For services, all I care about is honesty, attention to detail, and a fair price. In this industry, it's hard to find any service provider who can provide one of these. I know, I've paid for multiple "free inspections" and almost been scammed by so many other HVAC "specialists." Luckily for me, I found one provider who did exhibit honesty, attention to detail, and fair pricing. In fact, I know this company is honest and willing to do what it takes to make the customer happy because they experienced the brunt of my initial skepticism, anger and frustration and they still offered to do the job, and they still gave me fair pricing. After speaking with 6-7 poor excuses of HVAC vendors, my wife finally called Jamison for an inspection. We were on the brink of insanity from all the lies and scams we were fed from prior professionals. Jamison missed the initial inspection time because of a miscommunication and misclassification of our issue. My wife and I went off on them like Chef Ramsay at dinner service but the company stayed on the phone and apologized. I was impressed with their fortitude. So we gave them a chance at redemption and boy did they make up for it. Ryan came to our house the next evening. Unlike the other "specialists" who only looked at our outside unit, Ryan inspected the unit in the attic, ran some tests, tested other things, and generally used more equipment in the 90 minutes he was there than all of the prior vendors combined. He showed he cared and showed effort, it was like getting a glass of ice water in the hell of HVAC repair. We hired him. When Ryan said he'd have his men come to our house to begin the project, I was concerned I would lose out on the skill and professionalism without Ryan there. I was proven wrong again. Alonso and the other gentleman were respectful, not just to us, but also of our house. They repaired the leak. Another problem occurred after they fixed the leak. I was more understanding this time as I knew they tried really hard. I called and left a voicemail for Ryan on his mobile the night before labor day. I figured he'd call me middle of the week. NOPE, I'm wrong again. Ryan called me the next morning on a holiday he was planning on taking off. He told me he was coming over and asked if I was home. I hadn't even brushed my teeth. Ryan came, tested everything again, found the problem, and had Alonso and two other gentleman come to fix the problem.....on a holiday. I had cool air on a hot holiday evening thanks to Ryan. So, even though there was a rough start and a hiccup, this company came through in the end and impressed me. If you're reading this review because you're on the fence about choosing this company, look no further and call Ryan. He's honest, knows what he's talking about, and will give you fair pricing. 5/26/21 The guys at Jamison Heating & Cooling Service did a fantastic job they are very professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable with what they are doing. Julian was very thorough and walked me through everything that was wrong and what needed to be done in order to get the AC running properly. Our main concerns were the air was not circulating properly and our electric bill was through the roof when the AC system was turned on. He climbed in the attic space and showed me how poorly done the previous duct work was done and the reason for the expensive electric bill. The reason became clear once Julian showed me pictures and videos of what the current attic situation looked like; the ducts had holes, they were not properly secured in place, and lots of silver tape was used almost to act like a giant bad aide. We had Griffin come out to give us a quote on having our whole duct system removed/replaced he was able to quote us quickly and have this schedule so that we could have this issue repaired. I will continue to use this professionally company as they are reliable and friendly, I will also continue to recommend them to family members and friends finding a good AC and heating company can be as difficult as finding a good mechanic. I called this company because they claim to fix floor heaters, and confirmed as much on the phone when I made the call. When they came out, they were very vague about what was wrong with it, and tried to sell me either a mini-split, or a wall heater. They said that they don't install floor heaters any more, and neither does anyone else. When I asked them if they could fix the one we had, they evaded the question and steered me back to the mini-split solution. I asked for estimates on both the wall and mini split heaters. They sent only a mini-split estimate for $9750. I responded and asked if they could also provide the wall heater estimate I asked for, and I had also done some googling, and saw that they still make floor heaters, so I implored the guy to please consider installing a new one. He never responded. Meanwhile, I found another company, Reliable Appliance, who fixes floor heaters, as well as installs new ones. Very honest, and affordable. I ended up getting a new floor heater for $3500. I've also got it on good authority that the mini split would have been a huge drain on the nearly 100 year old electrical system in my house, and would have been another huge bill, if it didn't burn the house down first. If you don't fix floor heaters, don't say you do, just so you can try to sell me something expensive, and unsuitable for a little old house. And don't charge me $67 just to come and bid on a new system, when you know you had no intention of fixing it. It's dishonest. read more

