) had a tough time hearing our order. Wow! Where do I start? They have a very reasonably priced menu with a variety of food and beverage offerings to include specialty coffees, and offer brunch on Saturdays (not just Sundays). There is more than ample seating, and my party of 4 (including 2 kids) were seated right away on a Saturday morning. I wasn't holding my breath for if (or when) my toddler would spontaneously start acting his age because the restaurant is very kid friendly. The service was prompt and friendly, the decor is hip and bright, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Delicious. We had seasonal strawberry bruschetta which was sort of small but very tasty. Followed with 2 benedicts- the boca raton and the cajun. Both were excellent. Even the coffee was good. I had a slight issue with the poach on my eggs and the server immediately offered to remake the whole dish. I declined as it was a minor issue but the manager stopped by to also offer to do whatever I wanted to fix it. The dish was so good the slight difference in the eggs had no impact. Came here for the first time yesterday for brunch and the food was really good! Service was great as well, I really liked our server. I appreciated that as a party of 8, they were able to split our bills so we each paid for our own food. Plenty of parking, with outside seating. I got the stuffed French toast with scrambled eggs on the side and I added fruit (bananas, strawberries and blueberries) to it as well. I got orange juice and I tried a friend's crab dip, I loved the presentation for that, in the bread bowl! So cute. They do automatic gratuity for large groups (as most restaurants do). And it was packed! They are very popular, and I will say it is well deserved. Try to make a reservation, so you don't have a long wait! Prices are actually pretty low! I paid $32 for everything I got including the automatic gratuity and tax. They have a drinks menu with things like seasonal offerings (spiked apple cider etc), and spiked coffee among other things. Near the front is a dessert case with a lot of tasty looking things. My French toast was pretty sweet so I didn't need to grab any more dessert but it looked delicious! Lots of big windows and natural light. There is something on the menu for everyone, whether it's toast, eggs Benedict, seafood, sandwiches, omelettes you name it! The service is top notch with them refilling your drinks and making sure you are ok without asking every 2 seconds! Our server was Mariah...she was so sweet, attentive, and gave us the best service. The decor is bright and welcoming. It is spacious and the open design is friendly as can be. Now the food O M G, in my opinion is very very good! From what I've experienced the home fries are flavored well and are delicious. The Turkey sausage isn't dry and is also well flavored. The star of the show though is drumroll.... THE FRENCH TOAST! It is the best French toast I have ever had and to me it's all about their syrup. I don't know where they get that syrup from but it's amazing. The food was excellent. This place is in the old Eggspectation location and aside from a few cosmetic changes, has maintained the same configuration. What's clear is that they can cook, Breakfast arrives hot and just as ordered. Presentation is as the pictures show, eye-catching with great coloration and appeal. Servers are polite and attentive. When we asked for "To-Go" cups to pour our coffee, server brought us cups with hot coffee in them. What customer service! Only reason the place doesn't get a five is that it was too loud. It's not something they can really fix, but I had to sit on the same side as my date to hear properly. Otherwise, we are definitely going there for breakfast again soon. read more

Tik tok made me do it and I'm glad we did! After seeing a tik tok about this place I knew we had to try. We kind of went on a whim so we didn't place our name on the waitlist, will next time though, and had a 30'ish minute wait. Everyone was extremely friendly and our waitress was extremely attentive to us. We got the deviled eggs to start and they were so good - had a sweetness to them. We both got brunch entrees and agreed they were delicious. I got a mimosa flight and my husband got an americano to drink.
