The people there are always helpful and seem to want to be there which is a rare thing to see at some other businesses. I like that they have managed to have tables and chairs inside as well as outside despite being smallish. They are in a shopping center with some other cool businesses, too. Oh, and 99% of the time they have my newest favorite flavor, Oreo n Cold Brew. This last time I was so happy and excited because the other BR that's closer to my home never seems to have it. I called the store on Oak Grove Road to order a cake for my wife's birthday. The young man that took the order was very professional and advised me to call back the next morning and speak to the manager to ensure it could be done in 48 hours. Next morning I was in the area, so I stopped in to confirm with the manager. First - I was scolded for calling in the order rather than doing it online. When I asked if it could be done, she brashly told me "Well I already started and you can go pay for it" WOW! Second - when the employee rang the cake up, she told him to add $5.00 to the price of the cake because I ordered pistachio ice cream. When I asked her why, she said because it's pistachio ice cream, so she needs to scoop it out of the tub! SERIOUSLY? I should had walked out immediately but it was the cake my wife asked for, so I took the abuse. But never again.........Unfortunately Yelp doesn't give out negative stars! read more

I've ordered cakes for various birthdays here several times, and they've always turned out great. We tried the simple rectangular ones with balloon decorations to two tiered unicorn cakes, and even a zombie unicorn cake. The cake portion (either white or chocolate) were dense and went well with the ice cream. The fam loves how easily these cakes are customizable from the type of cake, the ice cream flavor, and the overall design. My kids love cookies n cream so we've gotten that flavor countless times. We've also tried jamoca, and that one was great too - light in the coffee flavor, creamy, etc. Chocolate chip was OK, and chocolate or vanilla are always good options if you're into that. read more

I made an effort to visit Baskin Robbins after learning that they came up with a brand new flavor which was Ube Coconut Swirl. This was advertised as "Ube & Coconut flavored Ice Creams with an Ube flavored Swirl". When I was at the ice cream shop, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were other new exciting flavors that I was not aware they offered, such as Matcha Latte, Secret Admirer, and many more. It was so hard to just pick one. However, fortunately the staff at the store were so friendly and allowed me to taste test a couple of flavors, which helped me really decide what I really wanted. The Matcha Latte was pretty good, although I prefer the Matcha flavor to be more prominent and bolder. Well anyway, at the end I decided to go with double scoops of the Ube Coconut Swirl. The Ube Coconut Swirl for sure had very nice inviting colors, and I could see the Ube jam/swirl that they put in the ice cream. However, flavor-wise I did not really get Ube though. Instead, the coconut flavor was overtaking the entire ice cream, and the Ube flavor was overshadowed almost completely. If I closed my eyes, I would've guessed the flavor was just coconut. But I thought the ice cream was still really good. I thought it was very creamy, not overly sweetened, and I actually really liked the coconut flavor. I really think that they got the flavor right. And I'm not a big fan of coconut shreds, and there were some coconut shreds in that ice cream.... But strangely, I did not mind them, because the amount of the coconut shreds they put in there was just right. So, overall, I really really liked this ice cream. And let me just say that the staff at this Baskin Robbins location were super professional, friendly and nice. I had a super pleasant experience here yesterday. So yeah, I will go back to try their other flavors. read more

After many satisfying trips to this Baskin - Robbins, I was very disappointed today, 6/23/24 . The young Man who helped me was wonderful, but the women ( apparently the boss) was very rude and unhelpful. When I asked for a three scoop cone in a cup with two kinds of ice cream--a request that has been granted many times over the past years, I was told in an unpleasant tone that it would cost too much of the worker's time to give me what I asked for--even though there was no one else waiting to be helped. Apparently, ten dollars for a three scoop cone would not cover the extra two minutes it would have taken him to help me. This Baskin-Robbins has many employees who do understand the value of customer service; regrettably, this boss did not understand a basic tenet of good business. Staff is always friendly! The location is great and parking is super easy! My favorite flavor is Jamoca Almond Fudge! I have purchased several icecream cakes here and they are delicious! I went to pick up a birthday pie and wanted to get a scoop of ice cream as well, they definitely have ice cream available but you can only look at a list of the options, you can no longer see all the different flavors..which is fine but personally I like to see all the ice cream. The staff were nice and had the order ready as soon as I got there. He even gave me a happy birthday topper! Pictured below is the OREO ice cream pie with a brownie crust. They also have other flavor pies too, such as Reese's peanut butter cups or cookie dough! I usually come to this Baskin-Robbins, about twice a week. Every time I come, I am picking up my son from high school, usually around 3:30 PM. When I go into this location, there is only usually one or two people in there at that time. I do notice usually about 2 to 3 employees behind the counter that are all women. I cannot believe around that time of day, when it should be busy with kids getting out of school, that they are so slow. It seems like they move in slow motion, not really concerned how long people wait. Standing there watching is very frustrating. It seems like a lot of the time they're just wasting time doing something frivolous, just so that they don't have to help anyone. This particular location is in a busy intersection located near Traders Joe's. The staff here is always very friendly and lets you get your sample on. I am always in and out quickly. I wish they offered more coupons, their receipts allow you $1 off but they do expire rather quickly. This is a good place to treat your self to something sweet on a nice day.
