Our evaporator coil was leaking and it looked like it would have to be replaced. Given the cost we decided to replace the whole Hvac system and get our ducting done. We got several bids, but Jamison was by far the best (they came in as the middle bid price so we didn't just go for the cheapest). Corey is the point person we spoke with and he visited a couple times to talk us through the project and the costs. He answered every question we had and was extremely responsive. He was around throughout the project and checked in on us by phone even when he wasn't there. He definitely cares about making you feel comfortable with such a huge undertaking and is always there when you need him. My husband and I are remodeling our home in Orange. So we decided to contact Jamison for a new heat pump and air handler system. We previously had Jamison service our AC when we had our condo and they did a good job. We went on Yelp to schedule an appointment the following week. It was very easy. Griffin came and he was very friendly. We gave him an idea of what we wanted and he told us he will check out everything first and then give us his recommendations. Speaking to Griffin, it felt he was being very genuine and honestly wanted the best for us. He was super knowledgeable as well. He even called his boss to see if we can get a better unit. One of their technicians, Corey, came to provide a free estimate on July 11th. He was very friendly and took his time to explain what is needed etc. The reason for the 1-star review: 1. All of our ducting is in the attic, which is huge (close to 4,000 sqft house). He only stood on the ladder and took some pictures but didn't actually go into the attic to get the full view of it, which was necessary. His reasoning was the few mouse traps we had up there. We had 5 other companies come for free estimates, they all went up there to take a thorough look. 2. He lied and told me that we need two completely new furnaces, since they are "ancient", especially the one in the attic. There is no furnace in attic and the ones we have are from 2011 and 2015. 3. I asked him if he wanted to take a look at the other furnace in the laundry room but he wasn't interested and left without looking at it. In the end it felt like he had no interest to actually work with us and what we have. Instead he pulled up in front of our house and already decided to sell us two new units, which is not necessary and extremely expensive $$$. When he followed up via text after the quote and I asked him about all this, he never responded. We ended up hiring a different company and will only replace one furnace but only because we needed more capacity due to adding of AC. If you want an HONEST opinion and REASONABLE pricing, take your business somewhere else! read more

They came to the job in clean uniforms and clean professional vehicles. They were courteous and respectful answering all my questions. They protected my home, wore booties and face masks and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside. After installing the forced air unit, they came back and correctly diagnosed a problem that was causing the unit to pulsate. Now this comes at a cost. This was the first time using this HVAC company. I called them based on the fact that they are not a large company, they're local, and still relatively new-ish (so my thought was they were still trying to be the best company they could be; earning a customer base and word-of-mouth business.) They were very responsive right out of the gate (messaged thru Yelp) and asking what I was needing in terms of service. I told them that I wanted my HVAC system checked and evaluated for the coming hot months ahead. They were on it and scheduled me quickly. The technician reached out to me early on the day they were scheduled to arrive and stated they were ahead of schedule and wanted to know if they could arrive earlier; that worked for me. The gentleman that arrive was attentive and listened to my summary of my system and what I was looking to have accomplished. Right away he asked to have me show him all the location of the compressor and related components (I have a decent working knowledge of AC and heating systems so he knew that I could fast forward thru a few question and answers that would probably been, par for the course, for the standard homeowner) and he got down to business. My system had a hard-start kit on it, an air scrubber and other items that made it a bit more complex than a standard AC system. He went thru it all and found a few issues that needed a decision from me. That's what I really enjoyed about this tech... he came to me to talked about my thoughts on the state of the system and two components that weren't working anymore. There was NO HARD SELL! God, is that refreshing... I was not spoken down to and we discussed all aspects of replacing parts, continuing maintenance and the like. Ultimately, I decided not to replace one of the parts (I'll budget that later) and did have the other one fixed/replaced. He showed me the parameters of the module and hooked it up to a multimeter and demonstrated that it was not longer functioning (also that the top had popped and there was soot viable; it had basically blown out.). He showed me the replacement part (he had on the truck... didn't have to wait) and put the same meter on it to show that it met the parameters. All good, it was installed, tested and done. I was just looking to add a duct to one of our bedrooms and called multiple places to get quotes, all the others said they didn't have time or it was too small of a job. Jamison has great customer service from the first call, confirmation call, representative and workers too. I was really impressed with there communication and making sure I understand all of my options for what I wanted to do. I ended up adding 2 ducts to the room since it was a converter 2 car garage and pretty big. On the day of install the 2 workers Showed up on time and looked and acted professional the entire time.
