Wow I haven't given a one star review in a while. I walked in on a Wednesday. Two people were working, making smoothies, two customers were waiting, there was no additional cashier. I've worked retail for years and I get it. It can be stressful and people can be difficult Here's my problem both of the employees saw me. I made eye contact w one several times I didn't get any acknowledgment not "Hi welcome in" " we will be right with you " Nothing. So after three or four minutes of waiting like this without a single person seeming to want my business, I literally walked out. I can't remember the last time I did that. Just okay for me. My drink was good, but service seemed slower than at other locations. Also, my cup wasn't filled up all the way. The table outside for sure needs a good cleaning. Terrible service!! Went inside and I had just got off my phone and was putting my keys and phone in my pocket with my mask in hand. The guy working there starts freaking out asking me to put on my mask. I said I will and I proceed to start putting it on and he tells me again and I'm not even close the the counter probably still 10 feet away. I have my mask on put in my order and than they tell me I have to wait outside for my drink when there is no one else in the building except for my self and daughter and the two employees and there signs specifically say how many people can be in there and we were well within the limits. I did not want the guy making my drink without me watching since he already looked pissed. No smiles or courteous talk from the employees. read more

A very small location. Since we are in a COVID-19 Pandemic they are only allow 3 people at a time. Luckily I had the Jamba Juice app just in case I wanted to order ahead to avoid the line. I have to say that this Jamba Juice was good. I came in this location on time to pick up my drink but it wasn't ready. They had apologize for not having my drink ready which I appreciated. I am not going to give this location a bad review. They did apologize for not having my drink ready on time. Eventually I will come back to this location again when I am in the area. read more

Very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a Greens and Ginger, replace lemonade with pineapple juice. And a protein berry workout. Upon taking a sip of my greens and ginger as I stepped outside---tasted like absolutely like water. I returned to the store and expressed perhaps they may have forgotten to put in the juice or the incorrect liquid, missing fruit or other ingredient. They made another whereby I requested to try with watermelon juice. Again nothing no flavor whatsoever. I was so puzzled. Again, mentioned there was absolutely no flavor. Not even the ginger.... By this point I requested to just make it as it should with the lemonade. The guy who made it developed an attitude and said maybe the kale was killing all the other flavors. Even after the third, I took it and told this guy it was better, but it was terrible---again no flavor. I'm not sure what was just not working at all with every attempt. All their juice flavors did not come through at all in the mix, nor any of the other ingredients. The ginger in the third as the guy added extra was about it. Or what he claimed was extra. Perhaps, it was close to closing and maybe they were shorting the ingredients. IDK...Even when the girl who made the first attempt and I observed the measure she made did not fit in the medium cup size I ordered I watched and stood in wonder why it was so off in the volume. Her measurements must have been totally off. I'm thinking too much ice in all cases. The protein berry too was also very bland. Absolutely in all levels of flavor. Or lack thereof. Such a disappointing experience in all cases. The two employees were not very pleasant considering they work in an environment which normally presents healthy and happy vibes. I understand from store to store there could be a slight difference in minor flavor differences. Tonight was a fail on all levels. Quality checks needed for sure. I've just witnessed racial discrimination and false advertising by this restaurant. I went to this Jamba juice and there was a sign in front that if you downloaded the jamba juice app you would receive $3 off your first order. I did so and eventually received my $3 off. My friend, who is a mature African American woman was a few customers behind me. The store manager denied her the $3 and said that it was only if you bought $10. My friend showed the manager the sign and pointed out that there was no reference to a minimum purchase. Nowhere in the billboard ad or the ad in the restaurant did it say anything about having to order $10 to get your $3. Unbelievable that in this day and age that a restaurant manager would act like that. I urge you not to go to this establishment. Ridiculous. I have visited various Juice Club and now Jamba Juice locations for the last 30 years. 90% of the time I make substitutions to my smoothies. For example instead of strawberries I prefer Blueberries. Instead of Raspberry Sherbet I prefer the the Non Fat Frozen Yogurt. Never, and I repeat never, in 30 years and hundreds of visits to Jamba Juices all over the country has a location tried to charge me for my substitutions. That is until today!! Congrats Lafayette location. You are all alone in thinking it's ok and standard to do this. When I questioned the worker he said we always charge for substitutions. Its summer, come on! Why is management allowing lack of staff during the busy season. These 3 ppl are all over the place trying to keep the lines down but it's not working. I'm also upset that the cashier punched a hole in my gift card right on the strip so it can't be swiped at other stores. Her reasoning was so stupid, made no sense. I'm going to be pissed if another jamba juice does not let me use my card. She said their system changed (Ok sure whatever no problem) but then said she punched a hole to show how many drinks I have left and that other stores will hole punch it as well. She also said that the cards never had to be swiped in the first place to get the discount and that it's just a button they push on the register. Wrong! I've had this card swiped at locations and had the remaining # of drinks left recorded on the bottom of my receipt. Cleanliness is a problem at this location: flies come in from time to time and the staff does nothing about it. (close the doors?!?) It's a good standard Jamba Juice. You walk in and go straight back to the register. Their menu is nicely sorted and tells you the ingredients and calories for each drink. You order, choose a free boost or pay for a fancier boost :)! You can also customize your drink. Ex. Different sorbet, add or subtract a fruit, different juice. I love the Caribbean Passion. They have food options too. I haven't tried any from this location. Along the right wall is the juice bar. You can see their ingredients, blenders, everything. You can also see that through their front window. The drinks are always good and have a smooth consistency. I've been to a different Jamba Juice that left fruit chunks! But never here. If you want a smoothie, breakfast, fresh orange and carrot juice, just stop by here! read more

