    Bbq chicken meal
    Gloria N.

I've never had much Filipino food but this was certainly tasty!! I recently saw a food blogger rave about this restaurant so I wanted to check it out! I decided to get the lumpia, bbq chicken meal, and James' special pancit bihon. All items were really tasty but my favorite was definitely the James' special pancit bihon. Service was friendly and dishes came out fast. If you choose to dine inside, there are a few tables here. For the most part, I noticed most people came in for carry out.

All of the above!! My bf picked up my order from there and brought it home to me, 5 minutes ago! And I am WoWed! BEST pork bihon anywhere in the US!! (We could agree not to agree)I'm feeling like I'm back home on the islands. And I'm 47! Highly HIGHly recommended trying James! Fiesta is an understatement of the party that you'll have in your mouth! Enjoy!! Tell them "Raquel " sends warm greetings and a thank you. You'll get hooked up

My first foray into Filipino cuisine! My son and fellow *Yelpster suggested James Fiesta Grill for Friday lunch. We have neighbors of Filipino descent familiar with James, so we decided "what the heck?" I don't how many establishments cater to this group and am only familiar with one in business long ago who was in a lengthy legal battle with a large Japanese media company who just happened to have the same name as the lady who ran the place downtown. James is on the ground level of a shopping center bordering Joan Ave, Willow Oak and Amuskai Rd. Aesthetically, James is a dive; simply furnished with few tables. The crew running the joint are cheerful and a joy to work with. Now to the food: we started with the Lumpia Shanghai- small egg rolls. Smaller even than spring rolls. These were served with James' special sauce. They were very good! My son ordered James' Special Pancit Behon consisting of stir fried rice noodles mixed with fish cake, pork, chicken and veggies topped with crispy lechon kawali aka deep fried pork belly. Very yummy, claims my son. I sampled the belly and it ate like pork rinds. Food here is amply seasoned but son decided to drizzle his dish with Sriracha Sauce for a little heat. Yours truly opted for Pancit Canton Supreme- another noodle dish but with stir fried egg noodles with some veggies, shrimp, pork and chicken mixed in. Very tasty!! Both of us finished our entrees as we saw what a Filipino family at the table next to ours ordered. A treasure trove of deliciousness, I say! What can I say? Pleased to have partaken in and enjoyed another cuisine of an ethnic group contributing to the greatness of our nation! My son and I both commend James' Fiesta Grill to one and all. Though indoor seating is limited, this place does a great carryout business! Try it!

Pinakbet with Lechon Kawali Topping Meal

If you haven't tried Filipino food, you MUST visit this gem! The kindest staff and wonderful service. Very accommodating and extremely hospitable! Got to stop and speak to the owner on the way out. Food is 10/10 ! Plenty of parking out front and four large tables to eat inside the clean establishment . Staff provided a heater on the cold day we stopped by. The lumpia was fresh and delicious. The Lechon Kawali meal was crispy and deep fried to perfection. The pork rib sinigang was perfect for the chilly weather that day, and so flavorful. The pinakbet with lechon was tasted like I was back home in Philippines eating from my Lola's kitchen . Each meal comes With either steamed white or garlic rice. They offer carry out and catering services. Please support local business and give them a try. You won't regret it !

Lumpia & BBQ Pork on a Stick

I found this place on Yelp and immediately wanted to try it out. We got there about 10-15 minutes before they closed, all the chairs were up but they were very nice about us placing our to-go order. Definitely try the Filipino lemonade...tastes like a cutie (the fruit). Soo delicious! We also ordered lumpia which was extremely tasty, and came with the dipping sauce. And then we had the BBQ pork on a stick, which was juicy and extremely flavorful! Everything was incredible! Can't wait to go again!!

Look no More, the food here is so GOOD, the place is clean, the service is fast, and we met the friendly owner James & the cooks & they made sure if we were ok. I made sure to tell them that the Lumpia, Pancit n the Lechon Kawali we ordered was cooked PERFECT, not much fat n most of all not oily at and that's a Plus. They told us that they sold frozen lumpia to fry at home, so make sure u get some for eating later. Salamat James, we will def be back to taste some adobo n the rest of your menu.

James Fiesta Grill has been our favorite place to order Filipino food for parties. They use fresh ingredients and their recipes cater to a larger palate. Today we decided to eat in and though it was lunch time, service was quick. Interiors are nothing fancy, very down-to-earth.

Never had a bad meal here! The take out is packaged well too. I don't love the chicken in the pancit-it can be gristly-but the flavors are great. Don't forget the cold case with lumpia to fry at home, desserts and other dishes to go.

Open during COVID and food is still wonderful. Lets keep this fine place open and strong!! My Tapsilog was excellent and you can see in the photo that the lumpia was almost gone.

James fiesta grill is the beat Filipino restaurant in all of Baltimore. They specialize in traditional Filipino comfort food that will surely impress. James is the owner and chef of the place, he will greet you with a warm smile and great conversation. The people that come into this place are regulars and foodies, all of whom appreciate the food and the welcoming atmosphere of the place. The food is great; the chicken bbq is grilled perfectly with the right amount of char that is complimented by its savory sweet sauce. A Filipino restaurant is judged by how good their sisig is, and wow; their sisig surely impressed - every bite is packed with flavor and crispness, the egg drips of yolk, and it comes out sizzling! I also love getting silog meals, or breakfast meals here, it is simple and straight to the point. I love this place. Thank you kuya James - Ansel Ponce Diama

This is our first time trying this restaurant. We loved all of the dishes and the dessert! Service was also great!

First time trying Filipino food so don't have anything to compare here to, but really enjoyed all the dishes ordered. The Lumpia came out freshly fried - Crispy wrapper on the outside and warm filling. It was served with a sweet dipping sauce. The Pork Sising was really good, however we definitely needed to add lemon, spread the egg, and add some hot sauce. Alone it was a little bland, but the additions made it really good. The Pork Lecheon had a great crisp and was chewy. It was served with 2 sauces, both were sweet. I would have preferred one sweet and another spicy, or at least of a different flavor profile. We dined in, and the lady running the front counter turned the heater on for us because it was a cold day, so that was a really nice touch. Overall good food, and would come back to try some other dishes.

They definitely lack customer service and the food is only so-so. Go to Mama Rosa in Baltimore for a better experience.

The lumpia and halo Halo is my favorite!!! I got the milkfish but didn't love it. That's probably due to my own taste buds though.

Later we learned the pancet was in the back. My goofy order condisted of garlic rice (2 scoops) and a small order of deep fried pork belly. I was curious of what everything was by using the point and tell method. Somehow I endéd up with a chicken dish with more rice, that really jacked up the bill. All the dishes were labeled and the server was very helpful in telling what they were to the extent of pork or chicken. It became more confusing when the cashier came over to help. This time, the pork barbecue looked a little dry. Missing some of the "taba" (fat) at the end which would have been nice. Taste is still ok and just dipped in vinegar so it's not too dry. The grilled fish we got was a little on the burnt side which made it difficult to eat on account of the bitter taste and it was in a place where it was difficult to separate the burnt part from the meat. Also, my one beef is that there was an added credit card surcharge of 3% which I was not informed of ahead of time. This is big as my bill before taxes was already over $135! If I knew beforehand, I would have prepared to bring cash because that surcharge was big and this was not even verbally offered at the time of payment. I have been a loyal customer for many years now but we don't come as often as we don't leave near. It used to be bag fees, and I brought my own bag in for groceries, but this surcharge left a bad taste. if this is to be standard, please put up a sign at the counter or on your website. Otherwise, I like the variety of food and grocery items offered, but there has to be better communication with customers.
