    Chicken Yakisoba
    Dianna T.

I thought Palace Korean was pretty good for a mall food court place! There was no line, so we were able to order and get our food pretty quickly. I had the Beef Bulgogi Plate. It comes with rice and choice of two sides. I went with kimchi and potato salad. I thought everything tasted good, including the kimchi, which is difficult to get right LOL. I'm not used to eating potato salad with Korean food, but it tasted good too. My husband had the Chicken Yakisoba and he enjoyed it. I was going to order that too, but I wanted to try a traditional Korean dish instead. We had enough food for leftovers and I would definitely eat here again. Apparently some of their other restaurant locations have unlimited all you can eat Korean BBQ, so that definitely sounds interesting!

Located in the food court, no wait and fast service. Had the spicy pork and it was terrible. The pork is already precooked and all they did was warm it up. There was not a lot of it. It covered the rice, but pork was really thin and soft. It was almost like shredded pork that had been cooking for awhile. Definitely skimped on the meat tho. The sides were ok, had the Kimchi and picked daicon and carrots. Really expensive for rice and sides being the star of the dish. Idk, had upset stomach next morning. Definitely won't return.

Bottom line: I came in with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by this fortuitous find. I didn't want to stand in the relatively long line at Sarku Japan for their storied Hibachi so I went over a little skeptically to the Palace Korean. They had about five plated choices and we decided to try out their favorites: Bibimbap and Bulgogi. Although the presentation was a bit sloppy, the meal itself was actually good. The palate was pleased. The service was fast, the serving size was plenty, and the end state was achieved. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking to score a meal in-between your shopping spree or window shopping. Arguably, it wasn't my first choice but I'm glad I tried it and will definitely return for another meal in the future.

On vacation from Hawaii and was roaming the mall. Back home fast food KBBQ joints are everywhere and stay true to authentic Korean cuisine down to the banchan. Contemplated on a couple spots in the food court but decided on here just because I was craving rice. Pretty small menu and a very small disappointing number of side selections. I'm used to having a dozen or more banchan options but here there were like 5. Went with Teri chicken and potatoes and Kim Chee for the sides Instead of being made fresh like back home, I was disappointed to see the guy just open a pot and dump chicken onto my plate. Premade...lame and plates sloppily. Flavor was okay, nothing special. Potatoes were terrible and way too sweet. Nothing like how shoyu potato should be. Kim Chee was decent. Wouldn't go here again.

Beef Bulgogi w/ Macaroni Salad & Broccoli at Palace Korean BBQ & Grill.

My sales team decided to go to the food court at Southcenter for lunch. Noticing that Palace Korean BBQ & Grill was finished, I was interested to try it. I went w/ their beef bulgogi w/ macaroni salad & broccoli. Since it was "mall food" I wasn't expecting it to hold up to actual Palace Korean BBQ restaurants. Taking a bite of the bulgogi, I wasn't surprised that it lacked any flavor. What made it worse was the rice that was provided. You can tell that they cooked the rice w/ too much water which gives it the worse texture. The macaroni salad wasn't any better & to be honest, the broccoli was probably the only thing I enjoyed from this meal. I expected the food to be bad but if curiosity peaks your interest like me, I would strongly suggest to avoid this place by any means possible.

I shouldn't expect much out of mall food, but for 10.00 more I can go to their Bellevue or federal way location, grill it myself, and eat all I want. It wasn't as tasty, it was fine if you were really hungry like I was at the time. I only ate a quarter of the box plate. I still have a 15% tip even though the young guys cooking couldn't care less, and I'm sure anxious to get out of there since they only had 20 mins left until mall closed. If you're not picky when it comes to Asian food I'm sure you'll be okay with it. The potato salad isn't as tasty as the one they have at the restaurant, so I was a little disappointed because I love their potato salad! The bulgogi meat didn't look fresh, so I'm hoping I won't get sick. The grill the young guy used looked filthy, and done if the black burnt meat from other dishes got in mine. If I wasn't in a rush, and not eating on the way home I would've told them to do over or give my money back. But hindsight!

Perfect on the go kbbq (words I never thought I would put together)! The flavor is very similar to the other Palace Kbbq locations and that's very impressive considering it's coming from the mall food court! The meats are all very tasty, but if you are not familiar with Korean food maybe start with bulgogi or kalbi! The bean sprouts and kimchi are very tasty side dishes. They also have purple rice, which is my favorite! Honestly for the price of around $10 and the quality you really can't go wrong! The portion sizes are generous too! Plus, of course, there is the fact you won't smell like kbbq afterwards!

I got the 2. Beef Bulgogi Plate and wow amazing!! Such great food ! My sister got the chicken / beef and she said it was good as well!

Nice entryway/lobby area. The restaurant itself (and bar) is cozily set up, booths and tables, and charming art work from the movie "Caddy Shack" - loved that! Our server noticed us immediately, was efficient and friendly the entire time, and also makes a mean Billy's Cooler - a very refreshing citrus drink. The brisket sandwich was tops, the fries were good, the loaded potatoes are a fun option (the bacon was a little hard to eat - not crunchy, not soft). The main upset was the French Onion Soup, which was, let's just say, not their specialty area. It was overwhelmingly salty, with meager bread to soak up the broth. The server was kind enough to take it off our bill - it was, at least for me, inedible. My spouse thought the same. This was a glitch in an otherwise fine evening. Also notable was that, even though we came in about an hour before close, they never made us felt rushed. We will definitely go back for the ambience and try other menu items - and other drinks. GEN KOREAN BBQ @ SOUTHCENTER MALL…read more Parking is super easy at this location since it's in the Southcenter Mall, with plenty of free parking available. We found a spot right out front, and it's nice that you can also walk around the mall before or after your meal since there are lots of other shops and restaurants nearby. This was my first time trying JEN Korean BBQ with my family, and I was excited since I'd heard they have several locations across the U.S. We came for dinner, which is about $35 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu, while weekday lunch is around $25 per person, making it a great value if you're looking for AYCE Korean BBQ. They have a great selection of meats, plus plenty of appetizers. The corn cheese was definitely one of my favorites and is always a must-order for me. Everything came out fresh, and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to bring out refills. I also really liked the ambiance the darker interior gives the restaurant a cozy, modern feel that's perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back. If you enjoy Korean BBQ, this is a fun spot where you can cook your own food, try a variety of meats and sides, and eat as much as you want. BUT..... i noticed the hosts will come back and checkout to pay. This host Alina, was rushing me out. I wasn't over the eating time limit either. I also had to pay with a giftcard which had ro be verified and done through a manager, she came back and asked if i wanted a receipt and i said yes. She said "okay we can get that for you at the door" I could barely collect my items to leave and she comes back annoyed and shoves the receipt in my hand. The restaurant didn't seem that busy to be rushing me out and i enjoyed my dining experience up until that interaction. From that host, i wouldn't feel great or welcome as a solo diner. I find it really disappointing. I want to emphasize BIG shoutout to my server though!

I stopped in about 30 mins after they opened on a friday and they had a lunch rush, everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait at least 20mins. I ordered the 6oz catfish and chips which came with 3 catfish strips, fries, 1 hush puppy, chips and a drink ($16.99) I also got a side of mac&cheese. The positives: staff was kind, pastor at the counter would make jokes with customers and you could tell they had regulars during lunch time. Fries were well seasoned, hush puppy was good and Mac was acceptable. My only issue with the catfish was that it was overcooked and became a bit chewy (see photo). Sitting in there it seems like the wings were a customer favorite so I would love to go back and try their wings and other sides.
