    Ham and Cheese Omelet Sandwich
    Christina K.

I love visiting mom and pop places and Nanny's definitely has such positive vibes. The moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. You order at the counter but can take a seat at one of the many tables and they will bring you your order. As a party of two, we ordered an Americano, breakfast omelet sandwich on a baguette and a breakfast omelet on a croissant. The omelets have ham and cheese. The omelet is fluffy and both egg items were tasty. The baguette and the croissant tasted super fresh. It comes with a very small side of salad. The Americano coffee tasted really good! Even if I'm not hungry, I would definitely stop by just for a cup of coffee. The bakery case had other pastry items that I'm sure to try next time!

    The 10. Greek Sandwich

Quiet and quaint! This little sandwich shop was clean and friendly. The staff seemed like they could have been the owners. They were very friendly and welcoming. As we looked at the menu above the register and pastries, they offered to make any adjustments on the sandwiches that we desired. I got the Greek sandwich and it was delicious. All the flavors worked so well together. It was a very refreshing sandwich for a hot summer day. The baguette was the best. So fresh, crisp and crunchy on the outer parts, and doughy and soft on the inside. The small side salad that accompanied the sandwich was light and delicious as well. The staff, the food, and the setting were all comfortable and a great experience. Give them a try! So much better than a fast food lunch. Treat yourself to love and freshness!

I felt like I had lunch at my mom's. Food was freshly made, service was personalized. It's not my first time here and I will definitely come back!

Lunch or breakfast, Nanny's can deliver! Lots of options for both, food is of good quality and service very friendly. Nanny's is easy to find off of Lake Mead, has both indoor and outdoor seating and in one of the nicer plazas off of Lake Mead. We had a panini, a baquette sandwich and an omelette sandwich as well. It pleased us all and we will be sure to go back. It's a welcome spot in the neighborhood!

    Mediterranean sandwich and Belgian pannini

On the plus side, the food was tasty, the menu was creative, the restaurant had a nice decor, and the service was nice. My husband and I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich and the Belgian pannini and mentioned we were going to share both sandwiches. Much to our delight, they split the orders in the kitchen! Why did I knock off a star? Two reasons. First, they never mentioned the salad -- which was a nice surprise for me but a disappointment for my husband who doesn't like buttermilk-based dressing. Had he known about the salad, he would have asked for it without dressing. Second, we weren't told about the 3% credit card fee. It wasn't in the menu, and it wasn't mentioned at the time of the transaction. After looking at the receipt during lunch, my husband noticed the charge and then specifically went searching for the notice. He eventually found it in small print near the credit card machine, but the lack of disclosure left a bad taste in our mouths. This is a cost of doing business and should be included in the prices. Put differently, the prices were really reasonable, and I would have preferred to pay more for the sandwiches and not be charged a credit card surcharge, which just made us feel ripped off and not want to return.

This is a must-visit place if you are craving a delicious French breakfast/lunch. The place is very cute, super clean, and welcoming! The atmosphere was cozy with French music playing in the background. I love it! We ordered a couple of paninis, a sandwich and coffees. They were very yummy! I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Vegas to try different items in the menu. The service was excellent! The owner was super nice and very accommodating. She was also continuously smiling and chatted with us. Do not be shy to start a conversation with her. She was fun to talk to! Thanks for the great service and tasty food!

My apologies for the lengthy and detailed review. The high points were: my breakfast sandwich was tasty, coffee was strong and prepared with a professional espresso machine that produced an excellent mug full of caffeine, service was excellent. The lower points were: they don't open until 8 am and there are No Free Coffee Refills. Overall, it's NOT a breakfast sandwich restaurant, regardless of what their signage states. It is a French lunch cafe with a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. Saw Facebook advertisement for Nanny's, checked its Yelp reviews, and then decided to try it out. Nestled into a small strip mall, a couple of stores down from Weight Watchers, we found abundant parking. The front of the cafe has excellent signage announcing Nanny's French Breakfast Sandwiches. Ironically, they don't open until until 8 am, but are open until 4:30 weekdays. Saturdays are 8 to 3. Closed Sundays. Perusing their menu boards, it's obvious this is a lunchtime cafe. So, regardless of the cafe name, it's tasty lunch they serve rather than breakfast. There were outdoor tables shaded with orange umbrellas. Not surprisingly, there was only one customer during the time we were present on an "early" Friday morning. My wife completed her WW class at 7:30, but we couldn't go eat as the restaurant didn't open until 8. Instead, we went grocery shopping and then returned for breakfast. Normally, we would have gone elsewhere, but we really wanted to try Nanny's food. Though the food was very tasty, convenience will probably win out in the future. There are too many breakfast places in West Las Vegas to wait around for Nanny's to open. The interior is bright, well lit, cheerful and inviting. The menus are large and easy to read. The entrance and tables are ADA compliant and easily allow wheelchair access. Ambiance was supplied by a Boom Box, which played French music that was easy listening with an uplifting beat. The young French lady at the register immediately greeted us upon entry. She was friendly, courteous, and professional. Turned out, she was The Everything! From preparing and serving excellent coffee (expensive espresso machine) to cooking and serving our breakfast to taking our money, she demonstrated every necessary skill and provided superb service. The coffee was great! It was strong and flavorful, but not overpowering. The quality of the coffee made sense given the professional espresso machine that prepared it. The mugs were white porcelain, clean, shiny, and large. None of the tiny, one ounce shot glass size, cups here. That was appropriate as there were NO FREE REFILLS. No guzzling down multiple cups of coffee! I had a #1 Breakfast Sandwich. Served on a long rectangular white porcelain plate with actual metal flatware, it had a fresh and lightly crunchy slice of long bread roll stuffed with scrambled eggs. The bread had been flattened with a panini press and cut diagonally into halves. The inside of the bread was soft. The scrambled eggs with thinly sliced ham were cooked perfectly. There was a small side salad on the plate consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and was lightly dressed in ranch. It was cold, crisp, and complemented the sandwich quite nicely. It was a simplistic sandwich with great flavor. Overall, Nanny's makes delicious sandwiches (and presumably salads) with a French flair. You should spend a lunch time here enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and good food.