Nobody likes to experience air conditioning problems however our AC was not working and we called Jamison air conditioning. Danny was our technician and he advised that our AC was not getting power so we would have to call a electrician. He advised us if we still had problems after it was hooked up he would come back free of charge and look to see what the problem was. Service was great with this shop. I had to replace the A/C at the house because the compressor went out. Unfortunately, it was worth it repairing the old unit, since it was running on the old refrigerant, so I ended spending more money than I hope. However, that wasn't their fault, more of an issue with old equipment and legislation. Anyways, they were able to squeeze an appointment for me the very next day. The initial rep Griffin, and the crew (don't remember their names) were both very respectful and courteous. In fact, it was kind of amazing how quickly the install was. To accommodate for new solar roof project, I had to remove AC plumbing, electrical and gas exhaust from roof. I called Jamison and they were able to get me on schedule in 2 days to come and replace old condenser and furnace. In doing so they rerouted electrical underground and installed AC plumbing to back side of house through the attic. Installation took one day, and everything looked and worked great. My 40 year old HVAC was finally acting up, and I requested Ryan's service. He was very professional and helpful right off the bat on the phone. I thought I did enough troubleshooting to narrow down the problem and explained to him which parts I might need. However, he patiently listened and at the end, respectfully, said that there may be another reason and said he can swing by after his last appointment (it was during the hottest days during last summer 2017 which was impossible to get a same day appointment). He actually called after his last appointment and said that he was on his way! And even better, he fixed the problem, literally with one finger, and didn't even charge me... but instead, he asked us to consider him when thinking of replacing our HVAC system. When we decided to replace our HVAC, Ryan was the first person we called. He was straight forward and gave us a price, but asked to call around to compare services... If this is the first time for you shopping for a HVAC system, let me warn you, it is a very confusing industry. Everyone is an expert and has experience, but each company will recommend different size systems. We obtained bids from 7 different companies. We decided to go with with Ryan for many reasons. The first reason was because of the first encounter with him, he was honest, straight forward, and on a busy day, he dropped by and fixed the problem without even charging us. Another reason was, after comparing prices, he was very competitive with his price. It was very hard to compare apples to apples because every company offered different systems from 2 tons up to 3.5 tons. Another was that he said he will be there during installation, and he was actually on site and doing work during installation with his crew. Our entire HVAC system and ducting was 30 years old and in need of replacement. I messaged Jamison Heating and Cooling from the Yelp app, and got a reply within a few minutes. Ryan came two days later to look over our system and give us a quote. He was very detailed in his observations. And made sure to explain everything to me. Honestly, he was the first person I had come look at the system. And we are new to this type of thing. I was thinking we could just replace the a/c unit so I was skeptical when he said we needed to replace the whole system and ducting. Then I had 3 other guys come out and give us a quote. One came in lower, but I was not confident in their ability just within our first meeting. The other two were substantially more. I checked all of their ratings on BBB, and looked them up through the registrar of contractors. The reason we chose Jamison is because they are a small business (we like to support those guys!), their price was right, and the customer service was great. The guys came out today to install the new system. There were 4 or 5 guys here from 8am-6pm and worked hard the entire time. They were friendly, and conscientious of wearing protective gear inside my home. I even saw Ryan bring the guys lunch! (That's a cool boss). The new system looks sleek, and clean. Our home is actually cool without having to run our AC 24/7. We didn't even know what we were missing until this beauty arrived. I asked Ryan if I could contact him personally if we had any problems and he was happy to allow me to call his cell. It's a small business that cares about their customers.
