Meanwhile this Peet's stays open, first off no shade at the workers in this establishment I apologize to you for this review but I have to comment on Peet's corporate as a whole they are doing a terrible job closing 3 locations and keeping locations like this one open. The PARKING here is really really bad, the parking lot is always full, you have limited space all the time and the spots are really small your car is at risk of being damaged in the parking lot. Another great Peet's location. The place is open, clean and staff is friendly and helpful. For this visit I wanted to try something new, something I don't typically order. So I got: Latte with popping boba: latte itself is great. The popping boba is interesting but the inside liquid is like a sweet and sour coffee taste. This is obviously not fault of this location cuz these popping pearls are batched. But I don't recommend the popping pearls lol Roasted Turkey Parmesan Ciabatta: I love the ciabatta, soft and fluffy and perfectly toasted. But the sandwich overall is wayyy too salty. I love the Parmesan flavor but again the whole thing is SALTY. This is also not fault of the location cuz these are shipped in. I wanna say if you have a super sweet drink it will probably pair ok? Jaden knows how to make a latte, even if you ask for adjustments. I asked for a latte thats not too hot, with no lid on the cup to preserve the crema. So yes the crema was there, the milk was frothed to perfection, giving me a smooth creamy latte, not just some coffee with milk and layer of superficial foam on top. I enjoy coming to this Peet's coffee because they always make their drinks in a reasonable amount of time. The drink is made just how it is ordered, I always like to get my coconut black tie and it is delicious. There's plenty of parking in the parking. There's places to enjoy your drink and bite to eat indoors or outdoors. I've been known to go there and stay indoors with my device and connect to the Wi-Fi. It's very peaceful inside. I'm a big fan of the Havannah cappuccino and it's my go to drink. Very rich and creamy with good sweetness, but not a candy bar, ala evil mermaid. You could clearly tell the barista was new and being heavily watched by peers yet he was receiving little to no help. I wasn't going to complain and get my drink remade because I could tell the apparent stress on the baristas face but if you're gonna have new baristas on bar they should know the difference between a latte and a macchiato and read for any modifications. We happened to be in the area doing some errands, when we noticed this Peet's Coffee shop. Frankly, it's a pleasant surprise to see a Peet's over some other coffee places that seem to take over every street corner. It's nice to stop and take a coffee brake now and then. Located in a busy strip mall, it shares parking with other businesses, but we didn't have trouble finding a space. I ordered my favorite Peppermint Mocha with whipped cream, while Joe K got a standard black hot coffee. He also got a pound of his favorite Holiday Blend fresh coffee beans. Joe is very specific on what kind of coffee he enjoys, and Peet's fits the bill! As expected, the baristas have the art of making coffee down to a science. Taking your order and creating that perfect cup every time. Friendly, professional and efficient customer service. But due to the pandemic, indoor or outdoor sitting is not allowed at this time. Midtown location is my favorite peets. But this one is my second favorite peets location. . I love how this location is hidden in. A lyon plaza. The small mall has local business such as a chocolate shop, kids store, some fancy crystal store, sushi restaurant. Just very cozy and community vibe. . The mall has nice lights during Christmas. Also very festive with the music too. . My to go to drink is usually a nice hot coffee with a large cup of ice and pour the coffee in it with some nice milk. Just so strong and good when I need a wake up call. . The service was great. Friendly barista who helped me. They were quick with making my drink and it was like a walk in pick up and on the go. Cute little outside sitting when seating was available. . Overall I had a great experience. If your in the area and looking for some peets I recommend this spot. Very nice shop. This location is located on two major streets making it easy to find. Being in a small outside mall area, it has a good amount of parking available and some other shops nearby to check out. The round shape of the store is a nice, unique look. Took two of my grandkids to this (my first) visit today. We ordered cold drinks in the form of Vanilla Frap (of course with whipped cream), iced black tea with lemon slices, and the new summer Strawberry Lemon iced tea. The rainbow sugar cookies are a hit with me and the kids. Fresh and tasty. Seating inside is limited due to the space available. The restroom is singular and clean. It is the outside that also drew me here besides the food and drink. There is some tables, chairs, and umbrellas as well as some long benches. One can find a good nice place to sit. read more

First off, let me say that I used to only drink strictly Starbucks. Yes, I was a Starbucks snob! This was my first Peet's that I had ever tried...due to the convenience of its proximity from my office. Now the parking lot on the other hand...can get a little crazy, as there is a huge Wells Fargo branch, sushi restaurant, and lots of other small businesses packed in here. But, if you can get a parking spot, the line in this location is usually not too crazy, except in the morning (before 9:30am), it can be a little long. To save yourself some time, they now offer mobile orders through their app. If you plan to frequent Peet's, download the app! You'll earn reward for free drinks/food items, and get other discounts on select items. Coming from Starbucks to Peet's is definitely an adjustment, as Starbucks drinks tend to be a bit more on the sweeter side. Peet's coffee, no matter the drink, tends to have a bit more strong, bitter taste. But in a good way if you like strong coffee. If not, ask for one less shot of espresso and you're good to go. The other difference between both is SB uses syrups, whereas Peet's uses powders. Not sure on how different the two are, but I'm fine with both. In the fall/winter, I like to get their white mocha with one less shot of espresso. In the spring/summer, I love, love, love their Caramel Javiva, extra ice (hold the whip ). This would be comparable to SB Caramel Frappe, but not as sweet and a bit stronger coffee taste. My go to breakfast item is their steel cut oatmeal with 2% steamed milk with all the toppings! Seriously the best oatmeal to go! If I'm in a hurry and don't have time for lunch, I'll snag their chicken chorizo flatbread. So so good and filling! The location here is always clean! The employees all seem to enjoy working here and are always more than happy to remake a drink if it's not to your liking. I've been coming here for awhile, so it's nice when some of the baristas I see regularly see me walk in and already start my drink because they know exactly what I'm going to order! They have a bathroom open to the public. And have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for sipping on your coffee, working, or having a small meeting. read more