Nice little hidden gem inside/outside seating with a decent menu they also offer free WiFi ! Omelette was nicely prepared tasted great along with fresh baguette everything is simple and if you've every been to Europe well you'll feel at home! Only four stars because I noticed no coffee refill for those of you who drink coffee! Will definitely return and looking forward to try some other menu items.

Italian Panini with added greens and tomato
    Kirk A.

We love this place. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, she remembers us and our orders and makes the best panini's. Everything is made to order and very delicious. Definitely one of our most favorite places to grab a quick breakfast. My go-to's are the Swiss and Italian paninis! So good!

    Restaurant

Very good service, Good food and Drink. Very underrated better than starbucks. The only down was that the furniture is very plain, basic. The design is off but very good food and service. I will be coming back and hopefully they open more locations so I can go more often.

Our meals arrived surprisingly fast, which made me wonder if my Belgian waffles had been sitting under a heat lamp. They looked overcooked, tasted stale, and were so hard you could barely cut through them. The server took them back without saying much and I ordered the berry crepes instead. And based on the first three letters of the restaurant's name, it had to be outstanding, right? First, this WAS a 3 Michelin Star restaurant in 2008-2009, but Michelin no longer rates restaurants in Las Vegas (they should). With that being said it's a AAA 5-Diamond which I guess also means good. I don't know what Firestone or Car and Driver thinks of this place, although the latter would probably not love it since it's not a BMW. All joking aside, if you consider yourself a foodie, then the 12 Course Menu Degustation is a multi-course bucket list item that's somewhat attainable. I've read horror stories of booking other high-end eateries, but take a shot here and you may get lucky. They happened to have a ton of reservations the week before Christmas, so we were lucky. I will say if you're doing a wine pairing, you may not want to get a cocktail beforehand when you're waiting for your table in the lounge. I had a Gin and Tonic and it was huge and blew away the Ultimate G&T by Jose Andres. But the wine pairing with the meal is a LOT of wine and you'll be tipsy unless you're a descendent of Oscar Wilde. Once the experience begins, you'll be amazed at everything that's happening. Service is impeccable with multiple staff members tending to your every need. I'll say even if you think you may not like something, try it and you might surprise yourself. I never truly liked any caviar before eating it here. With that being said, beets are still beets no matter how you slice them. :) It's expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion. I think they have other dining options besides the extravaganza deluxe, but I didn't really pay attention. It was also a phones away event (my idea) for full enjoyment, although a few dishes were so beautiful I was tempted to reach into my pants... for my phone... to clarify. There is a dress code so be sure to comply. For guys, I would recommend a jacket or a tie with dress pants/shoes. For ladies, I'd recommend micro-skirts and crop tops, but I don't think they do... so a nice dress or blouse with appropriate pants/shoes would probably suffice. I was totally blown away and it was definitely the best tasting menu I've experienced... and I've been to Carrabbas's Wine Dinner!

