However, do not be fooled -- the front door isn't always open, so it's best to go through the drive through. I got my usual Golden Eagle from this store, and to be fair, they made it absolutely very creamy to the point it didn't taste like coffee -- it tasted like an absolutely good version of a latte. Overall environment was well maintained as well. This could definitely be a good stop if you're heading up to Sac and not wanting to drive the other way through the valley :)

I explained the situation, but she just looked at me and then at the croissant, saying, "I'm sorry, I can't warm it up for you because you but it." I was taken aback and was about to explain that I wouldn't have known it was cold if I hadn't taken a bite, but she quickly added, "It's okay, I'll just give you a new one." It felt like she was expecting me to just accept her first response, which didn't sit well with me. In a customer service role, it's important to be solution-oriented, and I felt like she missed the mark there. To make things even more frustrating, my husband's croissant was cold too, and the replacement she gave me was barely warm. It seemed like it had only been microwaved for a few seconds because it was still cold in the middle. I've never had this kind of experience at this location before, which was quite surprising. I didn't know that Tuesday's were family days and you can save a little bit of cash. I have to remember that so I will bring my grandchildren for an after school treat. We were all excited to cut into cake and let it sit 20 minutes before it was cut. The cake was dry, there was too much gel that ran down the sides. It was probably the worst ordered ice cream cake i've tasted. We ended throwing much of it away, after spending $40. It was too bad because we've ordered such a cake over several years and not had an issue before.
