The Ultimate Ribeye Steak & 2 Egg Breakfast
Candy D.

I've been to Rise & Shine in sohi, but I've decided to try out this Summerlin location. Their entrance is on the Body Heat store side and this location looks a lot bigger than than the sohi one. Once walking in I sat to wait for about 5 minutes, then was seated by one of the bartenders at their booths. The space looked big and the tables were evenly spread through out the restaurant, which I liked because it allowed for my party and I to dine with privacy without hearing other people's conversation. Our server was Karen and she was such a sweetheart! In my party there were guests who haven't dined with Rise & Shine before, and Karen was kind enough to give us extra time to review the menu and be available for any questions. She backed up my recommendation for the cup-o-bread and was kind enough to ensure all of us had it, so we were trying it for the first time (excluding me since I've tried it may time before, lol). I had a rewards situation that wasn't cooperating and the manger and Karen was able to look into it deeply. I appreciated this gesture because I figured I could use another email address, nope--they were able to ensure it was on the same account for me. The manager adjusted my email to reflect the correct address at the end of my visit. Though this location is further from me, I am willing to travel here just for the customer service they've provided! Thank you Karen and manager (so sorry I didn't get your name).

Key Encounters ..

I decided to try Rise & Shine for breakfast today, and for a first visit, this place made a very strong impression. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a really comfortable energy to it right away. The staff was friendly across the board, and my server, Whitney, was wonderful. Service felt smooth, the food came out in a good amount of time, and the whole experience had that easy, well-run feeling that makes a breakfast spot stand out. I started with the Watermelon & Strawberry Juice, and that alone set the tone. It was bright, refreshing, and tasted genuinely fresh instead of overly sweet or artificial. It looked great, but more importantly, it actually delivered on flavor. One thing I really appreciated was the complimentary first-time treat they brought out, a cinnamon roll-style bread served in a cup with a cream cheese sauce. I did not get a chance to eat it myself because the person I was with ended up trying it, but they said it was really good. More than anything, I thought it was a great touch that they acknowledged it was my first time and gave me something welcoming right out of the gate. Small gestures like that matter. I ordered the build-your-own omelette with cheddar cheese, bacon, avocado, tomato, and steak. What caught me off guard, in the best way, was the steak. Usually when you add steak to an omelette, you expect chopped pieces mixed inside. I was not expecting them to put an actual, nicely cooked cut of steak right on top. That made the dish feel much more substantial than I anticipated, and it instantly gave the plate a little more personality than a standard breakfast order. It was one of those moments where the food shows up and you immediately know you got more than you expected. I also decided to go a little lighter on the side and ordered fruit, and even that was handled with care. The presentation was clean, colorful, and surprisingly polished for something as simple as a fruit side. It made the whole meal feel more intentional. Overall, this was a great stop and exactly the kind of breakfast experience I am always looking for. Good service, clean environment, thoughtful presentation, fresh drinks, and food that gives you a little more than what you expected. That combination is what turns a place from just another breakfast spot into somewhere you actually want to come back to. For me, Rise & Shine is absolutely going on the regular rotation.

Ariel was simply amazing! Our food was quick, the service was superb! I liked how friendly everyone was and how good the food was.

White chocolate cappuccino

10/10 no a local saw this on tik tok. Started with a white chocolate cappuccino it was delicious. They also have whole fruit juice no additives, so we tried a watermelon juice was so good. For plates husband got the steak no eggs with hash browns he devoured the steak said it had good flavor. It cane with a side of toast or bread in a cup so I decided to take one for the team and it was honestly one of the best things I have ever tried super moist spongy and tasted like a cinnamon roll. For my plate I got the build your own eggs choice of pork sausage with pancakes, best pancakes I've had at a restaurant. The service was excellent fast and super friendly. When visiting Vegas you have to stop by!!

In the area, hubby was craving for French toast. Yelp lead us here and we enjoyed and shared an avocado toast and cinnamon French toast. It was delish. Got a carrot juice, it was surprisingly good and refreshing. Service was awesome. Busy breakfast place with your average noise but I can see and taste why. We be right back!! Happy eats!

Iron Baked Belgian Waffle, The Ultimate Ribeye Steak & 3 Egg Breakfast

Didn't want a bougie, hipster breakfast place, wanted more of your classic plate breakfast, so I ended up at Rise & Shine. Absolutely the best place to end up at. Steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and had me fulllllll. Wife's waffle was wonderful with whipped cream. (You see that 6 w-word streak?) One of the best breakfasts in Vegas for this kind of plate and price range.

