Updating my review because we finally tried the food offerings. The food was forgettable, definitely not the type of food one would expect that these prices. And the drinks are very expensive as well. It's alcohol- sell it for less and make more because SL people like to drink. I'm not trying to hurt the business because we need cute places in Southlake. however, if the owners don't get their act together quick then I'm afraid you won't make it. Enjoyed a quick date night at Jane! Was looking for some place new to try out close to home, and remembered I had bookmarked Jane. Was quickly able to make a reservation, although one really wasn't needed as it wasn't overly packed when we arrived. Our server, May, greeted us quickly and offered a lot of great options. For drinks we tried the 1151 Old Fashioned and Rosalita. We both enjoyed our drinks. We also had the Waygu Sliders and Truffle Fries, and enjoyed those as well. Overall, great to have a upscale cocktail spot close by to avoid having to to either Fort Worth and Dallas. We will certainly be back! read more

This place is so cute! We went on a double date and sat on the patio. The ambiance was perfect with a live DJ. We ordered a lot of small plates and everything was delicious. I used to love this place and came by regularly to work and eat and brought colleagues for work meetings. But they've changed their menu several times and each time it's gotten smaller and worse. makes me so bad. Bring back the yummy sandwiches and loaded waffle fries and expand your selection. We went there for Labor Day brunch with about 14 other family members. The mimosas were fantastic as as well as the service. The food wasn't bad either, so if u are in the mood for brunch food come to Jane and grab the chicken and waffles. It was probably my fav along with the fully loaded waffle fries. She has been a few times before and endorsed it, but on the Saturday we went it was slow and there seemed to be enough workers; however, our server was a)less than enthused to be working, and b) not very attentive. First we tried the, blueberry mule (Deep Eddy Vodka, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Agave, & Blueberries) which was surprisingly not too sweet and very refreshing. Secondly, I tried the Port of Jane (Four Roses Bourbon, Port, Orange and Spice Liqueurs) which is similar to a Manhattan. This drink was good but just a bit too small. I don't know about anything other than the service - and I did let the manager know and she was not apologetic , did not try to make the situation right or offer any solution...... not a manager I would ever hire for my business. When i entered some young man said sit anywhere and 15 minutes later ..... I flagged someone down to get waters and possibly a menu. ( there were 2 other tables - so a total of 6 customers and I counted 10 workers on the floor - all chatting with each other) . I left after another 10 minutes and no water or menu. So I have no clue about their food or wine. This was my second try - the first was shortly after they opened so I decided to give them another try - it was exactly the same. We then went to Postinos. We were greeted, seated promptly and had water, menus and wine within a few minutes and very nice waiter that were helpful and knowledgeable. How do you stay open ? There are so many other much better places to spend my money. And a tip ..... do not discount or ignore older customers..... they are usually better tippers and love going out. It's not a quick service place - which I know is not for everyone - but is part of the relaxed appeal for me. This place is terrible. I've been here twice now and they don't hire enough people to work. Both times we have done a birthday party of 10 (we made a reservation) .... And it's been 40 min and we just now got our drinks. Hour and 15 minutes later, we got food. Had to ask for silverware. Had to ask for glasses for my mimosa bottle. Customer service is alive at last! We had the most amazing server (Jo), who went above and beyond to take care of our party of three. Though tasty, there were problems with delivery in the kitchen; our server, Jo, did everything she could to make it right. In the end, we asked to speak with Chef Dion. We explained the problems and, like Jo, he was courteous and gracious. He brought dessert for the table and assured us that he would look into the problems to ensure it wouldn't happen again. This is a hard one. Went for lunch today. Nice atmosphere and decor. The kitchen was really slow. Our server apologized for the delay. Once they came out, our meals were all great....Nashville hot chicken sliders, Turkey & Brie melt and fish tacos. It's pricey for what you get, but I would probably go back for the food....after all, it is Southlake, right? Unfortunately, the service was very weak. There appeared to only 2 servers in the whole place. Our server was polite, but inattentive. Also, our table ordered 2 drinks. Again, very slow to get them to our table. In fact, only one drink came out and it was made incorrectly. Still not sure where the 2nd one went?? I realize that many restaurants are struggling with finding enough servers. However, when I'm paying premium prices, I expect at least average service.....and our experience today was well below average. So, the dilemma for me is this - is the food good enough to over- come poor service? Unfortunately, for me, it's not. I really have trouble enjoying my meal when the service is lacking. You need to come visit and make Jane your best friend. She'll treat you well. Something different in a food space becoming dominated more and more by chains. Ordered Avocado Toast and Berry crepes. The toast was made to perfection with fresh Avocado that had good flavor but was not over ripe. Berry crepes were delicious but not overly sweet. Owner was friendly introduced himself and beyond the decor the versatility of the space was clear. Great breakfast brunch spot that fades into an intimate small bar atmosphere at night. Unfortunately, we were not quite impressed with Jane. My party visited for a Sunday brunch. Although the decor was chic and the prices were reasonable, the food and the service could have used some significant help. I ordered the brunch bowl with salmon and found it to be too salty to finish. The service was also a bit slow and not very polished (we had to ask for basic things like silverware). Our server seemed overall uninterested. Based on this experience, I don't think I would return for brunch. Perhaps I would be willing to come back to try a drink at their bar, which looked lovely from a distance. read more

Had brunch with two of my girlfriends today while visiting from Oklahoma. Bella was a phenomenal waitress, she gave us good suggestions and checked on gluten-free options for my friend. Drinks took a little while to be made even though there was only a few tables. Bella suggested the espresso martini with tequila and it was AMAZING, worth the wait in my opinion. All three of us had the breakfast tacos and they were also good. We had just left a friend's funeral and they gave us complimentary dessert, which I thought was a super sweet thought. The space is small and intimate but it's a great place to go for happy hour with your coworkers or just want to sit and enjoy a drink. They have some small finger food which surprised me. I had tried their chai-Rita but it didn't really taste a lot like chai. I also tried their ginger snap later on and I liked it better than the chai.
