This is the Jamba location at Sequoia Station shopping center in Redwood City. I was there on a Monday evening at 730pm. It was 30-mins before closing, so I went in to grab a bowl to-go. Only two people were working at the counter. I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the Dragon Fruit Delight bowl (Reg sz $13.29). I didn't realize that the Dragon Fruit Delight Bowl is almost the same recipe as the Acai Primo. It's just a little bit sweeter, and they add shredded coconut. Same fresh, ripe fruits with a honey glaze. Very good bowl, and very refreshing. Customer service was fine. No different than other Jamba locations I have been to. This place has horrible customer service. My second time coming into the place, one worker taking orders and making the drinks as the line fills up not once do she look up and say welcome in. I'll be with you shortly. Then after the wait, I asked for açai bowl then she tells me she has to make it. I asked her it's not premade she says no I had a large order. I've been a longtime fan of Jamba (Juice - did they drop it from their name?). I like their berry smoothies and their peach smoothies so I try to look for those on the menu. What I was shocked about this time around was how expensive Jamba has become now. It's like $10+ tax for a small which is insane. These used to be like $6 or something like that. Well you do get a lot of smoothie still which is nice but $10 for a treat does seem steep. Luckily there is a rewards program and when I signed up I got 50% off my first order which made the drink much more affordable. I don't know if I'd come back regularly because it is a bit expensive but it is nice every once in awhile. The Jamba has a lot of parking since it's in the Sequoia Station plaza. Jamba Juice is changing their tech on how you can order. They've set up a touch screen that doesn't work yet with the app. No worries, you can still ask an employee to take your order. That's what saves me, are the humans. No bathrooms at this location. My drinks have been good so no complaints there. Staff have been very friendly with me, so I'll continue to go back to my local Jamba in the RWC. My only issue is that prices are so high, so I can't go nearly as often as I'd like to. Parking lot is big, a little strangely designed. However there is always lots of parking. read more

The worker gave me the wrong order, they just gave me a chick fila bag with chicken nuggets from mcdonalds. The worker couldnt even give me an order from THEIR establishment. My grandma died and I wanted to fufill her wish of getting a Strawberries Wild drink that costs 19 dollars before taxes and the worker made things more difficult for me. Disgusting and the people there just standing avoiding all customers and over all working at all. this place is poorly managed by what seem to be high schoolers by the way one was slanging the N word half the time I was there and some girl with glasses just laughing while I was waiting to be helped and it didn't seem to be busy at all. My drink was so bland with no flavor after waiting for so long. This place needs new management before it shuts down ! It's the closest one I have in my area and for a while I've noticed it's gone downhill in not just the consistency of their drinks but overall cleanliness has gone out the window here. I've often ordered custom smoothies about 10-15 min in advance, and they've been ready to go upon my arrival as ordered. Staff are friendly and kind. I imagine this location experiences a lot of traffic, and so it may appear more worn than other locations, but it appears decently kept in spite of the number of customers passing through. I want to start off by saying that I have loved Jamba Juice for years. I was excited to find that there was one right by me when I moved to Redwood City this past spring. However, this Jamba Juice location is not like the rest and I was upset by my experience this morning. I placed an order on the app (for an acai bowl) right at 7:30am. I love picking up breakfast on my way to work in the mornings because I don't have a whole lot of time. I drove 10 minutes to this location to pick up my bowl only to find out that somebody didn't feel like coming into work today. At 7:45am, the doors were locked and nobody opened the store. I was not the only confused, upset customer waiting outside. I waited for a little bit, but being that I have to get to my job, I had to leave - no bowl in hand. They are overcharging their customers $.20 on every meal deal. When I questioned the employee about the charge he acted dumb and said its only 20 cents. Well it's 20c I don't want to pay over the advertised price. There was also a random 40c charge on my receipt that the employee couldn't explain either (big surprise). On top of all this my wrap was half burnt. Bad customer service, overcharging, and poor food quality. Well be back, only to talk to a manager that doesn't explain things to his/her team. So I have loved in redwood city a long time and have been going here since I was in high school. Never any problems. But now the people who work there are lifeless and not friendly. Today it really set me off because not only were they unfriendly, but my drink took 7 minutes to make and only one person was ahead of me. Not only that but my drink was ready and it was just sitting in the blender. When I got my drink it was watered down and I don't even think they put the protein and the lean advantage in it, as it tasted like watery mango, no peach. I'm just angry because this was my breakfast and if I'm paying $7 for a darn drink, it better be made the way I order it. Now as for the employees, they are not professional or friendly. The lady is always talking with other co workers obnoxiously loud and the guy who I thinks the manager has a nasty long pinky nail, which is unsanitary and gives the idea that the employees do drugs. Yum! Came here for $1 day smoothies. I tried their Acai and Berry Yumberry smoothies. Both delicious. I remember my first and only time having Yumberry in China last year. Service was nice enough and even notified me while ordering that the formula for my favorite smoothie had changed (+1 star!). This location is in the large Redwood City strip mall shopping center, near the 24-Hour CVS and the Max's and Little Mad Fish restaurants. There is a large private shared parking lot for the shopping center. There are also convenient 15 minute parking spaces (curbs painted in green) directly in front of this Jamba Juice (+1 star!) This location also has better hours than others, as they are open until 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays (compared to 7:30p at Stanford mall). Another star! I will definitely return! read more