Whenever I receive a promotional email from Peet's for free coffee or a BOGO through their rewards program, this location is my first stop. The staff is so friendly and my drinks come out quickly. There is enough room to get work done and take advantage of their free wifi, or to soak up the sun by the large windows. The parking lot is pretty packed when I go, but if you're patient, you can find a spot. I've never had to park on the street. I like that they always have pristine drinks as well, everything is presented nicely without any rogue glops of caramel or mocha drizzle stuck to the outside of the cup. Customer service is a trademark of Peet's in my experience, and this location continues that tradition; between the homey, comfortable atmosphere inside and the staff, I plan to make it my regular spot for when I get a Peet's craving. read more

I like to come to this Peet's location for mid-morning and mid-day coffee breaks since it's a short drive from work. I've gotten several drinks here, from iced triple shot espressos to cold brew (both straight up and black ties), to their matcha lattes. My drinks have always turned out satisfying and I haven't had any complaints. I've had their apple monkey bread treat as well as the bacon and egg brioche. The apple monkey bread was a little stale for my liking which was a bummer because it's always looked so appetizing and it didn't deliver when I decided to treat myself. The bacon and egg brioche though was bomb. Would 100% get it again when I feel like treating myself to something savory. The staff are always super friendly. Even when the store is packed with people, they seem to always have a friendly demeanor and are pretty efficient. Definitely glad there is a Peet's nearby work for coffee breaks! read more

I had to give an extra star because someone from corporate reached out to me personally to apologize for my last mediocre visit to this Peet's location. She even included 2 complimentary drinks to ensure that I go back. Well I did go back a few weeks later, and sadly, they stopped offering my favorite drink, the Mayan chocolate mocha. Super disappointed that I missed out but since Peet's was paying for it, I went ahead and ordered the matcha green tea latte without sweetner instead. It was smooth, slightly creamy, and with just a hint of sweetness from the green tea flavor itself. Pretty yummy. Just yesterday I went to a different Peet's location a few miles away, and was super happy that they still offered the Mayan chocolate mocha! So I got exactly what I wanted and for free (thanks, Kristina!). Just not from THIS Peet's Coffee. The first time I had Peet's coffee was in 2005 when I was at PlumpJack Cafe and Bar located inside the village of Palisades in Olympic Valley, CA. The minute I tasted it's unique and superior quality, I was hooked and took note from the restaurant on what coffee were they serving. I love the Major Dickinson and French roast. I was in dire need of a mid- afternoon caffeinated pick-me-up. I had been driving down Fair Oaks boulevard in the Arden Arcade district and was momentarily stopped at the light when I glanced to my right and noticed a quaint little strip mall shopping plaza. At the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Munroe sits a Pete's Coffee & Tea. I pulled into the parking lot, quickly parked my car, and scurried into the store. The smell off hot caffeinated elixir had beckoned me. I stepped up to the counter and ordered a small hot Chai. As soon as I placed my order I felt a surge of relief as I knew that I would be gulping a warm frothy spciy chai in a few minutes. I reminded myself to breath and looked around the house. There was an empty bistro table next to a large window. I took a seat and started fiddling around with my iPhone (its a bad annoying habit of mine.) Within a few moments the barista called out my name, and I briskly walked up to the counter again and picked up my drink. I thanked the barista several times for such quick friendly service. She smiled and said your welcome in a friendly voice. I sat back down and sipped my tea. It was frothy and warm, but it was unsweetened and lacked the Indian spices that a chai usually has. On the other hand, the tea used as the base was very relaxing and delicious. Hmmmm..... I was feeling a bit conflicted; good tea leaves, warm and frothy, but lacking spices and not sweetened with honey. This is why I gave Pete's 4 out of 5 stars. I'm not sure if all Pete's prepare everything exactly the same, but I will have to discover that on another visit. To be continued.... read more

I'm a Peetnik from WAYYYY back and I love the Peet's franchises. It's my favorite chain store coffee by a long mile. This location is at the corner of Fulton and Fair Oaks. The parking lot is kind of a nightmare. Be patient. There is enough parking but sometimes you have to wait. It's always crowded inside so I usually get my jo to go. This is my least favorite location in the greater Sacramento area. The vibe is off. My drinks are not made as good as the other locations.
