My hangout everyday when JAMBA opens up is to sit down outside the store where there are several chairs with umbrellas and order plant based smoothies. Today, before I ordered, I used the CR first, unfortunately, I left my handbag with all my personals, cell phone and bank card, at first , I asked the LADY STAFFER if anyone turned over a handbag, it was a negative answer. I went back to the store, inquired again and the same staffer said she'll check the in the back room and she handed me my handbag with everything in it including my CASH MONEY, I was so excited and very thankful then, forgot her name. There is a cashier named Jenny C. Who was extremely rude to me today. She was friendly to the man in front of me, and rude and aloof towards me for no reason. Such a beautiful Sunday afternoon to have to deal with this type of treatment. I will speaking to her manager on Monday. I think she treated me this way because I am African American. I want to be treated like White American customers, these customers are greeted, rung up, and given their drink. Because I am Black Jenny C. Looked at my outfit up and down, and became competitive with me while she is on the clock. I have no idea what I did to deserve this type of aggressiveness from her. I even left a tip because I had intended to because the employees are usually fine and treat me the same as the other customers. I will not tolerate this type of treatment. Jenny C needs to be spoken to immediately. And I am certain that she will after this review. I go here a lot because I live super close and if I'm in a hurry it's a fast and healthy (well.... depending on what you get lol) "meal" that costs the same or less than what a McDonald's grease bomb would. Always had prompt and friendly service, no problems, fresh ingredients. I only gave 4 stars, tho, because they always try to give you a larger size. They don't charge more which would ordinarily be great, but if I'm on the way to work, I don't WANT a huge drink. I won't finish it, and it will sit in the car and spoil. Sometimes it's a full scale debate with them to get the size you ordered. I also don't always want the 2 for 1. "Put it in the freezer and have it tomorrow." Ok but I'm not going home. I'm grabbing a smoothie on a way to do something else. Again, I'll just have an extra smoothie spoiling in the car. It's fine that they offer it! No problems there. Came in here this weekend for the Buy One get One Free deal and was promptly greeted and the friendly enthusiastic staff offered tons of ideas and were very knowledgable about their menu. I needed a green juice for vitamins and then I got a fruity juice to "chase" it with for my free one. The location was clean and bright and had a lot of space to sit and relax and/or wait for your juice or smoothie. Very nice option if you are juicing and don't feel like getting out your juicer and doing it yourself and better yet you don't have to clean your machine. Although you are paying for it since the juices aren't cheap but they do save you some time. Lots to choose from and flavors to satisfy everyone. read more

The Cold Buster and the Caribbean Passion and my go tos & after Tara (roommie) pigged out on a delicious red velvet cupcake from Ettores I skipped out and went here to feed my sweet tooth...in that healthier...less guilty kind of way! WRONG CHOICE! This Jamba was deserted on a Tuesday night, so I thought I was going to get away with a quick jamba. Since it was going to be one of those in-n-out deals, I left Tara in the car and put in my order. 5 minutes goes by....no fruit in the blender. Instead, the chick at the counter was know dealing with the 5-7 people that came in after me and I was thinking, great....ok, ok...they are now busy, so the wait is not their fault. Like OMG! The teenage-valley girls that staff this place are like way unprofessional and totally annoying! Like seriously, the girl who took my order literally had gum in her mouth. So gross! And I LOVE how they don't bother to ask your name, and just call out drinks by flavor, not even mentioning boosts. So not confusing when two people in a row ordered 16-oz. strawberries wild. Nope. We're all total mind readers. Jamba is the bomb. But this location stinks. I did appreciate the dude making the smoothies who made them on the large size and gave me a huge water instead of a tiny cup as most places would. This place is like that ex bf you broke up with and wonder "why did we ever break up again?" Until you get back with him and then you're reminded again and again WHY. First I have to disclose something: I used to work for JJ 10 yrs ago. In San Jose inside a mall called Valley Fair...if you've ever been there, then you'll know we were some hard core workers with non-stop lines that wrapped around the whole food court AT. ALL. TIMES. I know what it's like to work in a crazy fast loud environment. Ok now I came here to this location today to try their new acai primo bowl and to get one of their juices - carrot cayenne. There was about 4 other customers here waiting for their drinks before me when I put in my order. They had 3 employees working. I don't understand why it took 20 mins to get my order. That situation should've been easy peasy for them. my drink came out first. I waited a little bit longer and wondered where my bowl was, then I saw the employee making it, but that one wasn't mine. I went up to him and asked if it was too late to tell him that I didn't want any shredded coconut in mine, he said it wasn't too late. What that meant was...he still hasn't made my bowl..ugh. 5 mins later it comes out and I've already finished my juice by this time. (Which was more like a slushy to me) the acai bowl was very lacking in flavor. Blueberries were sour. Some bananas weren't sliced all the way so I had big chunks. The acai they used is frozen...once it started melting it was better but for the price of a small bowl $5.49 I would not get it again. I could make this at home myself and it'd taste better and I wouldn't have to wait 20 mins for it. Also I can't believe how high the prices have increased since then. Ridiculous. I love Jamba Juice as an establishment but this one has terrible customer service. Went there last monday 2/18/2013. There were two teenagers working, I stood at the cash register for probably about 7 minutes before one of them realized someone had come in and was just standing there. I am sure neither of them was over 18 which looks bad for the franchise for legal purposes and if between the two of them they cant pay attention to the front door or the cash register there is a problem. The guy who rang me up was rude on top of that. I also hate when I come here and the people working ( who shouldnt be singing at the tops of the lungs) are singing, terrible voices. SOMEONE NEEDS TO RETRAIN THIS STAFF. Rude customer service, I walk in and I'm standing at the register for a good minute while people behind the counter look dead in my eye and not speak to me. While I'm ordering the cashier doesn't even look at me while he's talking and he's too busy messing around with the other workers that he's barely even taking my order. Especially after Jamba Juice spiked up their prices, maybe you should spike up your employee standards too. They're literally screaming inside the store messing around, I couldn't hear myself think.. I've been to this Jamba Juice several times and it's always been really good. I love to order a Peanut Butter Mood or an Orange Dream Machine. I'm a huge fan of Jamba Juice and wish I could buy stock in the company or even franchise a store. This location has plenty of parking and is rarely packed. I love to stop in the morning and order some oatmeal before heading to work. I like the high energy of the employees whenever you walk in. "Hi! Welcome to Jamba Juice!" It's nice to be greeted with so much positive energy when you walk into a business. I wish all restaurants were like that. Can you imagine Chipotle or Subway employees being that happy when you walked into their business? That would be awesome! SERVICE: Quick and easy! I've never had a bad experience at this location. The girls here are nice and do a good job getting your order right! I'll be back at this location probably this week to grab a smoothie and pastry. The particular location is fantastic! No matter when I stop by the service is always exceptional, the staff nice and friendly and the store clean and tidy. On the way to work not to long ago I stopped in to grab a cold buster smoothie after coming down with a viral infection. I had no voice and had to write down my order for the cashier and I wish I remembered her name, but this girl gave me a pen and paper to take my order and took care of my order with quick precision... she even wish me a speedy recovery. Recently (last Saturday) I visited this store again and the service was excellent and quick! I've lived walking distance of this jamba for about 6yrs now. I like that its so close but its very busy in the morning because of the neighborhood. So, it takes forever to get your drink. i tried going when it was slow thinking i would get a drink faster, but its hard to get fast service when theres only one employee. There is a girl that works there that is funny and so nice. We were trying to figure out what drink my daughter wanted. There's nothing like fresh juice when you don't feel well! I went into Jamba Juice to get the 'Coldbuster' drink only to discover it was re-named the 'Super-C'. Doesn't matter. It was terrific and just what the doctor ordered to help get rid of a cold I had. The staff here is very friendly and nice and don't hesitate to offer suggestions if you are unsure what you'd like to order. Parking is lot-style and pretty tight, I would park in front of Save Mart and walk over, if you park on the side, the spaces just seem a bit narrower than normal. read more

