Yogurtland brings back a lot of memories from childhood and was always one of my favorite treats to get after spending the day out. It has been several years since I last stopped by, but the dispensers and layout are still how I remember it. Inside, it's a pretty efficient flow where you pick up your cup and then go down the line of machines to choose your flavors. One of the standouts for me was the matcha flavor, as it was light and not too sweet at all. I also really liked the s'more special edition flavor as it has a rich chocolate flavor. One of my favorites from childhood to now is the mango sorbet, which is very refreshing and the perfect choice to balance out the sweetness and richness of the other flavors. I also appreciate the selection of toppings offered because I can choose from fresh sliced fruit to candy pieces and caramel sauce or chocolate sauce on top. That's right! 8 machines = 16 flavors + 8 Twist combo= 24 flavors. This Yogurtland is in a small plaza, along with Habit Burger and Kokolo Donburi. I have been to Yogurtland locations in Mountain View, San Jose, Fremont and Alameda. This place is somewhat narrow, with limited indoor seating. But it does have alot of patio tables. Even though it's limited in space, it still has a full size counter for toppings and a green tiled wall of 8 machines. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I decided to try three twist combos. They were all delicious! Creamy smooth, with no icy bite. Little or no chalky after-taste. I don't usually get toppings. I only want to experience that soothing cold chill. March 25, 2024- Price per Ounce= 77 cents. they subtract 0.6 for the cup weight (tare) Cashier was very friendly and polite. She didn't ask if it was "for here" or "to-go," so I'm guessing there's no service fee for eating your fro-yo inside. FYI, some locations charge an extra service fee if you eat inside. My lady loves this place more than I do because she's got a sweet tooth but, I love the variety of flavors they offer and I feel like some of the non common flavors change often so it keeps your palate refreshed. Terrible flavored yogurt. Order the madagascar vanilla. It tasted as if it was made of a powder substance. The texture it was like powdered milk. One of the most awful flavor frozen yogurts i've ever tried. Suggestion, think twice before buying and sample first. Have a choosing palette and check their ingredients. Quantity yes, quality...well. It's also an open invitation to make a gluttonous glob in your cup and then suffer the ultimate humiliation of breaking the weight scale when you place your cup on it. OK, I didn't break it, but I did fill my cup with two nonfat flavors, Banana Foster and Cheesecake, and the no-sugar-added Chocolate Twilight, in a swirl of sweet and somewhat irreconcilable delights. It was SO worth it for the additional loaded cup (and we really did load up that second time). Rocket pop is the flavor of froyo I didn't know I needed in my life and really went for every time. I haven't visited a Yogurtland in years, but maybe with the ninja creami hype and warm weather, I was craving a frozen yogurt and decided to stop by after shopping. Thai tea: Although it did taste like thai tea, it seemed very artificial and had something off about it. Cookies & Cream: One of the standard options, it comes out grey and tastes more like vanilla than cookies and cream, but I'm sure if you mixed in some oreo pieces, it would be perfect! Strawberry Lemon Sorbet: This was my favorite! It was light, smooth, and exceptionally flavorful. I will definitely be back for more! COVID REVIEW: I was wondering how this would work with COVID as its all high touch! We wanted froyo, saw it was open, and went in. Since they are trying to maintain spacing between groups, there can only really be 2 or 3 groups inside at one time. They have plexiglass barriers between the guests and the yogurt dispensers. One worker is dedicated to pouring yogurt for you in a cup while another worker is dedicated to toppings. The toppings are also completely covered by plexiglass. My two experiences there have been good. They always put the right amount of yogurt and toppings that I want. You can always ask for a little more, I have, and "a little more" has been a great amount too. I understand how this system can be a little slower but I probably visited during a non rush time and didn't have that long of a wait. Flavor of yogurt is great and topping freshness (particularly the fruit) always looks good. Parking is available adjacent to and behind the building as it is shared with another restaurant, no problems there. read more

Yogurt is pretty good but they just removed the water area that provided free cups of water. Now the charge for water is close to 3 dollars a bottle. I've been to this location a number of times now and am in agreement with the recent lower ratings. Yes, the Yogurt is good but there's something really up with the way this place is being run. - Twice now I have been here and there has been no staff in sight upon entering. I've had to wait around for almost 10 minutes for staff to come out of the room in the back so that I could either ask for a sample cup or start pouring my Yogurt (because let's face it I'm not going to pour it and then wait for someone to appear while it melts). - They didn't honor the free yogurt I had loaded onto my Android App. - The last couple of times I have been the place has been messy with Yogurt all around the drip trays on the machines and trash spilling out of the can. - Something appears to be wrong the consistency as a lot of the flavors come out too runny. I hate to give a less than stellar review for a Frozen Yogurt place but I'm hoping that management see this and work on the area's that need it. One of the best Yogurtlands around! Always laid-back, friendly kids running the place. They keep everything super clean here, from the yogurt dispensers to the toppings bar to the seating areas. You can chill indoors or out, and they have chilled water on tap. They aren't stingy with the sample cups, so go ahead and try out the new flavors. Yogurtland always seems to have a marketing campaign going on that rotates in new flavors every couple weeks. I'll always go for the plain tart, but it's fun seeing what's new on the yogurt front. I haven't checked the pricing in our last few visits, but I think it's around $.40/ounce. This is a great place to pop in after a long hike or a soccer game - the yogurt runs around 30 calories an ounce and (hopefully) seems to have less sugar in it than ice cream. :-P read more

(or flavors you've never tried before). I enjoy going to Yogurtland when they have special flavors/themes because that means 1) new flavors and 2) collectible spoons! I personally love the green tea & taro flavors, but they can get rotated out so I'll have to hit up the second favorite flavors (aka whatever I'm feeling that day). Don't forget to sign up for Yogurtland Real Rewards (either online or at the store) to rack up points as you purchase froyo. They started this program back in 2013 and I think it's pretty awesome! Does Walnut Creek need yet another self-serve fro-yo joint? YES-duh!! I've previously gone to Yogurtland locations both in San Diego and Pleasant Hill. This one, for now, seems to be one of the cleaner locations. I like how they lay out little sample cups for you on a tray when you walk in-that makes me feel very special indeed :) The parking is a slight pain and it's not in the center of things in Walnut Creek (which I hope doesn't discourage people from going there.) Friendly cashiers, clean location and if you haven't tried their Red Velvet Cupcake flavor you are missing out big time! Not as many flavors as Pleasant Hill but the toppings bar is waaaaay cleaner than PH location.