I want to shout out our very attentive server, Patrick. He made our dinner feel so much more informed and intimate. I was unable to take a picture of the set menu and the restaurant changed the menu the next day... so the names of the dishes are from memory. The food was exquisite. Every single dish was perfectly thought out and complimented each other so well. The entire set menu emulated spring with bright, green ingredients. Foie Gras with wine reduction and parmesan cheese foam (5/5): Beautiful introduction. The foie gras was so creamy and delicious. It was almost custard-like with how soft it was. It was fatty, savoury, and a great way to introduce the rest of the set menu. Salad (4.5/5): I loved this! The flavours were so bright and the veggies were so naturally crispy. The chef did a really good job in bringing out the natural acidity of the vegetables. Really was able to indulge in these flavours after the fatty foie gras. Scallop carpaccio topped with caviar and a side of beets (5/5): I would never think to put beets with scallops? This was so good. The umami of the caviar paired with the acidity of the sauce really hit heights. The texture of the carpaccio was perfect as well, almost a melt in your mouth experience. Pea (?) soup with lobster puree (5/5): Not gonna lie, best pea soup I ever had. I didn't even know you could elevate pea soup in this way. The lobster... essence? Puree? Beautiful addition to the soup. 10/10 would have it again. And I don't enjoy peas. Crispy tartine topped with a quail egg, morel mushrooms, asparagus, and parmesan cheese (5/5): Tartine was perfectly flaky, buttery, and crispy. All of the toppings were excellent as well. When everything was eaten together, all the flavours were so GOOD. Savoury, buttery, umami goodness!! Korean fish on couscous with tomato consume (4/5): Perfectly balanced dish. The fish was well cooked. Very soft and tender. Steak tartare with frites and bread (5/5): SO WELL SEASONED. Usually with steak tartare at other places, I have issues with it being too acidic or overly seasoned. But this was perfection with the fries. NY strip with porcini (?) mushrooms and mashed potatoes (5/5): Very well seared, perfectly cooked and a soft tender experience. The sauce on the side worked so well with the meat. A5 Wagyu with porcini (?) mushrooms and mashed potatoes (5/5): A REAL melt in your mouth experience. I did not have to chew it practically melted in my mouth and was so so SO worth the additional price tag. Yuzu ice dessert with popping candy(?): I'm unsure if they used actual popping candy but whatever they did worked so good with the dessert! It was such a lovely addition to the set menu. Really brought back childhood memories! Yuzu ice cream with pandan sponge cake and (?) wafers sprinkled with assorted nuts and gelee (5/5): I thought this dish had the prettiest presentation. The dessert was also very well thought out and was super creamy and refreshing!

I first visited in May 2023, and after more than twenty visits since then, that combination is exactly why I keep coming back. The escargot arrived sizzling hot with a rich garlic butter that carried the dish well. Escargot itself is naturally mild, so the sauce determines whether the dish works, and here the balance was right. The duck breast was the highlight of the evening. The skin stayed crisp throughout the entire plate and the meat was extremely tender. In fact, halfway through eating I realized I had been cutting the duck with the regular table knife instead of the steak knife they provide, which says a lot about how well the dish was executed. This was also the best version of the duck I've had here so far. Service pacing was also handled very well. My server noticed I was still working on the escargot before asking the kitchen to fire the duck, so the timing between courses felt deliberate rather than rushed. Throughout the meal the staff also checked in regularly, and I never felt forgotten even though the restaurant was very busy. Small hospitality details also stand out here. The bread arrives warm, and the butter is properly tempered rather than cold and hard straight from the refrigerator. The dining room itself is memorable too--chic, slightly eccentric, but cohesive. Chandeliers hang overhead, one wall features black-and-white pinstripes with actual framed animal skulls mounted as art, and the bar area has a marble-style sign with silver lettering for the restaurant's name. Upholstered booths complete the room and give it a polished bistro feel. After more than twenty visits over the past few years, this review is long overdue. The staff was so kind & the bartender Ivan will regale you with story upon story of the neighborhood and everything thing that makes Old Vegas great!!!!! ( ask him why they use to call this area of town "naked city" ) Truly a Vegas story of lore. This lady's & gentlemen is the real reason we travel. To share a drink and an eat and feel welcomed while we do it. Don't miss the blue cheese olives in your extra extra dry martini & tuna tartar small plate. Tucked inside the Aria, is probably my favorite brunch spot in Las Vegas and one of the best à la…read morecarte brunches I have had on the Strip. The place feels like a spacious Parisian café. We started with the fruit plate, served with a crème fraîche buckwheat honey that elevated something simple into something memorable. Then came the Croissant Benedict, which was excellent and generously hammy in the best way. But the real reason we keep coming back is the pastry basket. It arrives with four pieces, and two of them are genuinely special. The kouign-amann is buttery, deeply caramelized, and one of the best I have ever had anywhere. The canelé is everything it should be: a dark, lacquered crust giving way to a custardy interior perfumed with vanilla and rum. The other two, a chocolate croissant and a Nutella brioche, round it out nicely. Pricey? Yes. Worth every bite? Absolutely. We paid $90 for just those three plates without a drop of alcohol, and walked away with zero regrets.

It was 4pm, so we need a reservation for 7pm, I found on place with a 7pm reservation and booked it... that was Le Cirque. I did not know one thing about this restaurant. I only have to say... what a discovery. We walked in from the ringing noise of the casino to a beautiful quiet oasis. Greeted by a hostesses as if we had been there every weekend for 50 years, and the service got even better from there. The decor is quite nice, with the perfect use of texture to limit any floating conversation. I could actually have a conversation with my wife in my 'inside' voice. The wine list is great, we had a nice rose and burgundy, reminisent of our honeymoon in France. We selected the 4 course dinner. I am a vegetarian, and am use to limited selections at fine restaurants, however, the 4 course meal was one great dish after another. My wife loved every one of her dishes as well, and speaking of dishes, the china with the Curious George was so special since we both hold that little ape close to our hearts.