I was standing in line for 4min and was walking up to the register when someone came up and told me I had to wait outside. "Sure no problem let me finish this and I'll go right out" "we can only have 6 people in the store" "I have no problem waiting outside just let me order as I've been in here for 4-5 min and I head right out" basically kicks me out without letting me order. Jamba Juice at Loehmanns Plaza is my favorite Jamba Juice location in Sacramento. The staff is always friendly and prepared. This particular location tends to hire qualified students from the local colleges as well as high schools. The students appear eager to learn and serve. This particular location I notice tends to make their shakes thick and full the way I enjoy the shakes. The outdoor seating for Jamba Juice at Loehmanns Plaza is inviting and makes up for the limited indoor seating. read more

I love Jamba Juice unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I ordered a parmesan pretzel with my smoothie. If only I had known that was a terrible decision. On my way back to work I tried to eat some of the pretzel only to find out that it wasn't cooked!!! I got RAW PRETZEL DOUGH. Goopy, and gross but it looked like it was Cooked on top of the pretzel. With much regret, dear Jamba Juice, you have lost three stars. Yes, 3 stars! Shame on you! I came in to order my new found favorite drink. There was nobody up front (no worries about that) but when one staff member came out, he looked right at me and did not say anything. He proceeded to walk and do something else. About a minute it later he says, "Oh, yeah. After I'm done, I'll help you." The way he said it (intentional or unintentional) came off very rude, and careless. Another staff member comes out about ten seconds later and helps me. I say my order (I've been ordering it over the last few weeks and every staff member has understood me) and she responds, "Are you lost? Did somebody send you over here? You are very confused." This was said in a very rude manner. She was unpleasant to interact with. She treated me very rudely and it felt like she tried to make me feel stupid. Bad day for her? I don't like to patronize businesses that make their employees work on holidays (during said holiday), but we had just been for a long nature walk on Easter Sunday and my step-dad was dead set on getting a cold smoothie. Jamba Juice is Jamba Juice and there isn't much I can say that makes this place any better than the others I have been to except for one thing: the customer service I received. When it was my turn at the counter I told the guy that my son's favorite is Caribbean Passion, but he is dangerously allergic to mango and asked if we can substitute. Not only did he say "yes" (like all Jamba Juice places we have been to) he made sure to stress it to both employees in charge of making the smoothie that there was an allergy and to avoid mango (other locations we have been to have not made such a point to communicate that and left me feeling very nervous). The girl who ended up making the smoothie assured us (without me having to ask) there was no mango. We have never had a problem with a mix up at any of their other locations, but I do appreciate the extra effort they went through to make sure my son didn't wind up at the hospital. read more

Great drinks . Get it right every time . I'm giving 1 stars because my son and I came in for drinks and as I'm pulling out of the lot , my 5 year old is choking and trying to spit something out . I had to shove my finger in his mouth . Luckily he was able to work it out his throat immediately. But it was a pretty big sized piece of plastic wrap that was in his drink that he had swallowed ! This location is near my work. It is my go to place to stop in the morning if I want to fell good about eating breakfast out. The oatmeal is tasty and the breakfast wraps are good as well. I am not much into the smoothies. I think they are over priced and like I said, I want something I will feel good about eating for breakfast.
