I noticed while I waited to place my order that the menu seemed to have been updated just a bit in comparison to my last visit here. I have an unhealthy love for Target, and when I spotted a Jamba Juice next to it, of course I had to go in. The good: + New hot green tea latte. Seriously delicious, and it's nice to see Jamba updating their menu. + Flatbreads. The smokehouse chicken is pretty good, but can you please make it bigger than the size of my palm? Thanks. + Wraps. I've only had the chimichurri chicken one, but it makes for a good meal on the go. Just remember to get the sauce underneath the packaging. + Most of their smoothies are good. I always ask for extra banana (depending on the location, it's anywhere from $0.50 to $0.75 more, and they give it to you in a bigger cup. + Oatmeal. My favorite is the berry one, and I ask for it with light fruit and extra crumble. Mmmm. I wish this came in different sizes, because I'd get a big huge bowl of it. The bad: - Service. One guy was probably a newbie and literally did not listen to a word I said. "I'll have a sixteen oz. green tea latte." "The heavenly?" "Um, yes. Your only green tea latte." This place should be located inside the Target since it seems most people hit up this place right before they get down and dirty with the shopping. Service here was super friendly. Drinks were definitely delicious. The line was pretty long but not too bad. We were in and out within 10 minutes. Again, Jamba Juice doesnt verbally offer free boosts anymore. We didnt even bother to ask since we thought they stopped that promotion. Lots of seating here if you decide you want to sit and chat. read more

I'm trying to figure out what happened to the rest of the drink I paid for. Why would I pay for a medium drink with extra boosts and receive what amounts to a small drink in a medium cup?!?! To add insult to injury, the chick at the register was rude as hell - there were drinks being blended in the background without the cover on the blender to mute the roar. The chick at the register read my order back to me; I couldn't hear what she was saying the first two times she read my order back to me. Rather than speaking up, she kept repeating the order back to me at the same volume that I couldn't hear her at the previous two times she read it back to me. I had to lean in across the register to try to hear what she was saying to me, which was rude as fuck. Bad move on their part. You only get one chance to make a first impression and they royally screwed this first experience of mine up. I am a VERY patient customer, but this was a bad experience from start to finish. I recently had food poisoning.. Not because of Jamba of course. I was limited on what I could eat depending on how much my stomach could handle. I had tried a couple places for healthy juices and although they were just as good and possibly better, I enjoyed the Citrus Kick Jamba had for sure. I do want to point out that the portions they give compared to specialized juicers are night and day. A 12oz $6-7$ juice at Jamba would run about $10-12 elsewhere. In terms of the nutrition aspect of it all, I'd have to do some research. Jamba currently holds the most bang for your buck for juices in my book. read more

3 major flubs on this visit: 1. Their carrot juice was out of order. But there is nothing to notify patrons of that fact. I tried to order the Orange Carrot Karma and had to change up my order quickly to avoid holding up the line. I ended up with the Tropical Harvest which was kind of meh...too similar to the Mango-a-go-go. 2. When my drink was delivered, there was at least 3/4" of space from the top...I felt ripped off. I mean this is just ice and fruit and maybe sorbet, it doesn't cost all that much to make your recipes fit the cup. 3. Prior to placing my order, the cashier was distracted by a crew member who wasn't on the clock yet/had just got off her shift. This is my preferred morning commute Jamba Juice location, versus the San Bruno location. Overall - they do a great job on friendly service and being peppy in the morning. Food - They are generous with the oatmeal and with the new-ish Spicy and Sweet Chicken flatbread - they heat it just right, about once every three times. Fresh Juice - While it is a bit pricey, they have good fresh juice selections - typically I get the 1, 3, or 6. (Fresh Juice is only offered at a few Bay Area locations.) Staff - There are a few awesome staff members, but I am not sure if the location is more of a training location, since the staff seem to change regularly and stay for a short period of time. The trainer is excellent and knows how to run this location. Tech - Jamba Juice has some loyalty programs at different stores, but not this one. Suggestion would be to get the loyalty program at this location. read more

First the guy taking my order had me repeat it three times because his attention was still focused on the previous order, then he forgot to prepare my breakfast wrap, but the icing on the cake was really when the guy making my smoothie screwed the lid on my plastic Jamba cup crooked and too tight and handed it to me like that. After a failed attempt at unscrewing it myself, I asked him do it for me. It took all three dudes working there to finally get it open... Just as my better-late-than-never spinach breakfast wrap was ready. As for the smoothies, about half the time, my Acai Super Antioxidant is too watery. Don't go to this location. Found foreign material in my Watermelon Breezer. Went back and they remade the cup and found more foreign material. The material was pieces of white nylon bristles which looked conspicuously like the cleaning brush they had hanging off the faucet. Most likely pieces of the brush they use to clean the blender bowls with.. I called to tell them this but the girl said to come back and they would remake my drink. Why would I want to come back? This is the worst ever jamba juice I have ever been to. It took about 10-15 minutes in order for me to get my order (I only ordered 1). I even went next door to Anderson's bakery, had a sandwich made and came back and it still wasn't ready. I've been to other ones where it took less than 5 minutes to get my order. Btw, I went one day in the evening time at 8pm and the workers were already closing up shop when it actually really closes at 9pm. They let us in but after we left they shut off the front lights so people would think they were already closed. This time for 3 drinks it took 15 minutes which it shouldn't even...considering we were the only customers. If I could give this place 0 stars...I would. 5 stars because they actually make the near-mythical "White Gummy Bear" flavor here. After all the talk on Yelp recently about the secret menu at Jamba, I had to try and see if they could make these unpublished flavors. I didn't have high hopes because it seemed like older Jamba Juices would be the ones who knew these flavors and this Serramonte Center one is pretty new. Luckily, I had a lull in work today and decided to come on over after craving something to drink. Wonder of wonders they totally knew what I was talking about when I asked for a "White Gummy Bear"... I was expecting them to look at like I was nuts. The girls were really nice when I peppered them with questions regarding the secret menu...apparently, they are old recipes that they no longer put on their menu because Jamba Juice is going towards a more "healthy" menu and things like the '"Pink Starburst" and others don't really jive with a "healthy" image. But they assured me that all these flavors exist and that they remain on the computer, meaning that as long as corporate suddenly does not decide to erase these flavors off their computers, I can order them until I'm sick of them. By the way, the "White Gummi Bear" is delicious- its a whole lot richer than their normal flavors as a result of the extra sorbet they put in. It was made quickly and for once at a JJ, i could taste the fruit and not the overly sugarfied sherbert... damn that's good.. Soo when I came in the girl was busy doing something with the cash. Which was totally fine. When she was done, she popped up and said "Hi". That's all. I ordered, and she put it in and didn't even say the total. I just happened to see it on the machine. After she took my money she walked away really quick. So I stood there waiting thinking it wasn't done. Another girl comes up and tells me that it was done. The thing is, the first girl didn't say ANYTHING but hi to me. Then walks away really quick without even saying anything making me think something was wrong. Very rude. Then I'm waiting and the other girl making the drinks sees her friends come in and calls out to them "What were you going to get", the friends respond and get out of line. (I see my drink just sitting there in the blender) she then goes back and gets the stuff ready for her friends "FREE DRINK". While I stare at my drink just sitting there. (It was a REALLY hot day so the wait for the drink seemed REALLY long) This was annoying because her friends weren't next in line, she stopped everything she was doing to make their "FREE" drink while there were paying customers who were ahead of them.