BTA Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

I usually go to the Rise & Shine in Southern Highlands but I was on the other side of town so I stopped in the Flamingo location. I always order breakfast when I go, but this time I ordered lunch. I went with the BLT chicken Caesar salad without tomatoes. The salad was very large and filling. Our server was great. He was energetic and provided great hospitality. The restaurant is larger than the other location I've been to and has a cute shopping area in the front. Ride & Shine is always a great place to dine at.

When in Las Vegas I must have steak and eggs, but gone are the days where you can get steak and eggs for $9.99, unless you want to have breakfast at midnight. Yelp and Google lead me to Rise and Shine, A Steak & Egg Place. I figured, how can we go wrong if Steak and egg is in the name of the restaurant. They offer a New York Country Fried Steak breakfast which I almost went with, but I said I was craving Steak and eggs, so I stuck to it and ordered the Ribeye with two over easy eggs and hash browns extra crispy. My order came out as I ordered it to perfection. The Ribeye perfectly seasoned and tender to the bite. I was very satisfied with everything including the service. The whole service staff works as one unit and not as one person. My teas were refilled by whoever came by and saw I needed more. If I needed something, any of their wait staff was ready to handle the request. To end my meal, I opted for the bread in the cup which I intended to save as my dessert. A fluffy bread dough baked in an espresso cup along with a creamy not too sweet icing on the side. It was all delicious. It wasn't $9.99, but every bite was worth it for it was a Steak and Egg place.

Service was fast. Got seated right away, no wait which I loved! Ambience was relaxing and decor is very cute inside. Our server Karen was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and gave us really great customer service which is not always the case. Lastly the food was excellent. I was pleased with my meal. The plating is very beautiful too on the eyes. Will definitely eat here again! If you haven't tried I recommend you do.

This place continues to be a family favorite. They have great breakfast selections. I personally love the freshly squeezed juices. Service is always great. I love that the servers are in Jammie's. Our go to is the cup of bread. Great food, great service and overall great vibes .

LEt me just say we had ourselves a wonderful time at Rise N Shine on Flamingo Road during our Vegas trip. It was our very first visit, and let me tell you, it felt like a bit of Southern comfort right there in the heart of the city. We were there with my folks, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends. The food was plentiful and packed with flavor, just the kind of hearty, soulful cooking that makes you feel right at home. And we have to give a big ol' thank you to Karen, who took such good care of us and brought out this amazing cup of bread soft, warm, and just the perfect comforting bite. If you're ever in the area and need a place that feels like a little Southern hug, this is it. We'd absolutely recommend it!

Cottage Cheese
Clydelle J.

Rise & Shine is a solid breakfast spot, especially if you're eating low-carb or keto. I ordered the steak and eggs with avocado on the side, and the steak was cooked well (medium, nicely seasoned), eggs were done right, and portions were generous. They're flexible with substitutions--I swapped out bread/hash browns for cottage cheese, which I appreciated. Coffee was good, and they offer half-and-half on the side, which is a small but thoughtful touch. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable, casual, and easy to relax in. Overall, a great option if you want a satisfying, protein-forward breakfast without feeling boxed into standard carb-heavy choices. Would definitely come back.

Wasn't a fan of the bread and it was kinda bland. Hadn't tried this place for years because of the motherland can't get it right, I wasn't going to mess with the US version. I was wrong. The sandwich was 5/5. I was thinking about this sandwich for days after. What makes them different is the bread. It's toasted, a bit thinner, while being fluffy on the inside, has that crunch on the outside. And it was phenomenal. Met a family of four who is a regular, that recommended the one with pistachio cream inside. I decided to try something else instead and it was amazing. I can't remember which one it was but it had spicy sauce with spicy salami inside. I'll def be going back to give a shot on the pistachio cream that the family shared they are addicted to.

