Dr. Kiripolsky was friendly and confident in the treatment plan, which included CO2 laser for enlarged pores and a small scar. However, before starting, I was required to purchase prep products from her office without being given an itemized receipt. I had to request one by email, and when I received it, I was shocked to find the consultation fee listed as a "new patient remaining balance" instead of being credited toward treatment as promised. Even more concerning was a $200 charge for Tretinoin 0.1%--a medication that usually costs about $6 with insurance. Most doctors would encourage patients to get it covered by insurance. When I raised these issues, Dr. Kiripolsky offered no meaningful explanation or resolution. Nonetheless, with limited vacation days and time being valuable, I moved forward. At her suggestion, I added CO2 laser around the eyes and completed two rounds of treatment over 10 months. The first session was so painful I teared up during the procedure. Strangely, the second was almost painless, which left me questioning the consistency and quality of care. In total, I spent nearly $7,000 on treatments and products with below-average results. Just to warn you, Dr. Kiripolsky's procedures are quite expensive. For the CO2 treatment, Dr. Kiripolsky charges $1,800 for the nose and $3,500 for the eyes. She personally called me from her home (I could hear her baby crying) to persuade me to add the eye treatment, which I hadn't initially planned to do. When I told her I wasn't willing to pay $3,500, she reduced the price to $2,500, and I agreed. However, on the day of the procedure, she made a snide comment about giving me a discount, which felt unprofessional. This experience left me feeling misled, overcharged, and extremely disappointed. I would strongly caution others before committing to care here. MY RESPONSE TO DR. KIRIPOLSKY'S REPLY: I want to clarify a few points from my experience, as your reply unfortunately reinforces why I felt compelled to leave a review in the first place. First, regarding the $150 payment, the confusion stems from a lack of clear and proactive communication from your office. How do you explain the $150 listed as a "new patient remaining balance" if that's not a consultation fee? And how do you justify charging patients $200 for tretinoin? During my initial consultation, you clearly said my nose would only require 1 to 2 treatments. The narrative that multiple treatments would be necessary only came after you saw minimal results--10 months after the first procedure. What was initially discussed as a significant improvement from one treatment was later reframed as a "most likely" need for more, once results didn't meet expectations. Expectations were not clearly or consistently managed, and I relied on your guidance to make an informed decision. Regarding your comments on my scars, I respectfully find the phrasing inappropriate. Referring to them as "deep, self-inflicted wounds" in a public forum feels both unnecessary and unprofessional. It comes off as judgmental rather than supportive, especially for someone seeking help and healing. As for missed follow-ups, I have NEVER missed any so please be honest. In fact, your office often confused the schedule, and I had to rearrange mine just to come in. Regarding the skincare routine, I told you clearly that I followed the instructions to the tee. So please stop being dishonest. Lastly, I never expected overnight results and fully understood that healing would be a process--but I did expect compassionate care and clear, honest communication throughout. I just took my third weekly shot. I started after a friend of mine who is a Singer told me about having her glutathione is good for vocal cords, and Hee bought a series of 10 and ended up resorbing assist he had in his knee. he was slated to remove surgically . I used to take glycine orally because it's great for chelation in particularly useful for people who are neurodivergent (which I am) then I read about what it does for skin at Dr. Kormeili's and decided to try the shots. Within 10 minutes of the first shot, I felt my whole nervous system relax and felt very grounded. It took away my sugar cravings, which I'm not claiming as one of the benefits. It's just what it did to me and on day six I usually feel that I'm ready for my next shot. It would be too lengthy for me to get into all the reasons, but I would encourage you to do a deep dive into the benefits of glutathione and I don't know if they are all created equal but what I get from Dr. kormeili makes an almost immediate and noticeable difference in my life. And I feel when I need more. And plus I get to see Dr. kormeili weekly which always makes my day The other thing I will say about the office is that everybody that I have seen there does not look like they've had anything done. And I really appreciate her discouraging me from services. She feels I do not need in case I haven't been clear: I absolutely love Dr. Kormeili. Also forgot to mention what she did with one syringe of filler was nothing short of miraculous in terms of restoring my face to where I recognize myself and felt like myself again and what I can tell you is it's not what I think I needed. After paying for parking, arriving soaking wet through the rain, they almost told me I couldn't wait for the Dr. in the waiting room. I asked for a chair to sit outside in the hallway and they obliged my request to sit in the waiting room. This means my $100+ deposit to secure my appt is a loss for me and gain for them, and it makes me wonder if this is happens to others. I asked the front desk lady about what they plan on doing about the money I had already paid or if my visit today will be discounted based on the issues and she shrugged her shoulders in response. I chose Dr. Heather Roberts based on the reviews I've read, but unfortunately I was not one of the ones who received that treatment. I understand emergencies may happen, but the office should've been more professional and proactive phoning those with appts hours before their time. Especially those who have been booked for months. I cannot justify paying full price for a visit that's already cost me a great deal of money, but most of all time I cannot get back. In my experience, Dr. Jennifer Ahdout performed BOTCHED work and then attempted to GASLIGHT me about its appearance by BLATANTLY suggesting that the area had already looked that way before the procedure. During two separate conversations, she stated, "There are no before photos," even after I told her that her own assistant had taken before photos on my phone. Those photos CLEARLY show that the area did not look that way before her botched work. Further, when I raised the issue of a refund, Jamie first attempted to SILENCE, then attempted to COERCE even going so far as to MANIPULATIVELY and UNETHICALLY suggest that the physical discomfort I was experiencing was normal. Jamie then attempted - yet again COERCIVELY and MANIPULATIVELY to reduce the amount owed even noting that Dr. Jennifer Ahdout said the amount was less even though Dr. Ahdout had already confirmed the correct amount with me directly TWICE - once during a follow up visit and again a second time a day prior to the phone conversation with Jamie. Then Jamie finally agreed to the correct amount, and ultimately refused to issue the refund without requiring me to sign a release form. Dr. Ahdout also promised to get back to me but has remained silent and has done nothing to ensure that I receive a refund for the botched work she performed. In my experience, Dr. Jennifer Ahdout performed a botched job, and the Roxbury Institute has refused to properly refund me for it. It's also a large amount. Instead of standing behind its work and simply returning the substantial amount of money I paid for the botched treatment, I have been forced to go back and forth with the office and my bank for weeks. Jamie has been aggressive, rude, and unprofessional, and, in my opinion, extremely dishonest, shady and greedy throughout this process. Jamie said their corporate "requires" this and that they will contact me. AGAIN, she displayed a pattern of violating boundaries and as soon as I would say their corporate did not have my consent to contact me - she would BLATANTLY REPEAT they will contact me. I informed her that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress and dispute the chargeback - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use ALL legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but to also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed and the emotional distress caused related to this matter and their conduct.
