I ordered oatmeal and a double shot of wheat grass, oatmeal was fine. The wheatgrass however took 3 girls to get the machine to work, every attempt made this horrific grinding noise like the machine was put together wrong. After multiple attempts I thought this machine was about to explode, finally someone came over and made a successful shot of wheat grass but knowing how the previous attempts went I asked if there was any possibility there was metal shavings from the grinding components potentially in the shot, she giggled and said no, but being an engineer and knowing the probabilities, I wasn't willing to take the risk and said no thank you. Maybe it's just me but 5$ for a shot of metal shards didn't seem like the best way to get the day started. Just wish I could've gotten a refund or a smoothie or something. read more

I used to work at Jamba Juice and really enjoy the bowls. Stopped by this Jamba Juice since I was making a visit to Serramonte. Was beyond disappointed by the unprofessional attitude and manners the employees had. I've been here multiple times and this was the only time seeing this level of unprofessionalism. The first thing I noticed upon entering the store was two employees or friends of employees that were making drinks with no type of uniform or cap or apron on. Second thing was that NONE of the employees were following dress codes. No one had a cap on. No one had an apron on. No one had acceptable bottoms on. No one had non slip shoes on. Everyone was in untucked shirts with leggings or sweatpants on as if they woke up and showed up to work. I get that they were close to closing so I disregarded everything I saw. What happened next that disappointed me was the fact that all the workers decided to talk together rather than make the two orders that were just placed. They talked for about 5 minutes before the employees that were off left. Then the orders finally started being made by an employee that was eating a lollipop at the same time she was making the drinks. It is beyond gross to make my order while eating at the same time. It's a Jamba Juice! Can't really say much about it. It was really crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but it IS in a mall. Sort of. You can't get to it from inside the mall. Went here on Sunday to grab a drink for my mom, and noticed that the prices went up O_O Over 4.50 for a size sixteen smoothie. My sister tried the mango parfait they had, and it wasn't as flavorful as I thought. The mango pieces in there were a bit sour too. So disappointed with this location. I am a major Jamba enthusiast, I'm all about it! However, I was not at all impressed with this particular visit. Purchased a strawberry chunky bowl. Compared to the Redwood city location or the San Carlos location it definitely does not taste the same. Seemed like it was the supervisor who made it. I bought : 1 original peach pleasure 2 kid banana strawberry Cost almost 12 dollars! Friendly(1 star) only goes so far if the Peach Pleasure is on the outside of the cup, dripping on the outside, the paper on the straw is soaked with juice as the employee handed it over... The signs don't share everything they sell. I ordered a large green tea blast from past memory and luckily one of the employees remembered how to make it. i love jamba juice and the toppers, so when the bf and i went shopping around serramonte, i decided that i was going to order the berry topper. i'm from san jose and have gone to various jamba juice locations around here. ive had all the toppers they have and my fav is the mango peach. thinking that all jamba juice locations should taste the same, i decided to order the 12oz berry topper and the bf had the 12oz mango peach topper. first off, our 12oz cups were only filled half way...halfway, even with granola and bananas on top! second, mine wasn't blended all the way and i was biting into the frozen fruits. third, it just tasted like something was missing. it had a very plain taste that ive never experienced eating a topper. i was very disappointed because toppers are my favorite thing to order at jamba juice and this location just killed it. read more