I went in on a Monday around 11am, and to my surprise there was only one other group (of 3) ahead of me. The employee immediately helped us and asked which sandwiches we wanted. I ordered the Schiacciata del Boss, and the Summer. Each sandwich was $21. Additionally I purchased a Sparkling Water for $3. The employee began making my sandwiches, and I did have a hard time understanding what he said to me because he was mumbling, but I didn't get yelled at so I guess I followed his directions accurately. I will say, It was a bit of sticker shock to realize that I paid $48.77 for two sandwiches and a sparkling water. When we opened the sandwiches, they were actually a lot wider than I had anticipated. I should have done better research because I did not expect the sandwiches to be so flat. I expected them to have a little bit more veggies of some sort in them. The prosciutto also felt very minimal and thin. The bread itself was fantastic. You could tell it was fresh and soft. Additionally the truffle spread was prominent in all the best ways. I did have a problem with my sandwich though.. as I was eating my half of the sandwich, I looked down and there was a hair wrapped around some of the meat and coming out of my sandwich. I tried to tell myself it was my hair, because it was black, but my hair is long and that day it was curly. This hair was short and black and wrapped around the meat going further into the sandwich. Unfortunately, my first reaction was to pick it out and throw the hair on the ground, so I did not get a photo of it. Because I did not have proof, I didn't feel it was appropriate to go back in and address it. The customer service was very nice, so it's my best guess that they would have handled it appropriately if it was brought to their attention. Overall (excluding the hair incident), I enjoyed the bread, but I did not feel as though the quality of the sandwich met the price point of what I was charged. If it had more meat and veggies, then I would have been all for it, but $21 for really good bread, is something I will pass on.

It's honestly the kind of bread that makes it hard to ever go back to store-bought loaves. Unfortunately, what brings this review down to 3 stars is the customer service from the owner. My partner and I have been coming here for months, and while some visits are better than others, there has consistently been a noticeable lack of warmth and respect toward customers. Interactions often feel uncomfortable, and questions are answered in a belittling or dismissive tone. Because of this, I usually have my husband pick up our orders instead. Today's interaction especially stood out. I asked about the bakery's baking schedule so I could better plan my visits and arrive when fresh bread is available. Earlier in the day, I had called ahead to make sure fresh bread was in stock, but after driving 20 minutes, it had already sold out. I completely understand that happens, and I still purchased a day-old loaf. However, when I politely asked about the baking schedule, the response I received was: "Well, I don't know how that is relevant to our conversation at all," delivered in a rude and dismissive manner. Asking a bakery about their baking schedule feels like a completely normal question, especially in Las Vegas where many bakeries openly share when fresh bread is available so customers can plan accordingly. This review is not based on one isolated interaction, but rather the overall experience we've had over the past several months. It's disappointing because the product itself is genuinely excellent, and many customers go out of their way to support this business. In a city known for hospitality, a little more kindness and consideration toward loyal customers would go a long way. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because I truly would love to continue supporting this bakery.

Hencredible is mostly a to go place as it only has one two top and a few counter seats when dining in. They also post about their cute bags on their social media, which I didn't get on my first visit since I dined in that time. On this last visit, I ordered via their website which is very easy to navigate. They were out of the mushroom fries on my first visit, so I really wanted to try them on this visit. The Husband got the KFC Sandwich ($10) with medium heat. He really enjoyed the cider slaw and Korean radish but wished he got the Hot heat as it wasn't spicy enough for him. The Little Gal got the Loaded Waffle Wreck ($13) because she wanted the shredded jack cheese. However, there was no cheese in sight, and the waffle fries were only okay. Next time, we would probably just do the KFC Bites and fries/mushroom fries instead with the sauce on the side too. The Little Guy got the KFC Bites ($7) and it only came with one sauce. Midway through, he was asking if there was any more sauce and I had to tell him no unfortunately. I got the Mushroom Fries ($5) and it also came with one sauce. I really enjoyed the flavor of it but probably would have liked it even more if I had it fresh. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed it was in a plain brown bag and asked about their special bags and was told they ran out. While in the car and distributing the food, I noticed I had only two sauces - one for the KFC Bites and one for the Mushroom Fries. (I was given two sauces for my KFC Bites during my first visit.) I went back in to ask about the sauces and told them I had received two sauces the other day. He asked what day and I told him on Wednesday and he said they were not supposed to do that. He was very indifferent about the whole situation and didn't offer to sell me another sauce or anything. So, I was a bit bummed with this experience because of the inconsistency with sauce distribution. Because we had four orders and they were piled on top of each other, the dishes on the bottom got a bit steamy and wasn't ideal for something that was recently deep-fried. I really enjoyed my first experience and do attribute that I was dining in, so the items were hot, fresh, and crispy. I would return but would not do to go.