I love Jamba Juice but this location sucks. The workers were unfriendly and not helpful at all. We had a to go order and when we went in to get it the girl said "it should be out soon" when in reality it was sitting on a shelf behind the counter for almost 20 minutes. We ordered two açai bowls and after waiting so long to get them they tasted terrible. The smoothie base tasted like olives and the fruit and other topics were not great as well. I don't do well with temptation. Sophomore year of college I ordered six boxes of Girl Scout cookies; one in each flavor. In a span of a week (and the week before my spring break in Rosarito, no less), I ate all six boxes. There's a reason there are no bikini shots from that vacation, and it's not just because I was scared of the cornrow braiders on the Mexican beach. Flash forward about four years, and I have learned to generally control my sweet tooth. Except for Jamba Juice, where of course each smoothie is a gazillion pseudo-healthy calories under the guise of being protein or calcium boosted. And then they had to go and make a "BUY SEVEN, GET ONE FREE" card. Bishes. So not only do I feel inclined to go to this location because it is the most efficient and friendly JJ I've ever encountered, but now I've succumbed to the oldest marketing trick in the book. I will get my free drink, even if it means sucking 2800 worthless calories through a straw. I just discovered this limited deal yesterday, and I already have only four smoothies to go. The place wasn't busy, only one person in line ahead of me, but it took several minutes for my order to be completed (and the customer behind me got her order well before me). Ordered our drinks EXTRA, EXTRA thick and even paid for additional frozen fruit to assure this was going to happen. I can forgive the young man at the register who was being trained by the management, however, I cannot forgive the manager for not making certain our drinks were as we ordered. Weak! Since I am with my daughter, I have learned not to make a big deal and ask for something to be re-made. I am learning to be more chill. I also know in the back of my mind I have Yelp! To move on from the 3star smoothie to the reason this Jamba Juice gets ONE star: poor customer service, an "I could care less attitude" and just plain wrong information. After this way too runny drink, I had to use the restroom. I walk in and ask. "No, we don't have a public one." I ask if they know where I can find one. The woman (shift manager?) tells me there are public ones behind the store and that no key is needed (I asked!). I make my way back there, rushing because...well...I drank a damn Jamba Juice...and the doors are locked. You need a key to get into it. Friggin' Jamba Juice, $5 a drink, Jamba Juice is too CHEAP to get a key for the restroom and put it on some chunky-no-one-will-steal key ring. Of course, it does not stop here because I want this incompetent person to know she gave incorrect information. I go in and tell her she was wrong, it needs a key and is she certain they don't have a key. She basically snorts at me and says "We have no public restroom." At this point, she was lucky I am not a few years older and a bit more senile (and was wearing underware) or I would have just went on the floor! I said "I am telling you so perhaps Jamba Juice can correct this and get a key or you stop giving out wrong information." Of course she just rolled her eyes and scoffed again. "Oh, there is one at McCaulou's." You could have told me that at the beginning especially when I asked about a key. From now on, when I want sugar with some protein (which Jamba Juice now charges for, whereas it use to be free) I will get a glass of milk from Pete's and go to See's to get a piece of candy.
