Chicken was chewy like sponge with heavy salty gelatinous sauce! chicken on stick burnt to hell and heavily seasoned with sauce so salty it's inedible not to mention questionably fresh, egg roll .... Mushy no taste, no seasoning no nothing the filling all tasted same I've had better out of my freezer! Wasted money! How is this aweful place still open why !!!! Gross!

Terrible. The chicken fried rice was inedible. It's that gross yellow rice and the chicken was rubbery and disgusting. The chicken wings were overcooked. The egg drop soup was just ok. I will not be ordering from here again.

Decent Chinese take-out food. Nothing fancy. Better than other Chinese we've tried in area.

Additionally, the live music on the covered patio was a great touch. Loved how the vibes here were more than just another touristy seafood spot on the beach. Now for the food- everything was absolutely incredible. They print their menus daily to ensure it's up to date with their fresh catches. We started with the crab claws and BBQ oysters, which were both so flavorful and perfect appetizer. The garlic butter from the crab claws was so good I could have drank it straight from the dish. For mains: The special they had when we went last Friday was tilefish with grits, brussel sprouts, and fried shrimp and it was a must (2/6 at our table got this). Another big hit was the grouper piccata- this is another must get, and what the local in our party gets everytime she comes. The whipped potatoes are just delicious. Other dishes we got were the filet mignon and honey wasabi yellowfin tuna. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu! In the words of our server.. "chef could prepare a shoe and I'd eat it!" To finish the night, we had the key lime pie & the signature praline basket (with a brownie). Both desserts were, you guessed it, amazing. The key lime pie enthusiast at our table said it was the best he's ever had. The Grand Marlin will be seeing me again next time I'm in town!!

From the moment we arrived, Melissa provided some of the best service we've experienced in a long time. She took incredible care of our entire party, including our 6-month-old daughter. As any parent knows, dining out with a baby can sometimes be challenging, but Melissa made us feel completely welcome and comfortable throughout the evening. We enjoyed wine, appetizers, and several entrées, and she was wonderful about accommodating customizations and special requests. What really stood out was how genuinely kind and engaging she was with our baby and she took time to play with her, made her smile and giggle, and truly helped make the night special for our whole family. The food was fantastic, the views are absolutely incredible, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. The outdoor patio and bar area are especially beautiful. After dinner, Melissa helped us relocate outside where we enjoyed more wine and dessert while taking in the view. And whatever you do, don't skip the crème brûlée, it was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal! The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the level of hospitality we experienced was exceptional. Between the delicious food, stunning waterfront setting, and outstanding service from Melissa, this was one of the highlights of our trip. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Pensacola. Thank you, Melissa and the DRIFT team, for such a memorable evening!

Most patrons wore dressy beach attire - sundresses for ladies and nice shorts or slacks for the guys. Our server was wonderful! He was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of that menu. The food was good. I had the lamb chops appetizer and peach burrata salad as my main. The chops were overdone, but the flavor was nice, and the asparagus that came with was yummy. I loved the salad and would order it again. The tuna poke appetizer was a toss up. The tuna was delicious, but the crabmeat was so disappointing. It had the consistency and flavor of canned crab. I'm not saying for sure that it was canned, but with all of the fresh options, I just thought I'd get really good crabmeat. My husband had the catch of the day, which I think was sea bass. It was delicious! The fish tasted super fresh and was perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. It was so dry - as if it had been frozen or something. Overall, our experience was positive.
